IILM University Gurugram offers admission to courses either based on merit or entrance exam score. IILM Gurugram selects candidates for courses such as BTech, MBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB based on entrance exam scores. CUET-UG score is accepted for admission to BA LLB, BBA LLB, and some other UG courses. The university also accepts CUET-PG scores for MBA, LLM and MA.

For other courses, merit in the last qualifying exam is considered for admission. The university may also conduct personal interview round for admission to a few programmes.
