Infrastructure: Hostels provided are as per the market research. Hostel facilities are very neat and clean. Staff members are disciplined. Food served is very hygienic and organic.
Faculty: Examinations conducted in our college don't pressurise students, but they are demanded to be satisfied and get first rank in the exam. Teachers are friendly and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. The curriculum activities make students ready for the future. Semester exams are challenging if students do not study. As the teaching staff is helpful and intelligible, students learn effortlessly. I got a good rank.
Other: I chose MBA in financing because of my interest in working in banks. I have roots in the banking industry with Maths, accounting, and banking interests.

MBA in Business Analytics - Batch of 2026

Manipal : A must-take experience
Placements: As I am currently the student there, so some of my seniors got placed in the MBA ( Business Analytics ) course. The highest and lowest and the average package they offered was in range between 7 - 8 LPA, 2.5 - 3.5 LPA and 5 - 6 LPA respectively. There are many top recruiting companies for this role in MANIPAL. Some of them are - Deloitte, Accenture, Flipkart, EY, Microsoft, Infosys etc. In my scenario, about 6.5% students got internship from this course in the companies like Flipkart, Microsoft and Infosys. Top roles offered in this course may vary depends on the candidates area of knowledge still I would like to tell some of the roles are - Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Risk Analyst, Financial Analyst and many more.
Infrastructure: We cannot doubt on the ambiance of Manipal. The infrastructure includes up-to-date amenities such as 24/7 wi-fi availability for students, free library access, mess and canteen facility for hostellers, separate laboratories for each subject, there's a medical room also for emergency cases under observance of multiple health specialists. Many cultural programs and ceremonies celebrate throughout the year in the campus, which keeps student motivated towards the university. There are many sports facilities for the interested students with many games like - hockey, chess, cricket, badminton and so on. The sports teacher helps us in practices post classes for Olympics and athletics. So if we talk about quality of overall campus and the university is top notch.
Faculty: The teachers at Manipal university are helpful, subject- oriented and having good command in their particular subjects. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes the student industry ready for upcoming years. The semester exams in this college are quite challenging but fair and ensures the students are tested appropriately. The pass percentage may vary depends on the student and the subject but it also depends on the semester.
Other: I chose this course because in the upcoming years, the scope of this course is about to go on peak or we can say it's going to be a high- demanding course in the top companies or MNC's in the next 4 to 5 years. The best things about this course are many but I personally noticed one of them is the knowledge of overall business and its requirements, management and implementation. As a analyst, not only we can understand a specific area of a business moreover the whole business and its specifications, requirements, benefits, loses, implementation and so on. With this course we gain technical knowledge too with the non-technical also the financial knowledge. One thing, I wish would be better if the fee or this course decreases or the campus cell should offer scholarships so that the students who are facing financial crisis and can't afford the high paying courses also find interests in this course and in this university, can also be a part of this course and take advantage of it. There are many events and festivals celebrated in the campus, the crowd of the campus is diverse and lively and creating a vibrant atmosphere for students. Everything is good in the campus - motivating surroundings, talent hunting competitions and so much extracurricular activities held there.

One of the best colleges to do MBA.
Placements: The students were eligible for placement in the 2nd year of their course. Usually, the final placements started in the last semester at XLRI. During the previous year's placement, 99 companies visited the campus and offered 437 offers to students. 100% students were placed, with the average package of 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility was really good, with all the students getting an individual room for themselves. The rooms were quite spacious and bright, and cleaning was also done regularly. The mess was also good with good quality food. Both veg and non veg meals were available. Library was there in the college campus. Wi-Fi facility was also available.
Faculty: Having work experience in the marketing domain for the previous 2 years, I chose this course as it gave me flexibility to change the domain, to cover all around business development in the first year. It provided the freedom to choose your specialisation in the second year. The term exams were scheduled every 3 months and the difficulty of exams was moderate to hard.

It is a good college, with good faculty, average fee structure and good placements.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students got placed in our course. The faculty are good, but the only thing lacking is the response time which is quite high, plus the fee structure is also a bit higher. The fee is around 1.44 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi is available for us. We didn't go to the labs, but labs are available. The classrooms are good and clean and up to today's standards in terms of technology. The library is good. The hostel has all the necessary facilities. The food available is good.
Faculty: The teachers are good and well-qualified. The teaching quality is good too. The course is relevant. Exams are quite good. The difficulty level is good. It tests the abilities of students. The pass percentage is around 40%, but students can easily score up to 70-75%.

Great college to study, learn and excel.
Placements: I belong to 2019-21 Batch. 40% of my batch are looking for jobs as of Feb 2022 (I. e. 8 months after graduation). Most of the roles offered through campus placements are very basic ones. Many companies which came to hire MBA students have also hired B.Tech students with 1-2 Lacs package difference (annual package). This is because many companies which came to hire belong to ed-tech category which hire Business Development profiles. A Bank has hired 15 students at 3.5 LPA package (in-hand salary per month comes to around 25k with bonus at the year end). A HR company hired a person at 7.5 L package and she quit her job within 2 months due to toxic work culture. Two companies came to hire but it turns out they were not regularly paying salaries to their employees. When a student complained about this, placement cell told the student that "it is student responsibility" to do research. I worked as a student placement coordinator and haven't heard of 70% of the company names which came for final campus placements. Around 5 students got very good jobs but 4 of them got jobs through off-campus on their own (I am one of them). The best campus placement was offered by KPMG (Big 4) where they hired a student from our batch and it was great role/decent package for which they hired. I felt very happy to see a Big 4 company coming to the campus and hiring. Placement training was quite disappointing. Less than 10 sessions were hosted. No mock interviews, no proctored aptitude tests, no final placement resume prep guidance etc. Internships were quite good. One student got internship at Reserve Bank of India, I & a batchmates of mine got internship at IIFCL (Central government. PSU). Many decent companies came for internships. University has put great good efforts to bring good internships. Our juniors got internships at RBI TATA Steel etc. When we got these great internship opportunities, all of us were quite happy and had great expectations for final placements. However, all our batch members (except the guy who got hired by KPMG) were very disappointed with quality and quantity of companies which came to hire. This is how I would rate the opportunities in terms of various profiles - Sales - 9/10 Marketing - 4/10 General Finance - 3/10 Core Finance - 0/10 HR - 3/10.
Infrastructure: Everything about the hostel is awesome. Hands-down the best campus I have ever seen and lived. I am a proactive person who loves to participate in various competitions. I visited 50+ college campuses across India but have never seen the vibe which I could get at Manipal University Jaipur campus. Just amazing. There is always one event (or) the other event which goes on. College is very supportive about students when it comes to extra curricular activities. I got sponsored by college to participate in various events. Faculty always encourage students to do well in life. Infrastructure and the vibe of the campus is simply great. All facilities are available. One of my favorite places of the campus is library. Such a nice place to go. The head librarian Mr. Shivraj is very supportive and coincidentally, he was also the chief librarian when I was doing engineering in another college. Sports, games, medical facilities, play grounds etc. Are all available to students. Hostel students can take maximum advantage compared to day scholars. There are Restaurants, Supermarkets, Salon, Laundry, Stationary etc. Within hostel. Lots of food outlets present. My favorite ones are Dominoes and Dev Sweets. I never miss out on these two places. Unfortunately our campus life came to an end due to pandemic and lockdown in 2020. After that, we never went back to the campus. I badly miss it! All our memories were short lived.
Faculty: I would rate course curriculum to be 3.5 out of 5. All the courses come with very strong fundamentals. In terms of basics, you won't find any course anywhere which can cover more than what you learn here. What's missing in the course structure are industry standard tools. Today as an MBA student, one needs to know at least few tools to get opportunities at Start-ups, MNCs, MSMEs etc. Tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python etc. Due to lack of tools in the curriculum, it is quite difficult to get any jobs for freshers. No serious placement training is another disadvantage. I learnt most of the above tools with online courses and they helped me to get decent opportunities in finance domain via off-campus. Faculty members are quite supportive. My favorite faculty is Dr. Anirvinna, our economics professor. I love all the courses taught by him as he blends Current Affairs into regular courses. He teaches with interest and passion. I followed all of his suggestions throughout my MBA which helped me in many ways. One of the reasons why I am doing well after MBA is because of him. I am forever thankful to him. My favorite courses are finance-Tech and Information Systems taught by our dean sir Dr. Sudhendar Hanumantha Rao. He blends Current Affairs within the course and provides amazing insights. I used to look forward to each and every class of his. The way he explains things is simply brilliant and awesome. Such an amazing person. He offered me help several times to get better opportunities for career.
Other: I chose to do MBA because it would add value to my profile. I am very thankful to the university for providing me merit scholarship. Personally, I am very happy with the university in all aspects (I am happy because I got very good opportunities off-campus and reached my end goals). If industry standard tools are part of curriculum, then the coursework will become strong and makes students more employable.

Placement Cell Success Rate for MBA/PGDM Students at Manipal University Jaipur

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of the placement cell's success rate:

* Around 80% of students got placed: This indicates a decent placement record, with a significant number of students being able to secure jobs after completing their MBA/PGDM program.

However, it is essential to note that the remaining 20% might face challenges in finding employment opportunities. Therefore, it's crucial to explore the reasons behind this disparity and identify areas where the university can improve its placement efforts.

Factors Contributing to Placement Success:

* Industry collaborations: With 34 industry collaborations, Manipal University Jaipur seems to have established strong relationships with prominent companies, leading to increased job prospects for students.

* Faculty expertise: Although some teachers may lack practical experience, approximately 65% of the faculty members hold a PhD, indicating a strong academic background.

Room for Improvement:

* Teaching methods: Some students mentioned that teachers rely heavily on PowerPoint presentations instead of providing practical learning experiences. This might impact the overall effectiveness of the placement process.

* Course curriculum: While the marketing stream's curriculum appears to align with industry requirements, concerns exist regarding the finance stream's relevance. Addressing these gaps will help improve the placement outcomes.

In conclusion, while Manipal University Jaipur's placement cell shows promise, there remains scope for improvement. By addressing the identified areas, the university can enhance its placement success rate and better prepare students for their future careers.
