Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Scholarships and Funding

University and Government provides various scholarships at merit basis for undergraduate and post-graduate students, examinations held by the university.

1. Indian Council of Agricultural Research awards a scholarship value of Rs. 170/- p.m.Students whose parents have an income not exceeding Rs. 750/- p.m. and who have secured not less than 60% marks in the last qualifying examination and are Indian nationals are eligible for its. In the case of students, whose parent’s income exceeds Rs. 750/- p.m. national prize of Rs. 125/- and merit certificate will be awarded in lieu of the scholarship.

2. Post-Metric Scholarships to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Nomadic Tribes Scholarships of Rs. 280/- p.m. is awarded to students of scheduled tribes/Nomadic Tribes provided that the income of the student’s parent’ guardian does not exceed Rs. 5001- p.m.

3. Need cum merit scholarship
All students whose parents guardian have an annual income of Rs. 20000/- and below, and secure 60 % marks or above in the last qualifying examination will be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Placements: The top college in Rajasthan that offers B.V.Sc. and A.H. 100 percent of placements are offered. The average package is 7.5 LPA and above. Semi-government agencies and mobile veterinary vans provide jobs as a veterinary officer. 100 percent of students got internships under the college for 1 year.

In this collage all facilities are available.

Placements: Percentage of students placed between 80 to 98 percentage in our course. In our college highest package is 90000 and lowest package is 30000 offered in our course. 55 percentage of students got internship from our course.

Placements: Internship is included in the course. After completing the 4-year course, we can get our degree only after completing the internship period. The stipend is about Rs.15,000- Rs. 17,000 salary per month for one year. For the internship, we have to visit various other universities during this period.

Placements: Internships for the passing batch are provided by the government. You can also join companies after your degree or opt for government exams for V.O. Top roles in my college include assistant professor. The selection procedure is counseling by RAJUVAS for the state and by VCI for all of India.

PGIVER, a good veterinary college .

Placements: Most of all students have been placed in different companies all over India. Some are government employees and some are field workers. This means all of my batches are fully employed. Some have side businesses like pet clinics or pet hospitals. Field work is most economic in the veterinary field.
