IIPS is the best institute for population studies and research purposes.

Placements: This college is for research purposes, but in previous years, the placement rate has increased, and most professors have projects. Talented students get jobs before leaving the college. For MBD (master's of science in biostatistics and demography) pharma companies come here like Phyzer and many more. IIPS's Alumni Association is strong.

Researchers Institute with extreme opportunities.

Placements: It's basically a research institute, most of the student wish to go for Ph.D. As such there are few companies recruiting, but after studying here I can say that one can get job easily. On an average 5 Lacs package is offered. Roles can be data analyst, epidemiologist, demographer.

The CMAT cutoff for IMS or IIPS DAVV Indore is generally 90 percentile or above. Therefore, I don't think you would get admission there but there are many good B schools where you can apply. Consider them as well.
