Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2027

A decent college with an excellent campus life and study culture.
Placements: According to seniors, students who passed in the year 2023, out of 60 students 23 offers were made, and 7 offers were accepted. Most companies were in sales and marketing domain. The salary packages vary from 3 LPA-8 LPA (variable). Roles offered were business development sales, marketing executive, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are excellent, with a capacity of 150, fully air-conditioned, and smart class facilities. Wi-Fi is available on campus. Library has both air-conditioner and non-air-conditioner sections and a digital library as well. However, hostel facilities are poor. The quality of food and taste are quite poor.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and supportive, with good course structure. Course is well-organized with practical subjects regular expert lectures of industry experts, and seminar report presentations. Overall, pass percentage is 40%. There is 1 major exam and 1 minor exam, with a marks distribution of 50 and 30, plus 20 marks for internal exams.
Other: Great campus life with a lot of dedicated students. There are proper sports facilities available. Fests are good, with more than 6-7 events and all are very exciting and enjoyable. Scholarships for all students are provided by the State Government. The best thing about the college is its excellent alumni network.

Overall the college is decent. Students can try this college if they do not get into other colleges.
Placements: Placements are decent at this college. Students should have good coding skills to get good campus placements. Placements in the core are nearly impossible, so students should do GATE or any civil services exam preparation to get jobs in it. This college has a good alumni network.
Infrastructure: The condition of hostels is not very good. Students get Wi-Fi at hostels and the college. Classrooms for the first year are good. They are not good for other years. The food provided in the mess is decent. Every facility in this college is available
Faculty: Faculty members are the only thing in which we can appreciate them. However, our guest faculty members are more than professors. Professors are good. They have good knowledge. They teach very well. Exams are conducted very well in this college. I give 4 stars for this.
Other: Fests and the campus crowd are decent in this college.

Comprehensive insight and honest opinion of my college.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in civil engineering was around 23–30%. The highest package offered was 6.65 LPA by L&T and the lowest package offered was around 2.5 LPA by a Geotech firm in Noida. Top recruiting companies for civil engineers are L&T and ABG for the roles of Graduate Trainee Engineer.
Infrastructure: The departments are well-equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure to support students academic and practical learning needs. High-speed internet access is available throughout the campus, as is access to a digital library for up-to-date research and study.
Faculty: The faculty members had advanced degrees and extensive experience in their respective fields, ensuring a deep understanding of the subjects they taught. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect the latest advancements and trends in civil engineering, ensuring that the students learn current best practices and technologies. The difficulties of semester exams vary, but they are generally designed to test a thorough understanding of the material, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The pass percentage is generally around 70–80%.
Other: An interest in building infrastructure and creating sustainable design, the opportunity to contribute to community development and improve public facilities, and a wide range of career options in both the public and private sectors.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

Comprehensive facilities with room for improvement. Balanced campus life at MMMUT.
Placements: Madan Mohan Malaviya offers Electronics and Communication Engineering with a specialization in the Internet of Things, which is a new branch starting with the 2023 batch. In B.Tech, there are some top recruiting companies like Amazon, TCS, Adobe, Infosys, and many more. The placement record in the B.Tech course is average. The placement rate is 60-70%.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and well-equipped with projectors and smart boards. Wi-Fi is available 24X7. There is no limit to using Wi-Fi. The central library is well-stocked with textbooks. Students can borrow books to read in the hostel. The university offers separate offers for boys and girls with rooms typically shared by 2-4 members. Rooms are basic but sufficient with essential features like beds, chairs, tables for study, and wardrobes. The quality of the food is decent, but students may sometimes face problems.
Faculty: All professors are good and qualified. There is also a loophole in that the most of guest faculty do not have knowledge of many topics. They are not as good as professors. The curriculum is very good and follows very strictly. If students' attendance is not above 75%, they will not be able to attempt the exam. The passing percentage is good. Semester exams are quite tough enough. The maths exam is up to the GATE level.
Other: As of my batch it is good but there are some students who have a very low CGPA and my branch is new so most of the students are exploring it.

Review of Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology.
Placements: Placement opportunities are average. If we pursue Computer Science and Engineering, we can secure a salary package of 5 LPA-6 LPA. However, there are always exceptions; one of the seniors secured a salary package of around 40 LPA off-campus. So, it's worth giving it a try.
Infrastructure: Hostels are quite below average. The condition of hostels is very poor because they are old. They are not properly managed and maintained.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is good, but also quite average. Some of them cooperate with you, and some of them don't, so they are average. The preparation for the exams can be done with YouTube and books. Reference teachers are not good.
Other: Campus life is good; one can make a lot of memories. There are lots of societies, and most cultural events are organized in our college. So, we don't get bored in college.

This college is only for rich students, and middle-class students cannot afford it.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 43 Lacs, the average salary package offered is 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and L&T. I'm not aware how many students secured internships, but it is less than 10%. Top role offered in our college is a trainee.
Infrastructure: Library is available, but for very less hours, from 6 AM-8 PM, and it is not available overnight. Senior students also use library. Wi-Fi is available, we need to fill undertaking to access it. The quality of food is average. Sports facilities are not available for 1st year students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but because of few students, they are unable to teach properly. This year, some changes have been made to the syllabus. It focuses mostly on theory instead of practicals. We are only required to write notes, and there is no equipment available for practical work. Semester exams are very difficult, with strict checking. Previous year, about 300 students failed in Engineering Mathematics.
Other: I chose this course because based on my rank only this college was available and I wanted to take admission in government-funded universities. The best thing about our course is that it will have more jobs in future. Things that need to be improved include having more practical sessions rather than focusing mainly on theory. Fests are only for seniors, and they can be very destructive.
