Q:   Can I join MMMUT Gorakhpur directly?
A: 

No, direct admission in MMMUT is not possible. This autonomous university give admission on the basis of scores obtained in entrance examinations. All the seats of B.Tech is filled on the basis of JEE Main score, for BBA and B.Pharm you have to qualify CUET UG, to get admission in all the PG courses except M.Tech you should qualify CUET PG, and for M.Tech, admissions are given on the basis of GATE or Malaviya Entrance Test (MET) score. After entrance examination subsequent rounds of online counselling is done so as to get branch accordingly your rank secured . According to the rank obtained by the student, the seat is allotted without any biasing. Thus, you have to work hard to get into MMMUT Gorakhpur.

Q:   What is the seat intake for MBA at MMMUT Gorakhpur?

At MMMUT, students can study a two-year MBA course. This  course is affiliated with AKTU and taught by the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) respectively. The total seat intake for MMMUT MBA courses is 75. Admission in this course is given on the basis of CUET (PG) score or Malaviya Entrance Test (MET) which is conducted by MMMUT itself. There are some eligibility criterias also to get admissionn into this which includes  that the candidate should have passed  from the recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognised by UGC with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category).

Q:   What is the fees for studying at MMUT for B.Tech course?
A: 

The fee for studying at MMMUT for BTech course is INR 91300 for the 1st year (in 1st semester ) for a day scholar or non-hosteller student, it increases to INR 1,15,600. For a hosteller student (a security fee is also included in it that is refundable after the completion of the course). After 1st year (in 3rd semester) the fee is reduced to INR 82,900 for a non-hosteller and INR 102200 for a hosteler. Also, for a detailed fee structure, you can go to the official website of MMMUT.

MMMUT Gorakhpur BTech admission process is entrance-based. Candidates are admitted based on merit in JEE Main, conducted by NTA. The aspirants of MMMUT BTech (Lateral) course can apply with a valid score of CUET. Further, candidates fulfilling the course-specific eligibility criteria can apply by filling out the MMMUT counselling application form. In this application, candidates can enter their choices and lock them. Following this, the seat allotment is carried out based on the filled in choices. Q:   When can I apply for the CUET exam?

National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2026 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. Best college for Civil Engineering .
Placements: I am from the Civil department, and there are two sections with 85 students in each. Honest placement of core branches is not too good, and only a few companies visit the campus for the core branch. The academic atmosphere. And the faculty is too good and supportive, especially for GATE or other government job preparation, so the core branches are good from a government job point of view, but not corporate. The lowest package of civil is 2LPA last year, and the average is around 5LPA for core branches and 7.8LPA for CSE and It branches. L&T is the best company.
Infrastructure: Hostel conditions for 2nd year students are poor. Though for other years, students are okay. Quality of food is fine as the vendors are from Haldiram. Wi-Fi is available in hostels and classes or in the department. Infrastructure is okay with a lot of greenery.
Faculty: Faculty are very helpful in core branches, especially the Civil Branch, which is well qualified and very supportive. They help personally, too, with the preparation for GATE or other exams. Course Curriculum is fully relevant. The civil semester exams are a little tough, but they help a lot in our assessment.
Other: In our passing out batch, approximately 30% students are placed, and 9 out of them have received a government job in the year of passing itself. I chose MMMut for its ROI. The attendance criteria are too strict for core branches, thats why some students cant get time for preparation of jobs other than for their course, which could be improved. Abhyudaya is the biggest college, or say, Purvanchal fest, with approximately a crowd of 10k people. A scholarship is provided to students depending on their income and category. For general, approximately 50k OBC, 60k, and sc st 90k.

MMMUT B.Tech. (Information Technology) review.
Placements: Around 80 per cent of students are getting placed every year. Around 6 LPA is the average package for all the tech software placements, especially for CSE and IT branches. The highest package offered was 59 LPA in the year 2025-26, provided by the company UBER. The highest package has gone to the IT branch senior. Many top companies came here, like IBM, TCS, L&T, etc. Some students also get their internship and PPO offers before placement on the basis of their own skills. The top roles offered in my IT course are Full Stack Web Developer, AI Engineer, Data Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is well and good. Not very bad. In fact, this year it is getting better. Now, all the lecture classrooms are fully air-conditioned with smart screens installed along with speakers. The facilities provided were good. The hostel is also getting better nowadays. First-year students are allotted Tagore, Vishweshwaraya, Tilak and Savitri Bai Phule Bhawan hostels. All the hostels are very safe and excellent. The mess food quality is also awesome. Medical facilities are also provided to every person. Various types of sports and games facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers and all faculty members are well qualified, and some of them are very helpful with anything. They are very knowledgeable and they take regular classes. The teaching quality is also okay. The course curriculum of IT is relevant. It also makes the students industry-ready, as they give proper knowledge of C programming, DSA, SQL, Python, Blockchain, etc. The semester exams are average. One can easily clear it by studying a little every day. Almost all students are gaining good marks except for some of them.
Other: Abhyudaya is the annual cultural and literary festival. Techsrijan is the annual technical fest. Innowizion is the annual innovation fest of MMMUT and various others.

Overview of MMMUT Gorakhpur.
Placements: About 60-70% of students get placed, others go for higher studies, or some with very bad academic records don't get placed. The average package is not that high. But placement records are getting better with every upcoming batch. This year, we get over 1000 placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not that great, need maintenance and renovation. Infrastructure of the department is above average. Lecture halls for first year and second year are fully air-conditioned, and those that are not are also expected to be by the end of 2025.
Faculty: Teachers are okay but mostly you will have to rely on self-study. With little and consistent effort, one can do well in exams. Teachers are very well learned but they will help you only if you show interest otherwise, they are just going to take lectures and be on their way.

Good placement in 2025. It is a well-reputed university.
Placements: Currently, I am studying in the 3rd year of Selection and Communication Engineering (Internet of Things), and we are the first batch in this branch. The first placement from this branch will happen in 2027. After that, I will provide details about the placement of seniors in this branch.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available, Wi-Fi is available 24 hours, both in the lecture room and in the hostel. All classrooms have digital boards, along with AC. Classrooms are good, with fans, AC, proper ventilation, and digital boards. The library is also good, with almost all the books present that are in the syllabus. The food is average, not the best, not bad.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They help with every doubt regarding lectures, projects, and placement-related issues. The ECE IoT branch is good, and its curriculum is also good. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is more than 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I got it. This course is very good. Events and fests are good.

Good infrastructure and environment. The facilities for the studies are good.
Placements: Average package of this college is 7.95 LPA, which is good but that not much good enough if a student want more higher package then he should develop his own skills and join the company through his efforts as college will not provide you that much, but and colleges there are some benefit and which gives up to 16 LPA to 18 LPA package for better placements. You should watch for campus placements, as there is no limit to the package, as you know.
Infrastructure: Quality of this hostel rooms is good for those who not belongs to that city or up to 50 km is to take a hostel room it's not that much good but it is more good enough to make sure that you live a good and better life, so I think student should take hostel rooms in colleges as well as their communications and other perspective should be change.
Faculty: There are teachers who are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good enough to make sure that you understand more efficiently and thoroughly. The course that you are studying is relevant to the students' industry, so what you are going to study in this course is helpful. The semester exams, which are held in our college, are the same as everywhere.
