The syllabus for ILSAT 2025 included the following topics:

  1. English: Vocabulary, reading comprehension, spellings, synonyms, antonyms
  2. Logical and Analytical Reasoning: Patterns, odd one out, series, relations, analogy, syllogism, blood relations, directions
  3. Legal Reasoning: Core law topics including torts, liability, criminal law, family law, contractual law, constitutional law, international law, IPR, contemporary topics and legal awareness
  4. GK & Current Affairs: General knowledge around politics, economics, geography, environment, and current events of national and international significance.

Q:   What is the marking scheme of ILSAT Exam?

A: 

The marking scheme of ILSAT Exam is as follows:

  • One mark will be awarded for each correct attempt.
  • No negative marking for wrong attempts or questions not attempted.

So, if you attempt a question and answer it correctly, you will be awarded one mark. If you attempt a question and answer it incorrectly, you will not lose any marks. However, if you do not attempt a question, no marks will be awarded or deducted.

Q:   Does ILSAT exam have any negative marking?

A: 

According to the ILSAT pattern, ILSAT 2025 Marking Scheme, there is no negative marking for wrong attempts or questions not answered by the candidates. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct attempt, and there is no negative marking for unattempted questions.

Therefore, the answer to your question is "No, ILSAT exam does not have any negative marking."
