Brief report on IIIT Bhubaneswar and why I'm disappointed.

Placements: According to the recent report of the last 7th semester, the highest package received was 26.5 LPA from the Computer Engineering branch and the highest package from CSE stands at 19 LPA, although there have been rumors that one student may have gotten 59 LPA from CSE in the 8th semester. According to the 7th semester report, around 140 students were placed out of around 350 students. The top recruiter for the past few years has been Oracle.

I reviewed my college 3 out of 5 Faculty 4/5 placement were decent from 2015.

Placements: About 90% of students were placed in our college. The highest and lowest packages are about 30 LPA and 10 LPA. The top companies visited on our campus were Oracle, Amazon, and Media.Net, Zscaler, and Dell. About 50% or more of students were placed in our college.

Go for IITs and top NITs.

Placements: In my course, most of the students get placed based on their skills and efforts. The highest package was 30 LPA which was offered by Mind Tree and it was Off Campus. The lowest was 4 LPA in a service based company. Average is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters are Oracle, Infosys with Dell as the mass recruiter. But from this year, i.e. 2022, Microsoft will start hiring from our college. Placement stats for this year have not been announced by our college, but as per my knowledge, 7-8 students from my cour...

I am very satisfied with the campus infrastructure and placements.

Placements: We had a salary package of 87 LPA last year and 44 LPA the year before that. Placements are not that good. We get an average salary package of around 7 LPA. Many top-tier companies visit the college, but they recruit only a few students.

IIIT Bhubaneswar college review: pros and cons.

Placements: 90+ Percent of students were placed. The highest package was around 28 Lacs while the lowest was around 4-5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Siemens, Tekoin, Browser Stack, Dell. The internship was offered only by Dell and was given to very few students. There is a chance that in future a lot more companies will provide internships, even though Amazon came to offer internships.

Not upto the brand of IIIT.

Placements: 90% of the students were placed in the IT branch. The highest package was near 20-22 LPA provided by the college placements. Companies like Tekion, Yellow AI, are one of the top recruiters for the college. The average package is around 4.5 to 5 LPA. Internship and PPO were offered by Dell for third-year students and only 5-6 students are selected.

Review of IIIT Bhubaneswar - International Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: The placements are not that great. The average placement package is around 4.5 LPA, and the placement rate is around 70% on campus. The highest package offered on campus is 11 LPA (2021 pass out). Due to COVID-19, 18-22 batch got internship opportunities from only 1 company, and only 20 were selected for it.

It is a good college but needs more improvement.

Placements: Almost 90% of computer engineering seniors got placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Infosys and Mindtree. I am not at all satisfied because I am in EEE branch.

Placements: EEE is a core branch, and there is no use of being in a core branch in this college. There are very few students in this college. Around 30% of students got placed from this branch as college is not providing must importance to this branch, but they are taking an equal amount of money for placement purpose. The highest salary package offered is 7.65 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.65 LPA. This branch students are not at all allowed to sit in all the companies, and no core branch ...

Good for IT and CSE but not so good for EEE.

Placements: I am from 2010-14 batch of B.Tech. From my batch around 65-70% of Students GOT placed. The highest salary offered was 11L per Annum and the lowest was 2.4L per Annum. The average was 4L per annum. Top recruiting companies were Samsung, Sankalp Semiconductor, Infosys, IBM GBS, Cognizant, ITC Infotech, etc. Most of the students didn't prefer internships. In my batch most of the students GOT absorbed in software Companies, so given a Developer job.

Small campus, poor quality of faculty, average placements, but improving.

Placements: The placements of our batch took a back seat as some MNC companies who had visited to hire our senior batches chose to skip our college this time. But the placement in our junior batch has improved. From my batch, 80% of the students were placed. Dell offered the highest package of 6.5 LPA. The lowest package was offered 2.8 LPA. The average salary offered was 4 LPA. The companies like Infosys, ITC, IBM, Dell, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, etc. visited the campus. The associate software engineer was ...

The college could not provide due justice to the kind of teaching expected.

Placements: So to speak about our branch placement, not even a single core electrical company, neither private nor government came for the campus recruitment. There was no scope of getting referred by the college to any industry for the job. Mostly, IT companies visited our college for the campus recruitment. 3.5Lakh CTC was the package offered for most of the students. Around 60% of the students were placed in the IT companies.

Pretty bookish education, placement being the only solace.

Placements: The placements were pretty decent. Exactly 10 recruiters (top MNCs) visited our campus and also we got off campus placement invites from 3 other recruiters. So, the placement week which lasted for around 2 months resulted in the placement of around 80 percent of our batch. The lowest salary on offer was 2.4 lacs, the highest being 12 lpa (one student got it, considering his total performance-based earning potential). And, the average salary stood at around 4 lpa (approx.). The roles on offer we...

Good place for learning something new.

Placements: About ninety five percent of students have got placements from top recruiting companies like TCS, INFOSYS, VISA, DELL etc. The highest package is around 16 Lacs through off campus drive and the lowest is around 2.7 LPA. Internship opportunities are less comparatively.
