Placements: The placement committee includes students, but due to the poor coding skills of some students, no companies are willing to participate. This committee is not in touch with the main campus, which makes it less attractive to potential companies. When companies visit our college, they are uninterested because the students lack proficiency in any particular area.
Placements: All internships are offered after the 3rd year so our batch has not got any internships as of now but some students have got internship by their own. Our seniors got placed but all the news regarding the placements are unknown. The placements of the first batch is still going on and I heard about TCS.
Placements: Almost 100% of students get placements from the college. All types of companies visit the college for placements. You will not feel disappointed after the placements as the salary offered is good.
Placements: Placements in our college are offered only for CS, IT and EXTC departments. Other departments suffer a lot. But the placements offered are good. Many students are more than satisfied with their jobs. The average salary package offered is of 7 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is of 30 LPA. The college offers some international placements. Many students are also studying in foreign universities.
Placements: Since I was in IT the placements for our particular branch and CS branch were good with all us getting placed in IT and other MNC companies. Most of the job profiles offered were Software development and IT consulting ( Analyst ). A few good start-ups also visited the campus with analyst profiles. The average salary offered for IT was 3.5 LPA and companies like Accenture, Infosys, IBM visited and recruited the students. Internships had to arranged by the students on their own. There is a placeco...
Placements: Placements were not as it was portrayed in the beginning of the course. 90% of the companies came for marketing profile and didn't wish to hire civil engineers who had done there major's in marketing. The average package offered was 5.5 LPA to 6 LPA. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, which was offered by Trafigura and the lowest package offered was somewhere around 4 LPA. The role of senior executive was the lowest designation among the profiles offered to the students.
Placements: Placements in the college were good. Students prefer taking internships and placements through college since the latter invites good reputed companies. All the students got placed. Students also got good management internships from college. The placement committee also invites technical companies for the technical internships of students.
Placements: Placements in the college are average and won't be anywhere near what you are investing. Some companies are nice, and you get a lot of exposure but not equivalent to the fees paid. The job profiles are good. College does provide management internship but not technical ones.
Placements: The placement committee puts in a lot of efforts to support the placement process each year. The on-campus coordinator and the student committee work with the central placement cell in Mumbai to facilitate opportunities with core consultancies and mass recruiters.
Placements: The placement percentage is good But the annual package for student is not satisfactory as compare to the fees. The highest package for B.Tech civil for batch 2014-2018 till now is 2.3 Lacs for the student whose GPA is 3.6 (out of 4) and the internships for civil is not vastly provided by college.
Placements: The placements are not that good in this college, and this is, in my opinion, the place where it lacks the most. The highest salary offered to a B.Tech student is around 6 lacs per annum, and the minimum salary is around 2 lacs per annum. I personally don't know much about the placements in the college.
Placements: The placements for M.Tech batch were much better as compared to the B.Tech branches. As far as the companies are concerned, most of the reputed companies from different countries were there for both the technical and the management field. The average package offered was 6.5 LPA, the highest package being 9.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 5 LPA. This information is of the year 2017.
Placements: NMIMS is good for MBATech and special MBA but for engineering, they give placement opportunities in software companies. But for mechanical, there are only 2-3 companies that visited the campus and recruited 3-5 students from a batch of 50 students. Overall, the experience can be said that it has very poor placements.
Placements: I did not opt for internship and therefore cannot comment on it. Our college assures 100% placement for all who opt for it. What they don't mention is that you cannot choose the company you sit for. Even if it's not what you want to do. It is compulsory to sit for companies that you are eligible for and if you get selected, you have to accept the offer. If it's a niche profile company, you are out of the placement procedure, even though it was not a profile you chose. If you decide to not sit fo...
Placements: The placements have not been the way it has been expected. It's a big let down. Most seniors even recommend to opt out of placements to either search on the market on your own or just go for further studies if you're interested. Few good companies do come. But not many of them.
Placements: The placement procedure is extremely complicated and tiresome, and even unfair for the students. There is no particular order in which the companies come to the campus to take interviews and once a company selects you, you can't decline their offer. In some cases, you are allowed to decline just one company. Even if a much better company comes later with a better job and a better package. The same applies for all internships. This procedure clearly aims to increase the overall placements of the ...
Placements: Very few colleagues actually received mechanical jobs, and the others had to manage with IT jobs from mass recruiters such as Infosys and Accenture who still have not recruited and begun with the jobs here, the college having ended in May. The placement process is very strict with you being kicked out of placements if you miss any company coming to the campus even if for a valid reason. As far as mechanical is concerned, the jobs are very few and not relevant (sales, tech support). The case was ...
Placements: The placements are 80-90% here as the students' parents or relatives work in the corporate companies. Many rich students are here, and some just go for master's degree and startups. This is not a place for someone who does not have any contacts of their own family members. Forget the placement cell, they do not have a proper education curriculum designed for the students here.
College is good enough and you can surely consider this college for admission. Mumbai is the best place to be for college life. Education quality is really great. Crowd is great and people come from really good places. The college is in the best locations of Mumbai. The food quality of canteen is great and also there are many places in Mumbai where you can hang out around after college. There is a safety for students in the college. Faculty members are good and helpful. You will really end up in...
Chilled out. Great facilities. No campus though but good for anyone who is just looking looking for a degree and do their own thing later. It is situated in the heart of Juhu, so you can make good contacts here. Apart from that they have got nothing much to offer. Mediocre faculty and mediocre placements.
