The university accepts admission on its 50% seats through CUET, while the remaining 50% seats are filled with the qualifiers of MUET.

At UG level, Manipur University offers admission to BA in (Korean, Dance and Hindustani Music) and BVoc in (Food Processing & Quality Management, Retail Management & Foreign Trade and Tourism & Hospitality Management. In order to get admission to these courses, students need to pass Class 12 with 50% aggregate in the respective subjects from a recognised board.
