Review of MSU - The Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda.

Placements: There are no proper placements as such in the college, but the faculty members have contact with many media groups where students get internships and jobs. Otherwise, students get internships based on their work or their own contacts. The pay scale is fair and not very high. But, the certificate from this university is very credible.

The quality has degraded since its inception. But, it isn't too late to improve.

Placements: Placements are not provided for our batch as no company came for placements. I guess only a few companies arrived for the placements of our senior batch. Also, none of the companies offered internship and placements. Students had to go and search for companies to get their internships done.

The college has potential. Could be better if the curriculum and resources are a bit more organised.

Placements: I am currently pursuing my master's in Australia. The bachelor's degree isn't sufficient enough, so seeking higher education is better. However, my degree helped me fetch some good internships. I wasn't placed when I was looking for a job before opting for my master's degree.

Its a good university for students.

Placements: There is no placements given to me from the university. I think no students were placed anywhere from this university. I think In Science or commerce faculty there will be a opportunity for placement in good company but I don't sure about this, u have to conform that in the university. I don't know about the internship in the university because I my time there is no internship in the university. No there is no placement cell in the arts faculty. Good to join - Recommended.

Placements: It was good. It was election time in 2014 and hence many companies are reluctant to recruit before the election results were out. There was a placement cell which was active. More than 60% of the companies which visited the campus were Tech companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant etc.

Absolutely good college for average students.

Placements: Currently no campus placements are offered in our college because mostly students who underperformed in their 12th board exams can get admission in this college. Further, Chartered accountant students also get themselves registered here as they are not allowed to get admission in other colleges.

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is one of the reputed universities in India.

Placements: There are no certain placements. In my running years, only 2 companies came, but academics is quite appreciable. It was not as promised during orientation. Our previous batch students had the opportunity to give interviews for a really large group of companies during their placement period.

The college has good faculty, but bad regarding the infrastructure.

Placements: There was a placement cell in MSU but was not in work from past few years. They have again started a new placement cell and have started to give 60% job placements. Also, the internship is from our side, they may or may not provide us with the internship. Many big companies visit our campus, but only 4-5 students are selected.

Overall, it is a good university.

Placements: There are not too many companies coming in for the placements. But there were two companies that had come in for the placements. One of them was GSFC. Generally, after studying law people prefer practicing in as lawyer. At present, even I'm pursuing my career as an advocate.

Reputed university, highly experienced teaching staff, attendance is not compulsory.

Placements: All the interested students have to fill a form for participating in placement program. Students have to provide their personal as well as academic details in the form. Mostly, companies from the BPO sector visit the campus. Roles like sales executive and customer support executive are offered to the students. Companies like TCS, Collabera, Kanan International, Mobilewala, Jasmine Mobiles, etc. visit the campus. The range of salary offered lies between Rs. 5000 to Rs. 18000. ...

Dissatisfied with the curriculum.

Placements: The placements are good, but it is getting worse year-by-year, and the average package has been reduced to 3 lakhs per annum, that too in the selected branches only. The highest package offered was 7 lakhs per annum, and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Not many industries come to our college offering internships, and the companies that usually visit our campus are Reliance Industries, L&T Power, and Bombardier.

The experience depends on you how to carve yourself there. You can do nothing and pass or do everything and get the maximum out of it. Closeness to some of the teachers can give you the best engineering experience. The laboratory and workshop facilities are very poor. The college is located in the heart of the city and in the industrial hub of Gujarat state: Vadodara. There are few faculty members who are having industrial exposure. The Return on Investment for the course is also good enough. It is a government institute operating under the lights of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

It’s a historic campus, graced by Aurobindo and Ambedkar. Economics has best of faculty yet has its own limitations. Campus politics has ruined the quality of crowd around the campus. Cleanliness has least priority and toilets in unusable state. The heritage building lies neglected. Campus lacks creative expression.

The campus life is boring.

Placements: Not really any placements done, but other co-curricular activities took place between the course. The university doesn't have strong connections, not at least in archaeology. Companies come to hire in courses like BBA, B.Com, and Computer Engineering, and many more.

B.M.C. is a old college campus with poor infrastructure.

Placements: My batch is a corona batch. There are 250 students in our group. All come as per NEET results. There are only 50-56 girls in our whole batch of 250, which was so annoying, so most of the boys are single, and most of the girls are in a couple. Please don't take admission to Baroda Medical College.

Placements: About 75% of the students from our course were placed. Our college provides the best salary packages at a good fee. Many extra things are provided in our college to make students more active. Many roles are provided well in our college. Companies like Wipro, etc., recruit students from our college. About 70% of the students got internships from here.
