BHMS - Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery - Batch of 2026
3.6

I am fully satisfied with the faculty, but the infrastructure and basic facilitied need improvement.
Placements: After BHMS you could go for higher studies I. e. MD. You could pursue MD from this university only or you could go for a government college after clearing AIPGET. After BHMS/MD, one can opt for own clinic or go for government hospital, government jobs etc. Various fields open up after this, you'll get a doctor's degree, but you can also change your field afterwards, if you're dissatisfied. But I guess homoepathy is a very good path and we need to take it forward.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is currently improving, but right now, honesty it's not up to the mark. Many things can be improved like water and sanitation facilities, otherwise the campus is quite good. Cleanliness is maintained fine enough. Library is present inside the campus with a huge variety of books including the course related books and some extra books too. I am not aware of any Wi-Fi availability but I can assure you, sadly, there is no network reachability, for jio sim uses at least, airtel works fine there. Different labs are assigned for different subjects, dissesction classes are also organised regularly in which you are made accustomed with real dead bodies (reserved cadavers) which will allow you to connect with anatomy better. Classroom are huge enough which provides space for 100 students, projectors, whiteboards and basic facilites are there. Mess food is not appreciable, they provide food 3 times a day. Various events like welcome party are held for the freshers every year. Warden is also there. Canteen is present in the campus itself, but it'not a comfortable place, as there's no proper seating arrangement, you could sit and eat but the floor is of mud only. Otherwise I assure you one thing, the canteen food is just amazing and very affordable too, you could always hang out with your fri there. Sports and games are held annually at the end of every year, I. e. in december, in the form of culturals. Games like volleyball, badminton, chess etc. Are being played.
Faculty: After the introduction of CBDC, the curriculum has quite improved a lot the teaching methods have also evolved. Most of the teachers are good at their job and they interact with each and every student as an individual. Various interactive sessions are also being held regularly.
Other: There are rarely any fest, but various events do occur timely. Annual, in december, the events like freshers and culturals are organised. Campus surroundings are mainly trees as it is situated in midst of an isolated area full of greenery, but the area has developed as of now, many shops are available now, but mainly it's a rural area so you can not expect much of it.

Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery - Batch of 2023
Offered by Dr. MPK Homoeopathic Medical College

It provides good education and students has life-changing experience.
Placements: Around 88% of students are placed. Almost 60% of students get internships in this college. The top role offered in our course is homeopathic doctors. Our college educates in clinical practice and shows the way of traveling the lifetime journey, i.e clinic practice and hospital replacements.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is not good in this college. It does not contain any Wi-Fi. Classrooms have no proper cooling or heating system. The laboratories are not in adequate condition. The food served in the hostel and mess is not good. The rooms are acceptable in this college. Sports and games are conducted yearly and contain all sports, dance, and other activities.
Faculty: Teachers are good, and they help in education. They are knowledgeable and the teaching quality is good. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The passing percentage is 52%, which includes examinations and practicals.
Other: I opted for this course, because homeopathy is a life-saving system of medicine, and recovers the internal structure of health. The improvement could take place in classroom structure and washroom.

This college has good teachers having a lot of knowledge.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students are placed. The highest salary pacakge offered is 2.3 LPA. After BHMS students can go for masters in homeopathy material medical or pharmacy or practice of medicine or organon of medicine. Government medical officer pharmaceutical, and open their clinic.
Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure and has one big library. The food quality is good in the mess and has OPD for patients. Sports activities are only done in cultures. But other than this there are no sports activities in our college. Hostel boys and girls have a volleyball court on their ground.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The course is relevant. The exams are difficult and the pass percentage is 50%. Teachers have their experience dealing with patients and students are allowed to go in OPD and learn how to take a case. Teachers help solve the case.

Satisfied with my college.
Placements: Placements are generally not provided by the college. But all the students get the opportunity for an internship. There are no recruiting companies that come to this college, and students generally set up their own clinics for practice purposes, so placements are not provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay; the campus is huge though. A big library with lots of books is there. Separate boxes for PG and UG are there in the library. Also, there are different blocks for academic administration etc. The quality of the food in the canteen and the mess is quite good. The medical facility is also good.
Faculty: This college's faculty is highly qualified, well experienced and extremely talented. The curriculum builds upon the government's guidelines. Semester exams are not very difficult and can be easily passed. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Homoeopathy is the need of the hour and people are now shifting to this best system of medicine for their full cure.

Comparing To MBBS, BHMS is quite easy to pass the entrance but Some private colleges also offer direct admissions based on your marks scored in the entrance exam. Both the government and private colleges are good options to study BHMS will be good if you study in bangalore
