Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and environment friendly campus .
Placements: Nice college and the best environmentally friendly campus and the best professors for teaching. The placements are also available in the same college where you study; you can work in their hospital only. For example, if we complete our internship later on based on our MBBS degree, we can work in the teaching department for our experience.
Infrastructure: The hostel stay is very good. Each room is shared by 2 persons. There are also normal non-AC hostels and 2 AC hostels for UG candidates, and there is an AC hostel facility for all PG students. The UG students from 1st year stay in the hostel, which is outside of campus.
Faculty: The faculty is very good at teaching, and they are friendly with the students. The exams will be conducted weekly and monthly for all year students. And once in 3 months the internals will be conducted for the student, and they call and inform the parents about their child's academics.

An insight to Navodaya Medical College, Raichur.
Placements: Actually, we are becoming doctors, so after getting a degree, we can work in private hospitals & clinics for a minimum 20k per month, & we can pursue PG in the MBBS after giving the NEET PG entrance examination. On the basis of passing percentage, almost 80-90% of students get their degree in the batch. Internship is provided in the medical hospital in the same college for one year.
Infrastructure: The academic classrooms are centralized. AC & projectors are being installed with advanced technologies for better teaching in the classrooms. The practical labs of different departments are well-equipped with the instruments & objects for which students can learn & use the knowledge in their future endeavors. The campus has a central library that has almost all research papers related to the medical field & books of different authors. The presence of a digital library also helps to get study materials from online.
Faculty: The professionals, or the lecturers, are qualified doctors in their department. So the classes are regularly interactive, but some lecturers classes are one-sidedly interactive, to be honest. The lecturers put their efforts into making the PowerPoints for the topics that are really interactive & interesting & help the students to understand the topic better. Obviously, as you know, the MBBS course is a vast one, and with the lecturers, we have to study hard & most importantly deal with practical experiences to be better doctors in the coming times.
Other: The best thing about the MBBS life is to help people & treat their diseases & make a world of disease-free environments. The campus life you get is a bit okayish because you have spent most of the time in the hospital & college, but as of the weekend, you can enjoy yourself in & around the city. The college also conducts REGALE, an annual fest, and COMA, a conference once a year to make your boring life a bit more enjoyable.

It's not a satisfactory college to be in from the food to the fest; everything is below average.
Placements: After passing your final year, you need to qualify as a doctor, for which you have to complete a mandatory 12-month internship. After getting the degree, most doctors start preparing for the NEET PG exam, which will now be called the Next exam, with a few major changes totally changing the dynamics of problems and solutions.
Infrastructure: It's not so bad, but compared to urban colleges such as B.M.C. or M.M.C., it's *** and not worth your time at all. The library is easily accessible to everyone. It's open until 10 pm, and lecture halls remain open during exam time. Sports are not a good and strong point about HIMS; it's a lost case; maybe the government needs some more money. Hostel food is not a good option at all. We usually eat out twice a week to satisfy the taste buds.
Faculty: Finding it easy and simple would be a mistake of yours. It's full of crazy obstacles that you may face as you move forward in the range. The faculty is well-skilled and qualified. Exams are done in a timely manner. Regularly, we are questioned about our personal and professional life. Exams are easy-going, and anyone who can get admission to a medical college should be capable of passing it with ease.
Other: The fest in my college occurs during the month of August or September. It's not so bad, but compared to urban colleges such as B.M.C. or M.M.C., it's *** and not worth your time at all. Choosing MBBS would be a dream for anyone, and to achieve it by yourself is an achievement.

Overall it is a good college.
Placements: There were 150 students in my batch. In 2023, they increased the number of seats by 50, for a total of 200 students. VIMS is a good college to learn at. There are a lot of patients coming to the hospital every day, and you can learn a lot by seeing different types of patients.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, and the library has Wi-Fi. The campus grounds are nice to walk around after dinner, but there are a lot of dogs and snakes on campus. The campus is also a big ground.
Faculty: The teaching is excellent, and the subject matter is very vast. We can learn a little bit by listening in class, but we need to study more and more. Also, for boys, it is easy to go to postings because the departments are near the boys' hostel.
Other: I'm a student at Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) in Bellary. I think it's a good college. They conduct all types of events every year, which makes for a well-rounded education.

Faculty is good, and infrastructure is good, but there is no ground.
Placements: The students are placed based on the All India NEET exam, and the highest package offered is about 35 Lacs per annum, while the lowest is 4 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies include medical officers, and 99 percent of students will get an internship from the course. Nova Life Healthcare is one of the companies. The top role offered is becoming a multi-specialty doctor, and becoming a lecturer is the highest role.
Infrastructure: In our college, the hostel facility is very good and there are many facilities like Wi-Fi, which help a lot in the hostel. There are many labs which help in understanding the subject, and one big library is there for studies and books to refer to. In our hostel, they give good and healthy food and maintain a good mess and canteen. There is also a little bit of sports available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified with an MBBS and PG degree, and they are very helpful. The teaching quality is of a high standard. The course curriculum is relevant, and the students are highly eager to learn. Semester exams are not very easy, and it is mandatory for students to pass with a 50 percent pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for it; it has always been a dream of mine. It is a very passionate and serving profession. The campus is not so good, but extracurricular activities are nice.

Extremely outdated and irrational rules, good infrastructure and average faculty.
Placements: It is a reputable college and they have a hospital of their own which pays comparatively well (75,000/month for tutors after MBBS), but stipends for further education are either very less or non-existent. Many pursue exams like USMLE and exams abroad.
Infrastructure: We do have AC classrooms and a very well-equipped VASA simulation laboratory. The library also has central AC and most books are there along with tables which have a Prepladder subscription. There is a self-study room too. The hostel, on the other hand, is the worst. Rules are extreme and the infrastructure is very bad. Food is quite poor and many students fall sick from it.
Faculty: Faculty is pretty okay. Some are good, a lot of them just read out PPT. Mostly have to study by ourselves. Exams are sometimes purposely made hard in an attempt to make us study harder. The 1st year of MBBS, 50 people failed in the 1st attempt at finals.
Other: The rules are extreme, security is crazy. Dress code has uniform and a clean-shaven face for boys and strict adherence. They threaten with suspension for everything. You will not be treated respectfully. Till now only 2 fests have happened in the college’s history and both were namesake. So if you only want to study, don’t ever want a social life, then join.
