Campus Life at North Bengal University is above average.
Placements: There were a total of 3692 students who applied for the B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) course in the year 2021 (the year in which I joined), and only 96 students were able to get admission based on their Class 12th percentage. There are no on-campus placements as of now. The roles can vary, such as solicitor, judicial magistrate, private legal advisor, etc.
Infrastructure: There are every basic amenities in our college, be it Library, Computer Lab, Auditorium, except a canteen for our department. Wi-Fi is available for research scholars only. Separate washrooms and hostels for girls and boys, which are maintained on a regular basis.
Faculty: The teacher-to-student ratio is 1:10, which is great in my opinion. The teachers are easily approachable regarding doubts in lecture or if you were to publish any journal. The course curriculum is industry-ready and prepares you for real-life circumstances. Semester exams are moderately hard. The highest CGPA per semester is 7.5 as of now in my class.
