Jigyasa University BSc Courses & Fees 2024: Admission, Eligibility, Seats, Placements

If a candidate withdraws the admission before the last date of admission, he/she is eligible to get a fee refund after deducting the non-refundable admission/regsitration fee. The applications for admission withdrawal must be submitted in prescribed format to the registrar before the last date of admission. The last date of admission falls tentatively in August. Candidates submitting the withdrawal application after the last date will not get any refund.  A candidate admitted to the university by default but later found ineligible or unfit, is not entitled for the fee refund or any other compensation by the university. Such admissions will be cancelled by the university at their disretion.

At Jigyasa University, BSc is offered in three specialisations. Applicants can choose their desired sepcialisation while applying for admission. The course duration, fees and eligibility criteria vary across these specialisations. The three BSc specialisations offered at the university are as follows:

To be eligible to pursue BSc at Jigyasa University, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the university. The eligibility criteria differ across the BSc specialisations offered at the university. For BSc (Hons) in Agriculture, the eligibility criteria require the applicants to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in PCB/PCM/Agriculture stream with minimum 45% aggregate. For BSc in Clinical Research, the minimum aggregate required in Class 12 is 50%.

Jigyasa University fees comprise various components such as registration fees, security deposit, hostel fee, mess fee, etc. The tuition fee payable across the entire duration of BSc at Jigyasa University ranges between INR 2.4 Lacs and INR 3 lakh. The exact amount of fee depends upon the chosen specialisation. Students must also pay a one-time fee of INR 10,000 at the time of admission. It is not very hard to get a seat for BSc at Jigyasa University. This is because the admission and selection process for the course is relatively simple. There is no entrance exam for BSc admission at the university. The college accepts direct admission based on the applicants' merit in Class 12.
