Placements: The college provides good and 100% placements. The college provides both domestic and international placement offers. Almost 100% of the students got placed from our batch and our senior batch who applied for campus placements. The highest salary package offered would be 47 LPA, and the average salary package offered would be 8 LPA.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. It depends totally on how students have performed in these four years. If they have performed worthily, it will be proportional to the placements. Students generally go for higher studies as they gain minimum knowledge through B.Tech.
Placements: The placements for this college is average. The average placement package for the students is 6-7 Lacs, depends upon students personal abilities and achievements in life. The college although provides the students with ample companies to sit for the placement.
Placements: The batch size was very large, thus, it is practically impossible to have 100% placements in such colleges. But the administration shows 100% placements. Not even 30-40% of the batch got placements from the college. The roles which students got were of sales.
Placements: Placements in our college were average. The lowest salary package offered was 2.3 LPA, and the highest was 4 LPA. Many startup companies visited the campus for placements. Some of them attended pool campus drives. Placements of our senior batch were not satisfactory. Only 3 to 4 companies were good to get placed, and all the other companies that visited here were the worst. One fake company also visited the campus for placements.
Placements: Our college provides great opportunities for IT and computer engineering course. Various companies visited our university for campus placements and recruited some of the students. Placements in the mechanical department are quite less as compared to other departments. Along with the studies, it also offers internship programs in well known and reputed multinational companies.
Placements: I completed my MBA in finance from form this college and got placed in Cognizant Technology Solutions as a senior research associate during the on-campus recruitment process. I am currently working in the same organisation in the investment banking financial research sector.
Placements: Placements in our college are decent enough. The highest salary offered in our college was 52 LPA, and it was offered by FMCG company named Tolaram. The average salary package offered was also good. It all depends on how you utilise the opportunities. You need to prepare yourself for placements as the batch size is huge.
Placements: Our college provides placements in well-reputed companies. Our seniors got placed very well, and the salary package offered is good. The main objective of the college is every student should leave the college with placements. Moreover, they should be happy with their company or salary package.
Placements: The college has a huge batch. But it guarantees 100% placed. Same is the case with internship offered to the first year students. The majority of the placements are in marketing and finance. Students also have been placed internationally in companies like Tolaram with CTC upto 55 lacs.
Placements: The college focuses on placements. But if you compare ROI with the average salary package offered, then it is low. Almost 80% of placements are in the marketing and sales field, and almost 20% placements in the finance sector. Almost 95% of the student got placed. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 11-12 LPA. Companies TCS, Infosys, Tolaram, De Shaw, HDFCBank, ICICI Prudential, Capital First, Genpact, ...
Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, I can say that IBS college is average by looking at the placement record of our senior batch. Though IBS says that the average salary package offered was 7 LPA, it is not true. The average salary package offered is around 6 to 6.5 LPA. In the prospectus, the highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, but a student doesn't get 16 LPA. He or she gets only around 7 LPA out of 16 LPA, but after a few years, the student gets 16 LPA. The college strength is aroun...
Placements: Placements in our college are below average. The placement cell is working hard to bring in good companies, but due to negative publicity and bad marketing strategies, they are unable to do so. However, around 60% of the students are getting placed every year. The main issue is the kind of roles being offered to students as it is almost menial. As far as the internships are concerned, the college provided good opportunities but in a limited number.
Placements: Batch size -1100 students Percentage of students placed -95% Average package-7.23 ctc Companies visiting the campus- JP Morgan, KPMG, HDFC, Deloitte, Goldman sachs, EY and many more premium companies. Roles offered- Analyst, Management Trainee, Manager, Financial advisor, financial executive, etc.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good for mechanical, civil, EEE and ECE branches, but it is a little good for CSE students. Hardly 4-5 companies have visited the campus in 2016 for the mechanical placement. In that only one company has selected 6 students and the rest left without recruiting any student. The company that selected 6 students offered the package of 2.4 LPA only which was less than our fee per year.
Placements: Placements in our college were below average. Companies like Cisco, Mindfire, Darkhorse, etc., visited the campus for placements but hired very few students from the batch. Only one student got selected for Cisco. The college tried to collaborate with other colleges for pool placements. Very few students got selected for technical roles, rest all got selected for non-technical roles. Senior batches had very few chances for on-campus placements.
Placements: The college is a newly established one, and our batch was only the third batch of this college. So the placements of this college are average, and the packages offered to computer science students were pretty low. However, students of the computer science department get placed easily as a considerable number of companies visit the campus for placements. I got a pre-placement offer in one of the government firms where I did my internship.
Placements: Placements for the electronics and communications batch were not satisfactory. However, for the computer science branch, placements were somewhat at parity. Somehow, students of the electronics and communications branch got placed in IT companies, but getting a job in the core field from campus was pretty difficult as there were barely any companies specifically for the core branch students.
Placements: Placements are a bit mixed for engineering. I'm not so sure about current placements, but for my placements were good for the computer Science branch but not up to the mark for core branches and I do not the think that the college is entirely to be blamed for it. As the placements in most of the engineering colleges is the same for core branches.
Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. For computer science and electrical and electronics branches, placements are good. But for mechanical and civil branches, it's not good. Very few companies visited the campus to recruit ME and CE students. Packages offered are not acceptable as it's very low, nearly 2.5 to 3.5 lacs per annum. Only 4-5 people got placed from civil and mechanical branches.
