You will meet amazing faculty and classmates in this college.
Placements: We can divide placement in two categories: on campus and off campus. Placement on campus is around 65 percent. Whereas placement off campus is 100 percent. Maximum package we got was 18 Lacs. However on an average people get around 6 to 8 Lacs. Almost 10 percent of each of our senior batch has been selected in PCS J exam, we have got rank 2 in Assam PCS J and Rank 1 in Nagaland PCS J. Many of them are also working in PSUs and MNCs.
Infrastructure: There is a Latin maxim 'Res ipsa loquitur', which means that 'things speak for itself'. You can just give a visit and know how sophisticated our campus is. We have amazing internet everywhere in college. The facility of charging socket is given for every seat of the classroom. We have centralised AC and interactive board and many such necessary and advance gadgets.
Faculty: Our faculty are really amazing. This is the best thing I like about my college. One can divide our faculty into two categories: Socratic style teaching and notes style teaching. The ratio of former to later is 9:1. Even those who do notes based teaching are very clear with their concept and can explain things nicely.

It is an excellent law school.
Placements: Students mostly go for litigation and judiciary. Corporate placements will be starting soon mostly in this year as it is a new college which is starting to grow exponentially. On a motivational note, our college started placements last year, and many students have made to big corporate firms through their internships or post-qualification.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best which you can get in pan India in terms of hostels and academics as well. Hostels have mountain view on one side and river view on the other, and the hostel has a small lake in front of it. There is also the Brahmaputra which makes the experience mesmerising. Students can keep their private vehicle with them to commute in and outside the campus. City and parts of northeast nearby need no vouching at all. The college has the best library and excellent infrastructure to compete with.
Faculty: Some teachers here are very good and bonafide others, and it is the same situation in all law schools across the country. You will have to put your efforts to gain. There are the best teachers to guide.
Other: Fests, events, etc., are conducted in our college. NLUJAA is a wonderful experience.

Decent faculty, learning opportunity, beautiful campus, and okay placements.
Placements: Well, the placement cell in the university is trying very hard and last year we were very good but the majority of the work is done by students themselves to grab these placements as most of the students here are focused on preparing for various government exams. The students preparing for judicial services have a unique benefit as the campus has the Assam Judicial Academy and students can interact with these luminaries.
Infrastructure: The campus's infrastructure is modern. All classrooms are equipped with modern facilities. Have smart devices and devices required to make the class a hybrid one. The lecture theatre is equipped with modern furniture and projectors. The walls and furniture are well maintained in all the hostels, classrooms and libraries.
Faculty: The core law teachers are decent but the faculty in the arts subjects are not that highly qualified. There is a political science professor who rarely conducts classes and when he does, students tend to know more than him. Good professors are leaving the university due to lack of promotions but law professors are decent but can be better. Exams are decently difficult and challenging enough. The curriculum is relevant.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and perfect campus life. Placements are improving with time.
Placements: Our college has 60 students in each batch. Out of those 60 students, few opt for the judiciary, few opt for litigations, and few went for the corporate field. Those who opt for the corporate field got placed in good firms. The highest salary package offered is more than 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Good companies like Khaitan, Cyril Amarchand, Fox Mandal, etc., visit our campus and recruit B.A. LL.B graduates. Roles offered depends on what you want to do, and you can join as a junior associate in a litigation firm. You can also work in a corporate firm, or you can attend the judiciary tests. Almost all students got an internship in good companies like Khaitan, Sandersons & Morgans, AZB & Partners, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are equipped with cutting edge technology. The college is fully air-conditioned. The college provides a library which remains open till midnight for students. The college provides a new 3 storey library coming up on our campus. The hostel is equipped with all the necessary facilities. Our rooms are huge than an average hostel room, and corridors and rooms are cleaned every single day by workers. Food served to the students is average, but we have a mess committee which takes care of the mess food and quality. We have ample opportunity for sports and games. The college provides a volleyball court, a football ground, a cricket ground, table tennis board, carrom board and a badminton court. The college is going to provide a new sporting complex in a few months. Medical facilities are always available on our campus. There is a nurse who always stays on our campus. An ambulance is available 24x7.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified. We have a brand of teachers coming from different NLUs, Jamia, DU and other universities. The course curriculum is relevant. It prepares students for whichever field they choose later on in life, be it litigation, corporate or judiciary.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am always fascinated by the way a lawyer argued in the court and presented his arguments. The best thing about our course is you will get to learn the basic principles, rules, acts and laws by various organisations, governments and other big bodies of this planet work. I wish the college should provide more law subjects and should also include more law subjects in the 1st year so that students are well aware of whatever that's going on around them. Events are organised by the college in every month. The campus crowd is good, and you can find students every time on the campus. It is just 15 minutes away from the main city hub. The campus is in a relatively remote area, but the main city is not quite far. Gauhati University is very close to the campus. Students get a lot of opportunities to showcase their talents as there is ample opportunity.

It is relatively very new and also exist in a bit backward region but is good.
Placements: PUCL and many others recruit students. Most students do internship by themselves in private law firms and other local NGOs and government organisations. Top job in this course are judge and lawyer. And after a few years of service then they can try out for the position of legal services of india.
Infrastructure: There is 24/7 Wi-Fi service within the campus with ethernet connection in every room in the hostel. Also top state of the art soundproofed classrooms each having smart board and about 60 seats for every student. There is a library and a volleyball court and a football court. Every hostel room has two beds and in many more there are few with one B.Ed. And mess for both the hostels.
Faculty: Yes the teacher are great and very helpful and very much qualified for the job. They have a very engaging teaching methods and have been very active in and around the college circuit. The curriculum is very much relevant to the field of work with focusing on the legal as well as the social sciences.

The campus life and mess food are the best.
Placements: Placements of the senior-most batch of our college were really good. If we talk about the campus placements, you can get a package anywhere around 10 LPA to 15 LPA. Our last batch did quite good in the placement. The highest package offered being around 15 lacs per annum, and the average was 9-10 lacs per annum. The placement percentage is not very good as most of the students don't opt for campus placement and go for higher studies or prepare for government exams like UPSC and judicial services. Moreover, NLUJAA helps in making a career in the judiciary. If we talk about outside campus placements, one boy from our senior-most batch had bagged a 15 LPA package from a company where he interned for about 6 months. This college provides you with many opportunities for placements, and it's better than any other tier-3 national law university.
Infrastructure: If we compare all the national law universities regarding the campus life, NLUJAA gets my vote. NLUJAA has the most beautiful campus when compared to different national law universities in India. It has a fresh and green environment with mountains and fascinating weather. Hostel rooms are also good, and when you join the university you'll probably get a double occupancy room, i.e. 2 students will have to share a single room. You get transferred to a single occupancy room, i.e. only 1 student per room when you get promoted to the 3rd year. Free Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus, and if you want to access internet in your laptop then you'll get a LAN cable which increases the speed of the internet connection. The library has a good collection of books, and all kinds of books are available for judiciary services exams. We have air-conditioned classrooms as well as air-conditioned moot courts. In the hostel, we have free Wi-Fi, a gym and medical facilities. The quality of mess food is really awesome. The college canteen is really pathetic. There are no fans, and it is very hot inside the canteen. The only food they serve is Maggie noodles. But the quality of this Maggi is mindblowing. The only limitation is the infrastructure of the canteen. Overall, the food quality and tea quality is awesome. In my opinion, the hostel's mess is much better than the college's canteen. The mess has a great infrastructure as well as great quality of food.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent, and the teachers are very professional with their work. Just after joining the college, we have been given several topics to do projects. Students have to do six projects and should submit them by November. There is a strict plagiarism policy followed by the college while checking the project. You can't just copy everything from the internet, and you have to use your own words. The mooting culture of this college is above average. Many moot competitions are conducted. In the first three years of BA LLB, it is mandatory for the students to choose all the subjects under social science. However, from the 3rd year, the course curriculum primarily contains the law subjects.
Other: Several events and fests are organised on the campus. The college encourages extracurricular activities. You can take part in speech competition or youth parliament. There are various MUNs, debates and many opportunities which will contribute to your CV in the future.
