It is a decent college with a few good faculty and has the best collection of books in the library.

Placements: As I am a final year student, I have experienced the placements very closely this time. So according to me, this time, the placements were conducted just for namesake, but some mass recruiters were quite good for mechanical, automobile and civil engineering departments as they rarely got any placements last year.

Average college for average students. Not so good exposure and chance to grow

Placements: The placement here is not so good but placements of students in the CS/IT branch is 100%. The placement of EC is also good. But the average package is 3 to 3.7 lakhs per year. The main placement recruiter is TCS and the minimum CGPA required is 6.5 to enter in the placement.

College review of Medicaps Institute of Technology and Management.

Placements: The minimum package offered was 2.4 lakhs. The highest package from the college was 6 lakhs. The major recruiter last year was TCS. Other major recruiters were MAN Trucks, Techture, Bridgestone, and Force Motors. The college students were recruited as a graduate engineer trainee in various domains like quality, production maintenance, research and development, etc. The internship was done by oneself and a review was done in the college. A final year project was mandatory. Reviews were done twice...

Good to live a great, memorable life of engineering

Placements: As placement for my batch is very good compared to another college's placement cell. A number of companies visited our college, but companies are less as compared to last year's since current market conditions are not so good as we all know. But our placement cell tries their best and makes it possible that many companies come, including a number of MNCs. The salary offered by them was 2.7 LPA -4.8 LPA.

It's not a college, it's after school.

Placements: Honestly, the placements are only meant for the students of computer science and information technology branches in our college as they get nearly 80-90% placements. Rest of the branches in the mechanical sector don't see the light as they go nearly wholly unplaced. In terms of salary offered, it is nearly around 3 lakhs per annum for every company. The maximum salary can reach up to 5 lakhs per annum. Major recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, CSC, Amdocs, MuSigma, etc. The jobs offered to the st...

Above average if one wants to be in Indore and you have to be on your own to excel in life.

Placements: The scenario with placements is more or less similar to other private institutes. Most companies coming for placement drive are IT sector-based. The individual has to be prepared to secure a job on his own and acquire necessary skill sets for the same. The package for freshers is also average as per the industry.

Medicaps - abode of engineers.

Placements: Many IT companies come to campus which take students both from IT as well as other streams. Mass recruiters like TCS have a special bond with the campus and visit regularly. Other data analyst roles are also opened on the campus. Many other companies allow the students to sit for off-campus placements as well.

Good placements, good infrastruture and quite strict college

Placements: There were 98% placements for our batch. The package range was 2.6 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum. Companies which visited were TCS, Mu Sigma, Zensar, Yash Technologies, Capital Via and CSC Indore. The role offered was software engineer. There was no stipend as there was nothing like internship till our batch.

My story at Medicaps (2012-2016).

Placements: Placement was not that good but yes, it can be said that the TPO tried well. Like other colleges, IT companies like TCS were the mass recruiters. But there weren't any core companies visiting for the mechanical domain. Same goes for the electrical. Companies for market research turned up but not many.

Best private university in MP as per MHRD. Good infrastructure and focuses mainly on studies.

Placements: About placements, companies like Eicher, Essar, HCL, Honda and much more are their recruiters, which offer a sufficient salary. Also, for good placements, the college takes its efforts by allowing the students for the internship programme and also makes the students go for industrial training after 1 year.

College infrastructure is very good. A well-maintained campus and well-maintained discipline.

Placements: For computer and IT branches, they provide 90% placement while mechanical and other branches got 30% So overall, the placement is good. Many MNCs visit this college like TC. In my senior batch, the placement was 60 % but each and every year, they are increasing the list of placed candidates. Medicaps started in 2001 but now, it is becoming very a popular college in MP. Here, the minimum package was 2.4 lakhs per annum and the maximum you will get is 8 lakhs per annum. The internship is 100%. ...

The placement is awful but the infrastructure is good.

Placements: The placements were really bad. Approximately 20% of the students got placed. The placement officer of the management department was horrible and did not even guide us personally. Some of the faculty members were good. Most of the companies came to hire students for a package between Rs. 1.5 to 2 LPA.

Medi-Caps : The gurukul for enginners.

Placements: The placement opportunities in the college were good at the time of the completion of my degree. A plenty of students got placed. The placement cell of the college was active and engaging with all the students. The preparation of placements procedure was conducted too early which helped many students to compete in various placement drives. I also got placed in a good organisation.

Nice private college as its ranking shows but facilities need to be improved.

Placements: 80-90% of all the students who are sitting for placements are placed in my college. Some students pursue higher studies. Highest salary offered goes about 8 lakhs approx. Lowest salary offered goes about 2.25 lakhs approx. Average salary is around 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs approx. The job of programming in different languages is offered. There is no such internship facility in my college. We need to do the internship by ourselves. They don't give any leave too to do internship.

Average college but can do better if the management wants to.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in TCS. 7-8 IT companies visited the college but most of them were for CS/IT students. No core companies for EC/ EI students. From EI, 15-20 students got placed with 3.20 lpa annual salary in TCS for associate software engineer profile.

Medicaps is a good college in comparison to other private institutions in Indore.

Placements: The placement of Medicaps is comparatively better in comparison with respect to the other engineering colleges in Indore. But the thing is, your chances of placement will increase if you have taken the branch of information technology or comp science. My branch was electronics and communication. No company visited my campus for EC students! But we would be given the chance of recruitment in software companies. And interestingly, if you not placed anywhere, then they will place you in a consultan...

Medicaps College is the best college in Indore. Now it has become a private university.

Placements: The placement is excellent if you are a computer science student. But if you belong to some other branch like electronics and communication or instrumentation then the placement rate would be around 45% to 50%. No internship is provided by our college. The post that students get during the placement is that of a trainee. The package varies from 1.8 LPA to 3.4 LPA on an average. Few good companies also visit for recruitment but they recruit only 2-3 students.

Medicaps is the best among private engineering institutions.

Placements: The placement of our college is good and almost excellent among the private institutions in Indore. Our college has a very good and cooperative TPO cell and also a very good training and placement officer. The companies that visited our campus was Tech Mahindra, Zensar, TCS, WIPRO, Yash Technology etc. The average package was 3.25 LPA, the lowest was 1.8 LPA while the highest was 7 LPA.

Medicaps is a good institution. Infrastructure and library are excellent. Placement is also good.

Placements: The placement was good for the 2014 batch, but our batch's placement was better. In 2014 batch, the placement percentage was around 50 to 60%. The same scenario appeared in the 2015 batch too. The companies which visited our college were TCS, Yash Technology, Mu Sigma, Zycus, CSC and Hotwax. Maximum companies that visited our companies was mainly for computer science engineering students. The lowest package was 1.8 LPA while the highest package was 6 LPA. Average college and don't go for the tagline of the best private college in MP.

Placements: The average package was 3-4 lacs/annum and the highest package was 6.5 lacs/annum. The best placements were through the CS/IT branch. Good companies like Adobe, Accenture and Mu Sigma visit and take a few students. Others like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and other average companies hire students in bulk. 96% students got placed last to last year and this is possible because the unplaced ones are hired as faculty members by the college itself.
