Review of Allahabad Degree College, Prayagraj.
Placements: In 2018, the university conducted the UGAT test for UG admissions. In 2022, the Non-Federal Bank hired students, and it requires more than 6 months of training before placement in the bank. For our course, top roles offered are UGC NET. Companies visit our university for placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not very good. Wi-Fi is not available on campus. Classrooms and seating arrangements are not good. Library and seating system is not good. College does not have hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, very humble, and corrective. Teaching quality is too good. Course curriculum is good and helpful. It makes students to be industry-ready. Exams are not too difficult, we just need to study hard with a calm mind. We need to opt for the D Kumar series during exam time.
Other: I chose this course to complete my graduation because I love the subject, History. Course curriculum should be improved. College conducts events, fests, campus connectivity, scholarships, and various activities.

Take the admission if u r not doing graduation for job.
Placements: There are very few placements, and when they do happen, it's usually for only two or three companies. The placements for MBA and M.Com students are a little better, but still not great.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good, especially the garden. However, the building is quite old and not aesthetically pleasing for a commerce college. The hostel is like a basic government hostel, and it is located near the building. The washrooms are clean, and the medical facilities are quite good as the university has its own department for all of this. On the plus side, the boys' and girls' classes are separate, but the library and other facilities are co-ed.
Faculty: The faculty is good, and the teachers are brilliant. The curriculum for B.Com is old, but the difficulty level is quite normal. The teachers help students excel in their respective fields. In exams, we need to write a lot, but with logic.
Other: I was doing CA when I joined this college. I wasn't doing CA for a job, but for fun and the college life. The university organizes events, but not farewell or fresher parties. So, take admission only if you are doing graduation for fun, not for a job.

No placements are available in our college.
Placements: In our college, there is no placement for our course, as my course is B.Sc. No company visits the campus for placement, and there is no internship opportunity as well. This college does not have any placement opportunities in any courses.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very old building, lacking significant infrastructure. It features regular classrooms, labs, and a library. There are no hostels for students, and essential facilities like a mess are unavailable. However, medical facilities are quite good, providing medicine for common problems. The sports facilities include cricket, racing, basketball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are educated, but they are not teaching well; they only attend lectures and do not help students in their studies. The college organizes two exams in every semester: the first is the mid-semester examination, and the second one is the end-semester examination. The passing criteria are 33 percent.
Other: I want to prepare for civil service, so I chose this course, and some improvements are needed for this course. Scholarships are provided by the UP government per year, and no events are organized in our college.

Depends on what field you're interested in.
Placements: There is no placement cell in the college. The law graduates from this college usually go for litigation and judiciary after their course completion. Students also give PSU exams for law officers. Graduation from here doesn't guarantee you a job. Work hard.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are large enough and airy. Fans and lighting are okay. There is no air conditioning available in the class. The auditorium is a good one. The library is equipped with standard textbooks. There is a dedicated moot courtroom. The college has an average canteen.
Faculty: The college follows the syllabus as per the University of Allahabad, as it is a constituent college. The faculty is well-qualified and supportive. The course is semester-based. Each semester has 6 subjects, each carrying 100 marks. 60 marks comprise external (end sem) and 40 internal.
Other: The fees for the first year are 50,000, and for the subsequent 4 years, it is 45,000 each. There is no "fun" in the college. Studies are okay. Do not expect college life to be very exciting.

Really good infrastructure but do not provide placement.
Placements: My college do not provide placement because it is a private college where you can only study. You complete this course then you are available to start your own business because you are fully knowledgeable about statics and environment of business then you start.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of a college is very good in condition like buildings they prove Wi-Fi library classrooms are good but need a more improvement. My college do not provide any hostel or mess facilities because mainly most of the students are local.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful when we side few teachers but left of the teachers are well educated and knowledgeable and qualified. My course is very relevant when you study properly then you ready for jobs in any company, it will my first semester exam that's why it is difficult to tell about exams in my college.
Other: Because I am a commerce student that's why I choose B.Com because in future I think to start our own business when you study this course you are capable to start a business because you known all things about business who to operates and run. Yes my college provide scholarships.

Good faculty and staff, but no placements in Allahabad Degree College.
Placements: My college doesn’t have any placements as there is no criteria regarding the placements and internships. There are no facilities in the Allahabad Degree College to provide internship and placement opportunities. Lenskart once approached for internship with to minimum stipend of 6000 INR and a maximum of 10000 INR.
Infrastructure: The seats of the classrooms are very comfortable in the college. There was no Wi-Fi available for the use of the students. The library has very limited books. The best thing is that 75% attendance is not mandatory for the students. There is no canteen or sports facility available.
Faculty: The faculty and staff is really nice and humble. They guide you at every step and are helpful. Their teaching quality is very good and appreciable. Passing percentage of each year is 30% and 27 marks in each subject is required to pass which is really not that tough.

The B.A. LL.B. program at Allahabad State University requires passing your class 12 examinations with at least 50%. Your degree should be from a recognised board of any state in India.

Even if you're taking exams in 2024, you can still apply.
