Satisfied by college.
Placements: Placements are very good and if we have good skills it directly influences our placements. Like if I talk about the placements in 2024, most students got placed. Placements from core branches are also satisfying. The highest salary package offered in 2024 was 52 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very good and mess food is also satisfying. There are a lot numbers of hostels for students. Mess fees are Rs. 36,000 for a year. For the first year, hostels like Tagore, Tilak, and VS are available. There is a separate hostel for girls. There are two types of rooms, one is for 2 sharing and the other is for 4 sharing.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They give knowledge in very depth. They also take class tests very often. There are two exams in a semester - minor and major, then the second semester starts. There is also the possibility of branch upgrade if we meet the upgrade criteria.
Other: College campus is very big and beautiful.

Overall, it's a tier 3 college, but it's in Yogi Adityanath's CM city.
Placements: The college placements are not that good, but if you are rigorous in your studies and get a good CGPA, you'll be able to clear the jobs easily and tend to qualify for top exams. The average LPA is 7 LPA, while the minimum is 3.2 LPA, and mostly, near half or more than half of the students get the placement.
Infrastructure: The new infrastructure is very good in the college, but the old halls and instruments are not good. They bring new ones, though. The mess food is not that good, so you have to eat outside sometimes. And if you think the hostel would be like hotels, no—you'll definitely miss your home.
Faculty: The exams are very tough, and it would being more and more tough exams the teacher doesn't give marks easily, it would become more and more backlog in subjects you have to study on your own and more on yourself. So, we have to study in the library, and the library is good for the college.
Other: The campus life isn't that good as it brings less funding and gives fewer sponsors for the festivals as compared to other institutions.

Comprehensive insight and honest opinion of my college.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in civil engineering was around 23–30%. The highest package offered was 6.65 LPA by L&T and the lowest package offered was around 2.5 LPA by a Geotech firm in Noida. Top recruiting companies for civil engineers are L&T and ABG for the roles of Graduate Trainee Engineer.
Infrastructure: The departments are well-equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure to support students academic and practical learning needs. High-speed internet access is available throughout the campus, as is access to a digital library for up-to-date research and study.
Faculty: The faculty members had advanced degrees and extensive experience in their respective fields, ensuring a deep understanding of the subjects they taught. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect the latest advancements and trends in civil engineering, ensuring that the students learn current best practices and technologies. The difficulties of semester exams vary, but they are generally designed to test a thorough understanding of the material, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The pass percentage is generally around 70–80%.
Other: An interest in building infrastructure and creating sustainable design, the opportunity to contribute to community development and improve public facilities, and a wide range of career options in both the public and private sectors.

My college is a decent government college with good placement statistics.
Placements: Generally, 90% of students are placed in core branches like Electrical and Mechanical. Companies like ABG, MG Motors, etc., recruit students at a decent package. Placement is good in this college. Students in the CSE branch are almost placed. There is a good alumni network in the college.
Infrastructure: The entire college is Wi-Fi facilitated. Classrooms are big and decent. Since the college is old, the hostel facilities are not as good. There is no maintenance in the hostel, with issues related to electricity, water, and improper mess food, although the fee is a good amount of 18,000.
Faculty: Since I am in the Electrical Engineering branch, my branch faculty is generally very humble and decent, sweet, and polite. They also give good marks and teach very well. Other branches' faculty are also very good, like the Mechanical faculty.
Other: There are many tech and cultural fests in college, like Techsrijan and our annual fest, Abhyuday.

They have really good placements, & the faculty is so good, especially in the mechanical department.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of the students applying for core placements get placed. Our college has companies like Tata Motors and MG Motors. Placement ratio is really good. The highest package offered by our college in 2024 is 48 Lacs per annum, and for last year it was 52 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: We have a digital library in our college, which is very convenient. Hostel staff and members are also very good. Mess food is nice. We have Wi-Fi facilities available in hostels and every department, as well as in the lecture halls. We also have a college cafeteria on campus.
Faculty: Our faculty is really nice. They are so focused on our studies, and even our practical labs are also good. They teach us both theoretically and practically. Our VC is very focused on the college, and so are the professors. They also conduct programs for personality development.
Other: We have an annual tech fest known as Techsrijan, an annual sports fest known as Aayas, and an annual cultural program known as Abhyuday. Each fest has many events. There are a lot of things to explore.

This college is only for rich students, and middle-class students cannot afford it.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 43 Lacs, the average salary package offered is 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and L&T. I'm not aware how many students secured internships, but it is less than 10%. Top role offered in our college is a trainee.
Infrastructure: Library is available, but for very less hours, from 6 AM-8 PM, and it is not available overnight. Senior students also use library. Wi-Fi is available, we need to fill undertaking to access it. The quality of food is average. Sports facilities are not available for 1st year students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but because of few students, they are unable to teach properly. This year, some changes have been made to the syllabus. It focuses mostly on theory instead of practicals. We are only required to write notes, and there is no equipment available for practical work. Semester exams are very difficult, with strict checking. Previous year, about 300 students failed in Engineering Mathematics.
Other: I chose this course because based on my rank only this college was available and I wanted to take admission in government-funded universities. The best thing about our course is that it will have more jobs in future. Things that need to be improved include having more practical sessions rather than focusing mainly on theory. Fests are only for seniors, and they can be very destructive.
