IFHE Hyderabad BSc Admission 2023

ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education offers one undergraduate programme in Basic Science, namely Bachelor of Science (BSc). It is a full-time programme extended in three specialisations. The duration of the programme is three years. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme at IFHE Hyderabad should fulfill the following eligibility criteria

BSc Admission Criteria

Eligibility

Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any discipline with English as a medium of instruction

(For Advanced Standing Admissions, candidates need BSc with 60% aggregate)

Diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution

Selection Criteria

Admission Test for IcfaiTech (ATIT) conducted by IcfaiTech (at least 50% score) and Availability of Seats

IFHE Hyderabad BSc Application Process 2022

IFHE Hyderabad application process for BSc is conducted in both online and offline modes. The aspirants of BSc should have met the basic eligibility for the programme set by the institution. The application fee for ATIT is INR 500, which is payable through Credit/ Debit Card (Visa/Master Card) or Internet Banking. For offline mode, the candidates can make the payment through a Demand Draft of INR 500 drawn in favour of “IFHE – IcfaiTech Prospectus Fee A/c 2022”. To apply for the desired specialisation offered under the BSc programme online, follow the step-wise IFHE Hyderabad application process demonstrated in the infographic below:

IFHE Hyderabad BSc+BTech Admission 2022

IFHE Hyderabad offers four Integrated First Degree Programmes (BSc+BTech) in a full-time mode. The medium of instruction for all the programs at IcfaiTech is English. The table below presents the admission related details of these programmes:

ICFAI University Hyderabad Review.

Placements: The placements in my college is good as I’ve seen multiple people and close connections get selected in multiple companies. The highest package was 36 Lacs per annum, and the average package was around 4 Lacs per annum. The top role for someone in my course would be a data analyst or a data scientist.

Infrastructure: The facilities of ICFAI University is top notch with a huge campus of around 99 acres with multiple libraries and auditoriums. Every sport facility is available to use at any given time, and the state of the art classrooms. The mess and the canteen are very clean and offer very hygienic food. As for the students living in the hostel, it’s a very clean place with proper rules implemented so that everything flows smoothly.

Faculty: The faculty for my course so far has been amazing as I’ve learned so much from them. Every faculty member specializes in their field and explains the subject with such interest that every student can understand with ease. The course curriculum is relevant as it is a mixture of soft skills and hard skills to prepare us for the real world and professional setting. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and most students manage to pass.

Other: I chose B.Sc. Data Analytics as it’s one thing I was always interested in, and as the tech block in ICFAI University came up with this course newly, I had to choose it. It has definitely been worth it as there’s so much to learn and I’ve already learned a lot. One thing I wish they improved was the labs and the way the systems in the lab are used, as sometimes it’s extremely hard to use those computers as it crashes very often.

Good for B.Sc. with CS or DA, if you are looking for alternate options of B.Tech.

Placements: The highest package offer was to a B.Tech student of Rs. 40 lakh. I don't have any news about B.Sc., though, but everyone in B.Sc. gets two-month internships after a semester ends. That's a positive side of taking a B.Sc. I don't know about others but for B.Tech. students, internships start after a year.

Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi enabled, every class has modern infrastructure with good teaching equipment, and the overall value for B.Sc. students is that the fee isn't that high and the canteen food is okay—not too bad nor too good. Only basketball and volleyball courts are maintained and sports fests are very few.

Faculty: Although the faculty is experienced, I think they could improve. I face difficulties with some teachers, but we are offered mentors, so if we face any problems, we can seek solutions from them. I'll attach photos. The mentors are quite good, though that's the thing I love about it.

Other: The course is actually very good; we get to learn data science and artificial intelligence alongside C programming from the first semester only, so quite better, I can say.
