Placements: In Nirma, on the set of 7th-semester, the companies start to visit for the placements. Before that, a placement coordinator is selected by the placement cell from each class. They keep regular meetings about the companies who are going to visit for placements. There are many companies which visit Nirma like Morgan Stanley, Oracle, Amazon, NVIDIA, Future first, NXP, TCS, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 12.5LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Last year 97% of the students got placed and remained ...
Placements: One of the best colleges of Gujarat and has a great history as well so no worries about the placements. Here, most of the branches have the 100% placement. However, CS and chemical branches are most renowned for this college, and one need not worry about the placements in these branches.
Placements: The college offers good placements. Almost 90% of my seniors got placed. For my branch, the highest package was 14 lakhs per annum, the lowest was 4 lakhs per annum, and the average is 5 lakhs per annum. The companies like Shell, HUL, reliance industries, L&T, GNFC are the major core companies in the campus.
Placements: Reliance and much more company are offered placements. The salary package is around 6 LPA to 7 Lacs per year. The highest placements percentage is 80 to 95. In the company, they offered the roles of an engineer that works best. Nirma the name which is good in both fields.
Placements: In civil engineering, the placement is very less in the college, but in other branches, i.e. IT/computer engineering, mechanical engineering there are many opportunities and around 65-75 % placements are available for the students. For electrical engineering, the placements are average, and in electronics and communication engineering 40% rate of placements are provided by the college.
Placements: The placements are decent, and it all depends on the student and his ability to get a job. It gets to a good student, whose CV is good. If not on-campus, a student can go for off-campus placements, which is not a worrying subject, if the students believe in themselves.
Placements: The placements of computer and IT branches are amazing. Means if a student has done a good amount of work regarding the development and competitive coding, then definitely he or she will get placed in multinational companies like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, etc.
Placements: If we consider overall placements of all branches, then it is good, but if I tell only about my branch, then it is bad. The placements offered in civil engineering is bad. Last year, only ten students got placed from the civil and that ten also in IT sector, not in the core. Only 1 core company came last year. Around, 5-6% of the students get placed. In civil RK infrastructure has come. But in IT sector many companies came like Intel, TCS, Wipro, etc. In our college, the 8th-semester is full of...
Placements: The placements could be better, considering the reputation that Nirma has. Every year there are the same companies that visit the campus with an average package of 3.5 to 4 LPA. There are very few core companies that visit for technical roles. To be fair, the placement scene is better than most colleges in Gujarat, and a student is placed if he is serious about it. The only concern is the low number of tie-ups with industries to allow the students for better prospects.
Placements: It's the main thing why students all around Gujarat are attracted towards Nirma. The placement head coordinator has many good relations with some tech giants like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Amazon and this year Microsoft invited our students for internships. In my senior batch, almost everyone got the jobs with packages averaging to 8-10 lacs. Those left were either going for MS or MBA. The highest salary was 27 lacs by Amazon, and the average was 8-10 by TCS, Deutsche Bank etc. And minimum ...
Placements: The placement cell is not efficient as few companies visit the campus. Less than five students were placed in the previous year which is low. The average salary offered is 5 lacs per annum, and the highest goes up to 7 lacs per annum. However, the students must find jobs on their own.
Placements: The placements are quite good here as there are many recruiters due to the mechanical gain industry in Ahmedabad and also there are MNCs. The placement cell also manages to give 100% placements including mass recruiting to all the students who applied for placement.
Placements: Placements for the senior batch were very great. There are a huge group of core and good companies such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Microsoft and much more. These were the companies which provided packages of 16 LPA or more. As of now, the IT industry is growing. So, huge placements are there for IT. And almost all the students got placed in some companies from the college. The placement cell of Nirma University is also very cooperative and has good relations with many companies, s...
Placements: In 2017, the placements in the mechanical department saw an increase in terms of no. of companies who visited the campus, though the average package remained the same which is around Rs. 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum. The highest package was offered by MuSigma considering the package of Rs. 21 lakhs for 3 years which has its own terms and considerations. There has been a constant push from the management to allow more companies to visit their campus. Our batch saw a thorough mix of manufacturing, des...
Placements: We have a good placement record. Average CTC offered was 8 LPA. We have top companies like HUL, JP Morgan etc. visiting our campus regularly for the summer internship and final placements. Pre-placement offers are also made for outperforming students. Major recruiters are from BFSI and FMCG.
Placements: The placements are not up to the mark for civil placement, but if your pointers are too good and you are fulfilling the company's criteria, i.e. every company sets its own criteria for placement purpose, then placement is of course available. The placements in many civil or non-civil companies are also there. If you are really good at knowledge and pointers are also good, you can easily placed here.
Placements: The placement of computer engineering has been phenomenal over the years. Almost, 100% of the students sitting for the job has got one. The highest package this year was almost 22 LPA. The internship opportunities are amazing as the companies like Morgan-Stanley and Amazon came and hired the students. Apart from these giants in the field of computers, many startups and the local IT firms gave the internships and the jobs.
Placements: 90% of the placement was done in 2015 from Mechanical Branch. Don't know the exact number of placements from our senior batch, but almost 90% for sure were placed. The highest salary offered was 8LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary was from 3.5 to 3.8 Lakhs. Line Engineering, GSFC, MARUTI, RELIANCE, L&T, BOMBARDIER, SAATHI, FORD are the major recruiters, and many others also were come for the placements. Roles offered were Quality Engineer, Maintainance Engineer, Design Engin...
Placements: The placement in my batch, especially in my branch was amazing. The average package was around 8-8.5 LPA with the highest being 27 LPA. Almost everyone who wanted to be placed received a job offer from the campus. So 93-95% students were placed. Most of them were core companies offering development profiles.
Placements: Since I am studying in the 6th semester, the companies visited the campus to hire interns from our batch and the jobs for our seniors. The highest intern placement was by Goldman Sachs with stipend Rs, 80,000 per month. The highest package for a full-time job was 18 lacs per annum. The average salary offered is 3-4 lacs per annum, which is by TCS and Infosys. There is a hard working placement cell in our college, and we call it the III cell. It is efficient, and the placements are good.
