Honourable Justice UU Lalit, former Chief Justice of India, attended the occasion as the Guest of Honour, bringing lustre to the proceedings.

In his Presidential Address, the venerable Sh. Ram Nath Kovind recalled fond encounters with Justice Lahoti, highlighting his noble soul and profound impact. Talking about Justice RC Lahoti, he said “Seldom do we come across persons, such as Justice Lahoti, who is known for his commitment towards judicial independence, integrity, deep humility in expressing his views and in upholding the rule of law. He showed a deep sense of tolerance and dignity that all of us could practice in our daily lives.

Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions & Chancellor of MRU, echoed the sentiment of historic significance.“It is a historical moment for the School of Law at Manav Rachna University - inauguration of a lecture series that commemorates one of the most celebrated legal luminaries of the country. The series will prove to be a fantastic opportunity for learning and I urge all the law students to absorb as much as they can from this platform to use it for the greater good.

Dr. Archana Mantri, daughter of Hon'ble (late) Justice RC Lahoti offered heartfelt reflections on the profound legacy associated with her esteemed father. “Justice Lahoti had a thirst for learning about different subjects, especially technology which he believed would be a game changer for the field of law”, she said.

Justice UU Lalit presented reflections on the Judicial discourse of Hon'ble Justice RC Lahoti and said, “There's no denying that Justice Lahoti was an institution unto himself. His courtroom interactions were not just about imparting justice but also about establishing precedents which will be applicable and acceptable to the entire community for years to come.”

The words of Prof. (Dr.) Deependra Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor of MRU resonated with reverence as he highlighted Justice Lahoti's foundational contributions to legal education, including the establishment of the Law Advisory Board and the Ratan Lal Lahoti Library of Law.

This intellectual odyssey not only celebrates the towering legacy of Justice R.C. Lahoti but also serves as a testimonial to the profound ethos espoused by the Hon'ble Shri R.C. Lahoti himself – a fervent champion of equity and probity.

Overall, the course fee is too high.

Placements: Placements are only available for some fields like food tech, but students who opted for sports nutrition, public health, and clinical have very good placements and good opportunities for internships. Students have to be sharp and knowledgeable in their studies to get a good package job.

Manav Rachna University goes beyond academics to focus on the holistic development of its students.

Placements: At least 75-85% of students got jobs from placements. The highest package offered to a student from an MNC was about 55 LPA, and the lowest package was 8 LPA. The average package offered to us is 10-12 LPA, and all the students got internships from my course. The top role offered in my course is Senior Head of Software Development.

Manav Rachna is overrated and expensive.

Placements: The highest package offered in 2023 was 54 LPA. The highest stipend was 2 lacs per month. The top companies were Amazon, HCL, Samsung, Nokia Federal Bank and Manav Rachana University itself. 30% students were placed in my course and the lowest was 30,000 per month.

Outdated and irrelevant engineering curriculum.

Placements: Placement record was around 80-85% in Manav Rachna University and mostly everyone got placed on onsite placement drive. The issue was with the quality of the jobs offered and the salary packages. The average salary offered for engineering students was 4.2 LPA and the highest reaching 10.5 LPA. Companies like HCL, coforge private limited, Amadeus solutions, TCS come for placement drives. I got an offer to join coforge as a technical analyst with a probation period of 3 months. The stipend offered...

Review of MRIIRS by a BBA student.

Placements: The highest package offered was around 30 LPA CTC. Recruitment companies for my course are HP, WIPRO, HCL, BSE INSTITUTE, etc. Around 20 students got placement from my course in the above-mentioned companies. Many of them started their own businesses or continued their family business. Roles offered in my course are Assistant Manager, Aiding Supervisors, Manager, and HR Manager Assistant.

Good ROI for a private college, dissatisfied by the crowd.

Placements: Almost 100% students are placed with the companies who sit for the campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, etc. visit for recruiting candidates. The CGPA to be maintained to sit for placements is 6.5, although some good companies may have their own cutoff. The average package in CSE is 8-9 LPA and the highest being 57 LPA is pretty solid for a private college.
