Pathetic college in terms of learning, crowd, placement, and exposure.

Placements: The placement is very poor. Very few companies in the steel and power sector come recruiting. Around 10% of the batch, rest all other companies. Although, they will show Amazon and other IT companies as their recruiter however all of them are off-campus and they have no rights to show as placement.

Average College, with excellent money digesting power!

Placements: Our senior batches are placed at low grade companies with package around 3 lakhs. Companies and their HR usually don't come here due to poor connectivity from the city. Jain Software, Raja Software, JSW, JSPL, JPL and Accenture. JINDAL usually hires for their SAP module. The highest and the lowest vary from 2.4 to 5 Lacs (rarely).

Regret to take admission in this college.

Placements: 14 if our seniors are placed in JSW but none from our batch is placed. Placement is very poor in our college. 2 students of our batch are placed in JSPL but salary is only 240000 per annum. Total strength of our class is 75 and 73 of them are unemployed. They only show placement on papers but they don't have guts to invite their own Jindal Group for campus placement.

Overall, the institution is not up to the mark and have no point in having the admission.

Placements: The placement is not good in this college. The maximum package offered in front of me is just of 4.5-5 lacs/annum. The companies which have up till now visited us are JSW, Bhushan, Earth Infrastructures, National Institute of Banking and Finance. Approximately, the average package is of 2.5-4 lacs/annum.

The worst university on earth, OPJU.

Placements: The worst university in the world. There are no placements, and they are making the people fool by showing the placements on their website. Be careful parents. This is a genuine review, believe me, or you will remain the day after graduation. It is the matter of your whole life. The faculty members are not capable of even teaching the basic engineering subject, and they are giving a degree of M.Tech.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college placements and fees structure.

Placements: 1. JSW Stainless Steel Limited, Mumbai. 2. Bhushan Steel And Power Limited, Orissa. 3. Jindal Power Limited, Raigarh. 4. BPO companies. The listed companies visited in 2017 for final year batch. Highest salary 3 lakh per annum. Minimum salary 1 lakh per annum. No internship offered. Previous year placement was not good and less than 5 were placed. This year, out of 60 students, only 20 are placed till today. The campus placement this year is 14 out ...

Despite having good infrastructure and a big conglomerate, the college fails to stand out.

Placements: The placement isn't great despite being an industry owned college. If you belong to the top creamy layer in your class then you have a pretty fair chance to get placed, but if you are a mediocre or slightly above average, it would kill your chances for placement in this college. 15-20 out of 60 students will only get placed so the percentage is fairly low. Jindal, Bhushan, and nearby small-sized steel manufacturing firms in the vicinity of the college are the major recruiters. For computer scien...

The college is good in terms of infrastructure.

Placements: Placements for the senior batch were good. 30-40% of the students were placed. Salary offered was between 1.2 LPA to 7 LPA. Companies visited the campus were cognizant, etc. Kind of roles offered to the students was of sales manager and software developer. The college does not provide internship facilities to the students.
