Extremely outdated and irrational rules, good infrastructure and average faculty.
Placements: It is a reputable college and they have a hospital of their own which pays comparatively well (75,000/month for tutors after MBBS), but stipends for further education are either very less or non-existent. Many pursue exams like USMLE and exams abroad.
Infrastructure: We do have AC classrooms and a very well-equipped VASA simulation laboratory. The library also has central AC and most books are there along with tables which have a Prepladder subscription. There is a self-study room too. The hostel, on the other hand, is the worst. Rules are extreme and the infrastructure is very bad. Food is quite poor and many students fall sick from it.
Faculty: Faculty is pretty okay. Some are good, a lot of them just read out PPT. Mostly have to study by ourselves. Exams are sometimes purposely made hard in an attempt to make us study harder. The 1st year of MBBS, 50 people failed in the 1st attempt at finals.
Other: The rules are extreme, security is crazy. Dress code has uniform and a clean-shaven face for boys and strict adherence. They threaten with suspension for everything. You will not be treated respectfully. Till now only 2 fests have happened in the college’s history and both were namesake. So if you only want to study, don’t ever want a social life, then join.

Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences.
Placements: I heard from my seniors that people who do MBBS from VYDEHI INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL AND DENTAL SCIENCES have very nice placements. There is 99% placements. If students study well from the first to the fifth year without any distractions, there will be a good result reflection in their NEET PG, with the help of which they will get good placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good library where many important books are available. The Anatomy Dissection lab is very spacious and helpful too. There are big classrooms, and they are equipped with AC. I heard from my friends that even the hostel is good, and I heard that even the food in the hostel mess is good.
Faculty: There are 4 internals conducted, which are more than enough for preparation for the finals. If students have a love for MBBS, they can study well from the very first year to the fourth year without any distractions. It has a CBME curriculum, which is easy to follow.

For studying purposes, it is the best college.
Placements: Now I'm studying in 2nd year MBBS. There are around 260 members in our batch. For government seat, it is 1 lakh 40 thousand, and for private seat, it is 11 lakhs, and management seat it is around 1 crore or 50 lakhs. In our college, there is a medical course, pharmacy, physiotherapy.
Infrastructure: The library is the best place in our college; it has a broad spectrum of books to refer to, and classrooms have a good ambiance with AC provided. Labs have good equipment with skilled practitioners. There is quite a problem in the network or Wi-Fi in the hostel, but it's good in college. The hostel provides us better food, but for accommodation, I'm not satisfied.
Faculty: Coming to the best part of our college, it's the best faculty members who teach well and are cooperative with more knowledge. Class tests are held for a week, and there will be difficulty in passing exams here because they train for more, and it will be easy for University exams.
Other: From childhood, I dreamt of being a doctor, so I joined this course. In our college, there is no fest held, but other curriculum activities will be held.

Exceptional Education and Safe Environment.
Placements: I am part of the MBBS batch of 2023-2028, comprising 250 students. Since it is a medical program, typical placements like in other fields do not apply. Instead, after completing our MBBS course, we are required to undergo a one-year internship in various departments within the hospital, which is a crucial part of our practical training. During this time, we gain hands-on experience in patient care and medical procedures under the supervision of senior doctors. Many graduates then proceed to pursue postgraduate studies or specialize in specific fields of medicine.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the MBBS course are excellent. Our labs are well-equipped with the latest technology and necessary instruments, providing a solid foundation for practical learning. The lecture hall is spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids, ensuring a smooth learning experience. We also have an impressive library with a vast collection of books, creating an ideal environment for focused study. The canteen offers a limited but decent selection of lunch and snacks. While I’m not a hostel resident, I’ve heard that the hostels are clean, comfortable, and provide good-quality mess food. The campus is also known for its strict safety measures, ensuring a secure environment for all students. When it comes to sports and games, our college primarily focuses on academics and shaping good doctors. However, students are allowed to practice sports and recreational activities after college hours, though these are not heavily emphasized during the academic schedule.
Faculty: Our college boasts an exceptional faculty, with highly qualified and knowledgeable teachers who are always ready to assist students. The teaching quality is outstanding, making this one of the best institutions for academic excellence in medicine. The faculty is dedicated to shaping students into disciplined professionals, ensuring we are well-prepared to become competent doctors serving society. The course curriculum is designed to be highly relevant, thoroughly preparing students for the demands of the medical field. It not only provides theoretical knowledge but also equips students with the practical skills necessary to succeed in the industry. As for the semester exams, they are moderately challenging, effectively testing our understanding and knowledge. The exams are structured in a way that prepares us well for professional exams. One of the strongest aspects of the college is its focus on academics, discipline, and student safety, creating a well-rounded and supportive environment for future doctors.
Other: Currently, the college doesn't entertain extracurricular activities, fests, or events, but it’s trying to implement all of these in the upcoming years.

The college is beneficial, and there are good opportunities to learn.
Placements: We have to do an internship after the final year, where we are paid a decent amount, and you can always come back and work in Vydehi because the majority of teachers and tutors here were students of Vydehi itself. The institute has a good reputation that will definitely help your further studies.
Infrastructure: Actually, classrooms with good maintenance. Classes are conducted systematically and on point. The anatomy teachers are very good and teach the subject very well. You will learn a lot through dissection as well. The biochem department is very strict and systematic.
Faculty: The teachers take good care but are more exam-oriented. We have to write a lot of informative assessments, which will definitely benefit but are stressful. They strictly follow the NMC curriculum, and the labs are also conducted very subject-oriented. Initially stressful, but you will get used to it.
Other: There are many strict rules. Fests are not even a thought to be given, but the campus is beautiful, and the crowd here is pretty fun as well.
