Life at Quantum University Roorkee.
Placements: Placement in the agriculture branch is not so good. Placement of agriculture students is only in sales and marketing, but in other departments, such as B.Teach and MBA, placement is good, and the average placement is 300,000. Various companies also come to the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It is full of greenery, and there is a clean and hygienic environment all over the campus. The hostel is also good and neat and clean. Sweepers are available during the day to clean the students' rooms. Overall, the hostel is good.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is well-educated, and most of the faculty have completed their doctorates. The faculty is very supportive and well-experienced. There is an exam conducted at the college at the end of every semester, and the exam is fair for all.

Me and my campus tour with love.
Placements: Placement in B.Sc. agriculture is very low. Only 1% of total students get placed from our department. The highest package from the agriculture department is 8 lacs, and the lowest is 2.5 lacs. I am not sure about the average package of our department. That's all.
Infrastructure: My department has various labs, like the agronomy lab, soil science lab, and entomology labs with good equipment. The classroom is well-furnished with a green board. Wi-Fi is not provided in our classroom. There is a central library in our college where some books are available.
Faculty: There is one faculty member for every 12 students. There are 10 faculty members in our department. Faculty members are quite good and knowledgeable, but some of them are also involved in department politics, especially the female ones. No, in agriculture, there is no such program that prepares students for the industry.
Other: I opted for this course as per my interest. I have a lot of interest in plants and greenery. I would like to suggest that my department must have some high-tech machines as per the requirements of this generation to perform agriculture.

Honest opinion of Quantum University.
Placements: As per college, 40 LPA was the highest package of college till now. This year, it was 27 LPA, and the average placement was around 5 LPA. 1770 offers have been given to students until now. The top recruiters were Zscaler, Chegg, Jio, Airtel, Axis Bank, etc. Internships are not provided inside college like placements, & you have to find internships of your own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure (labs, classes, library) is decent, but there is no AC in classes or labs, which becomes unbearable for students in the 40-degree + scorching heat in summers. The hostel is also quite decent, with average facilities. Mess food is quite decent, as you would expect from a college mess. There is cricket, football, tennis, badminton, volleyball, etc. Games are available in the college. There's a private canteen inside & a manufacturing infirmary.
Faculty: The faculty is good & supportive, depending on the course. They are Masters or Ph.D. holders and reachable. However, some of them don't want to teach & just waste the time of students. The course curriculum is not up-to-date as per the latest trends, as is the case in most Indian private colleges and I don't think students are job-ready after course completion. You have to do your studies on your own outside of college. Semester exams are not very tough, and the passing percentage is 40%, which is not very tough to understand.
Other: One main fest named Dharohar is organized by the college annually, and several events are held there. Other than that, many other coding, literary, drama, music, and dance events are held.

Join if you want good college life at less fee.
Placements: If you study well, you are sure to be placed. The off-campus placement rate is higher than the on-campus rate. The highest package is 31 lacs, and the lowest is 2 lacs. The internship rate is good. Coding pros are included for developing coding and problem-solving IQ.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and library are well-maintained, but the Wi-Fi connection is somewhat poor; you may experience network issues. Food quality is average, but a variety of items are provided, with occasional special items. Canteen food is good, and sports and games are encouraged.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty are very supportive, and practical teaching methods are the best. There are prop classes on Wednesday and Saturday in which you can follow your passions and explore various relevant curricula. Semester exams are well-disciplined.
Other: Events are good, and curriculum are best. There is a small market nearby and hotels in front of the university, but as it is on the highway, it's difficult to have online food like Swiggy or Zomato.

I am quite satisfied with my college, but many things can be improved.
Placements: The placement opportunities are quite good but minimal, as I have known from my seniors. Various companies approach for placements, and an average of 5 LPA is offered to the students. Some also get very high packages, and if one is not satisfied, they can try for off-campus placement.
Infrastructure: I like my hostel; the rooms, the washrooms, everything is good. The only issue is that there is a network problem on the ground floor, but leaving that, everything is good. Even the mess food is also okay, and sometimes really good. We get desserts too, which is the best part, I would say. The infrastructure is good, but it can be improved more like, the classrooms can be more advanced.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are quite nice, sweet, and helpful, except for some teachers. Their knowledge and qualifications are good. The curriculum and syllabus are also good and relevant to the industry market. The semester exams are moderate to high. The thing is, if you study, you get it.
Other: I opted for ECE because it is the future.

The Reality of Quantum University.
Placements: In my course, BCA, the placement percentage was very low the previous year and this year. The highest package offered in my course was 7 LPA, the lowest was 3.6 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my college are Chegg, Wipro, and Chetu. Internships are very difficult to get here. Very few students get internships. The top roles are web-developed.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi service offered in the classes or at the college. The labs are average in the college but not bad, and the computers are working properly. The library is not good, and it does not have enough space for students. The hostel is very bad, and the facilities offered in the hostel are not good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They have a lot of skill to teach, and the teaching quality is very good and top-notch. The course curriculum is good; it is made in a structured way to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy.
Other: There are two main events the first one is Dharohar and the second one is udan.

Quantum University
Admission FAQs

Q:   How are MBA placements at Quantum University?

A:

Quantum University claims to have a strong placement record for its MBA program, but finding independent and verifiable information about their placements is limited. The university's website claims an 85% placement record for MBA students, with the highest package being INR 33.50 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum). The "Assured Placement MBA Program (APMP)" offers a minimum guaranteed placement package of INR 4.00 LPA, but it's crucial to understand the terms and conditions associated with this program.

Finding independent sources like placement reports, unbiased surveys, or alumni reviews can be challenging. Quantum University's relatively new alumni network may also make it harder to gather comprehensive placement information.

Recommendations include contacting the university's placement cell, connecting with alumni through professional networking platforms like LinkedIn, and researching placement data and reviews for MBA programs at established universities in the region. Remember that individual effort, skills, and performance during the placement process significantly impact job opportunities and salary packages. Focus on developing strong academic performance, relevant skills, and actively participating in placement activities to maximize your chances of securing a favorable job offer.

Q:   Is Quantum University as good as Amity University Mumbai for B.Tech?

A:

When it comes to comparing Quantum University with Amity University, Quantum University is way better. Being a new-age university, Quantum University, Roorkee pays huge emphasis on the overall development of students. Quantum has adopted a lot of global practices like interdisciplinary education and Passion Programs (PROPS).

For undergraduate students, the university offers interdisciplinary education which means a student is allowed to pursue a minor in a completely different discipline. Under interdisciplinary pedagogy, undergraduate students are exploring unique combinations like engineering with economics, agriculture with culinary skills, computer Science with marketing etc. My sister at Amity University does not have the option of interdisciplinary education.

The faculty members at Quantum University are highly qualified and friendly. At Amity also faculty is good but not that friendly. My sister has told me several times that she feels very hesitant whenever she has to ask anything from the teachers. Additionally, Quantum University has close tie-ups with IIT Roorkee, Often faculty members from IIT Roorkee deliver us the lecture.

Life at Quantum is quite good. Events, seminars, workshops, cultural festivals, and parties are regular happenings at the campus. The management has made all the facilities available at the campus itself. The campus is well connected with all the nearby cities like Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Rishikesh and Dehradun. We don’t have to travel far to get access to public utilities.

Q:   What is the average package for B.Tech students at Quantum University?

A:

Quantum University's website claims an average package for B.Tech graduates at INR 5.80 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum). However, this information is limited due to the challenges of finding independent verification and the smaller alumni network. To obtain comprehensive placement information, it is recommended to contact the university's placement cell and research average salary data and reviews for B.Tech programs at established universities in the region. The average package can vary depending on factors like student performance, placement efforts, company type, and job location. To maximize your chances of securing a good job offer, focus on developing strong academic performance, relevant skills, and actively participating in placement activities. Quantum University's claim of an average package should be approached with caution and further research to gain a more comprehensive understanding of potential salary prospects for B.Tech graduates.
