Good college, average placements with awful administration.

Placements: Everyone in my class was placed. Some people had more than one offer. But the process of placements is slowly in favour of Delhi campus as everything is controlled from there. Consequently, students from Kolkata campus have a hard time in getting selected for companies where they would like to go. The administration is least concerned about getting everyone placed which makes the process dependent on the whims and fancies of the placement committee, controlled by students and subsequently nepot...

Good placements and curriculum

Placements: Placements were quite good. 100% placements in all domains. Companies like JP Morgan, Mahindra Group, Airtel, Vodafone, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Amazon, ITC, Loreal, Britannia, Deloitte and many other companies visited and recruited from IIFT.

It teaches you how to make the most of limited resources. Overall, a great experience.

Placements: Placements are subject to 'market risk'. PPOs are good, and summer internship is also good. It will depend on your past record- 10th and 12th marks, undergrad college brand, work experience (sometimes for good, sometimes for bad). The name is recognized within the industry and many roles are opened barring a few top roles from each domain (which are open only for IIM BLAC, XL, FMS). Having said that, final and summer placements are very random and sometimes things get dirty too. Don't expect any...

One of the best and amongst the top 10 B-schools to do MBA.

IIFT, one of the top 10 B-schools in India.

Placements: One of the best B-schools in India with four students getting a final placement offer of upwards of a crore rupees per year during the final placements for the previous batch. The final placements for the batch of 2015-17 were a big success with 100% of the batch being placed and having an average package of more than Rs. 18 lakh per annum. The campus was visited by major trade firms like Trafigura, Olam International and TGI while sales and marketing were represented by major FMCG giants like I...

Great B-School with stellar placements, infrastructure and faculty!!!

Placements: 100% placements. IIFT has consistently been garnering record placements, both domestic as well as international offers. The overall batch strength is pretty low as compared to other B-Schools of similar prestige, which gives IIFT an edge over the others. The placements for both Delhi and Kolkata are held jointly. The best global brands recruit from IIFT, both for summers as well as for finals. IIFT is a brand which is more than 50 years old, and it has a huge credibility attached to it. All this...

It is an amazing B-School with finest professors. Infrastructure is bit lacking in terms of space but apart from that everything else is great. Placements are good. In top 10 B schools of India, it in the premium category. It specialises in international business.

I am a student of MBA (IB) at Indian Institute of Trade. It is one of the best MBA College in India. We have a very structured course and the faculty is amazing. The college focuses on the practical learning through the corporate competitions, live projects and guest lectures from the industry specialists. Also, the best of brands come for placements. Not just the academics but also a lot of extra-curricular activities are there. Though a very beautiful campus in the heart of Delhi, infrastructu...

Great college to get a cutting edge MBA degree from. At par with IIMs. The Faculty is good, exposure is great, top recruiters’ lineup for placements. If you are looking for international internships and jobs with some of India's best MNCs, don't think twice, tougher to get into than IIMs. Based on aspirants to selected students ratio, IIFT offers a great time for students with a limited batch size and industry recognized guest lecturers which provide students with exposure and insights into the ...

Trade and Economics courses can get repetitive. Offers Masters and not Diploma unlike IIMs and some other institutions Batch quality: A good mix of students in the batch in terms of demography, work experience and personality.
