Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for MBA at IILM University?

    A:

A prospective applicant seeking admission to a postgraduate programme is required to hold a bachelor's degree from a university or institution recognised by the UGC or equivalent bodies. The degree should exhibit a minimum aggregate score of 50% or an equivalent grade, such as CGPA or CPI. This criterion ensures a foundational academic standard for candidates entering the postgraduate realm.

Notably, individuals in the final year of their bachelor's degree programme are also eligible to apply, with the condition that they can furnish the final year degree certificate and mark sheet later. However, it's crucial to emphasize that the admission for such candidates is provisional until they provide valid proof of passing the bachelor's degree examination with the stipulated percentage of marks before the prescribed last date.

A stringent policy is in place regarding the provisional admission, and failure to submit the required documentation by the specified deadline results in automatic withdrawal of admission, without any additional notice. This stringent approach is implemented to uphold academic integrity and ensure that admitted candidates meet the necessary qualifications, fostering a scholarly environment within the postgraduate program. The policy serves as a safeguard to maintain the academic standards and credibility of the institution, prioritizing the transparency and diligence of the admissions process.

Subsequently, the fee structure unfolds with a payment of Rs. 3,00,000 on June 2, 2022, signaling the commencement of the academic year.

As the academic calendar progresses, students encounter staggered payments to accommodate their financial obligations. Notably, the instalments on October 1, 2022, January 15, 2023, June 2, 2023, September 1, 2023, and December 15, 2023, each amounting to Rs. 1,52,000, provide a predictable financial roadmap.

Bad placement percentage, less than 50% students are placed.
Placements: The college helps students get jobs in good companies. Some students get high-paying jobs in Deloitte, KPMG, EY, but many get average ones and the average package is 5-6 LPA. The college helps students find jobs, but could do more to connect them with top companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of both campus and hostel is so-so. There is no in-campus hostel for boys, they have partnered up with a firm called Yourspace. The food was really bad, so we had to raise a complaint to change the food vendors. After some time, the new vendors deteriorated their food quality as well, and only veg food is available. No sports ground, only a basketball court that too is under maintenance. Medical practitioners on the campus take care of what medicine should be given to students.
Faculty: Faculty targets individual students. I'm not saying all of them are bad, but most of them are. The curriculum is ridiculous. If I don't wanna be an entrepreneur, why am I forced to study that? That too a compulsory course. No midterms were there, only assignments and PPTs. Overall, if you are a rich kid who wants to live a college life and have fun, then you're welcome here. Otherwise, find a better college.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the bad faculty.
Placements: Nothing much to talk about placements and internships during my time at IILM University. The placement cell was unresponsive and the placement percentage that they show on the site is fake. Their own faculty members said that the placement is less than 50%. You are on your own if you decide to get admission in this college.
Infrastructure: Really bad infrastructure. Hostellers need to pay for their electricity charges and the charges per unit are a whopping 12 rupees per unit AND an additional 10 rupees per day for maintenance. I mean, this is just nonsense. The college campus doesn't even have a ground, to be honest; no sports facilities; the faculty is bad; they target individuals for no apparent reason.
Faculty: The faculty is mostly inexperienced and all they do is target some selected individuals, basically torching them. Instead of midterms, the students need to do some weird assignments, which makes no sense. The faculty is not cooperative at all; this college is just for those who are born rich and are there to just enjoy their lives.

For placements wise it is not good but faculty members are experienced.
Placements: Our college is somewhat overhyped in terms of the placements. It is true that around 85-90% of the students gets placements but most of them are placed below 6 LPA. Only top 5-10% of students gets placements above 8 LPA. The highest ever offered package for our course is 16 LPA. Internships are offered to us from our 3rd term.
Infrastructure: Average facilities are offered if compared from the fee we paid. Like the building needs renovation, we have good classes but very limited seating capacity. Library is also available but the books have old editions. The mess and canteens offers us good quality food which are hygienic too. Some sports can be practiced only.
Faculty: Teachers have the experience of more than 10 years, however some of they are new in the field of teaching. We have to maintain 75% attendance in order to get to sit in exams and also eligible for placements. The course curriculum is in sync with current market needs.

If you're here for placement, then the opportunities are decent—not really high packages.
Placements: There are 450 students in the MBA 2024 batch of IILM Gurugram. The average package is 8 lakh and the lowest is 6 lakh. Top recruiters are Deloitte, BlackRock, PWC and many other big companies. 85% of students get placement and they offer roles like portfolio manager and departmental level of roles.
Infrastructure: The campus provides us with wifi facilities with good conditions. The classroom and library are quite small but it contain all the types of journal and books and they have two libraries and 3 cafeterias. They have in and out campus hostels for MBA 1st year; they have our campus hostel and they are providing transportation facilities to us. Apart from hostel and campus, they have a good number of clubs on campus. The clubs are conducting activities once a week.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They teach you in a very impressive manner and this course curriculum is really helpful in personality development and is making us industry-ready. They have a 2-credit course that is the CRP corporate readiness program and the students are mandated to have 75% attendance in every subject.
