Q: How can I register myself with the bar? I have already completed my LL.B. few years ago from Rohilkhand University.

Dear aspirant, Any candidate who has completed his/ her law graduation (3-year or 5-year integrated LLB programme) from the academic year 2009-10 onwards, need to qualify the AIBE certification exam in order to practice in a court of law in India. Now one requirement for appearing in the AIBE exam is that the candidate must be enrolled (or registered) as an advocate with a State Bar Council. As part of the state bar council enrollment process, the candidate has to go to their respective Bar Council website and get enrolled online; however, if online enrollment option is not available, the candidate has to visit the council premises in person, obtain the enrollment form upon payment of a fee, duly fill and submit it. It is one of the best colleges.

Placements: Our college provides placement in LL.B. Generally, students go for higher studies or judiciary exams. Our college has a placement cell. Students get placed in law firms with practicing advocates. A few students get placed in companies as well in the legal department. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. Our hostel rooms are spacious, and 3 students can accommodate in a single room. A personal bed is provided for every student. The food served in the hostel is good. They provide a variety of food items and the menu changes every week.

Faculty: There are more than 1000 students in the entire faculty of law. Almost all professors are Ph.D. holders in law. Their teaching method is advanced. They provide us with separate material for reading. Exams are conducted as per semester wise.

Other: I opted for this course because I was interested in it.

It is a good college that provides average placements, and poor location.

Placements: A huge number of students got placed in degrees of bachelor of technology and bachelor of commerce. In other degrees, the placement rate is not so good. Top recruiting companies include mass recruiters like Infosys and TCS. Top roles offered in our course were of legal associates in private firms.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was quite large. The college expands over many acres. It is well developed and well maintained also the facilities provided were good. The mess and canteen served good food. Medical facilities were developed.

Faculty: Teachers and professors in our college were quite helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was also fine. The course curriculum needs to be changed and modified as it was quite outdated and old. The college makes students industry-ready.

Other: It was an average college. I chose it because of the low fees. Events were held quite regularly, and scholarships provided were good to students. Extracurricular activities were not well developed. They need to be well maintained as it was a government college.

Overall, I would rate 3.5 for the performance of the college.

Placements: The placement programme is conducted many times in a year. So I recommend taking admission in this college for a better future. I have completed my B.Com, and now I am pursuing LL.B. from this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well-maintained and very wider. There is a proper playground, and a medical college is also available here.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated and take the class daily. Most of the faculty members perform their duty very well, but some of them don't as it is a government college. It is common for every college.

Other: Overall, the college rating is good because the fees structure is not so high.
