MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam which is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT which can be taken by candidates from an exam centre as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September and December which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as MBA Admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam as per their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted on Nov 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on Jul 30, 2024. Yes, the placement and counselling cell of the University of Kota was formed with a vision to educate, enrich, empower, and enhance the employability of its students. The cell invites companies related to marketing, software, chemicals, builders, and other recruiters to be a part of the placement process. The placement cell has been constantly working in coordination with its faculties, external advisors, and recruiters. The placement office serves to bridge the gap between a job aspirant and a prospective employer and, at the same time, helps the students plan their careers by providing in-depth information about the industries that approach the university. The university provides an environment for holistic personality development.

Class 12 in the Science stream with a minimum of 48% aggregate is the basic eligibility for BSc at Kota University. Candidates belonging to states outside of Rajasthan need a minimum of 60% aggregate to be eligible.
