Top State College, Better Exposure Than Some AIIMS.
Placements: The college has a total of 250 seats for the MBBS course. It is the top college in Karnataka, with students from various parts of India. The college offers well-equipped laboratories and a dissection hall with enough equipment for each and every student.
Infrastructure: There are 3 hostels for boys and 2 for girls, with healthy food at a minimal cost. The hostels are very near to the college. The college has 8 floors with various labs and air-conditioned classrooms, well-equipped with projectors and speakers, a sports room, and various clubs like music, sports, social, etc.
Faculty: The faculty here is top, and their teaching and guidance are very helpful. They are very experienced and strict in terms of academics. The teachers here see each and every student's performance and guide them to the right path. The college assigns mentors to every student for any kind of problems they face.
Other: Overall, the college is a complete package with good academics as well as a stunning campus life. It has 5 hospitals attached to it, which help students to learn from patients and gain real-life experience during their studies.

Satisfactory college and campus with great opportunity for learning and facing the course.
Placements: Many graduates choose to do a postgraduation. Others opt for jobs in many different hospitals as a duty doctor with a minimum pay of INR 50,000. Graduates get a INR 30,000 stipend during their internship and great exposure to patients at the civil hospital in Belagavi. This is a great opportunity to learn clinical skills.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really good. Classrooms are spacious and well-equipped with teaching tools and a digital board. Laboratories are well-maintained, although some equipment is outdated. Hostels are well-maintained, but the food quality in the mess and canteen is not up to the mark. There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel. Sports equipment is available, but there is no proper ground for playing sports.
Faculty: The teachers at this college were well qualified and taught well. The basic subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry were dealt with really well. Dissection was taught very well, and students were given the opportunity for self-learning. The semester exams were based on the university pattern and were moderate to difficult in nature. The pass percentage was 50%.
Other: I chose MBBS because I wanted to be a doctor. The best thing about my course is patient satisfaction. I would like the campus to be a little bigger and have more fests and extracurricular activities.

It's not a satisfactory college to be in from the food to the fest; everything is below average.
Placements: After passing your final year, you need to qualify as a doctor, for which you have to complete a mandatory 12-month internship. After getting the degree, most doctors start preparing for the NEET PG exam, which will now be called the Next exam, with a few major changes totally changing the dynamics of problems and solutions.
Infrastructure: It's not so bad, but compared to urban colleges such as B.M.C. or M.M.C., it's *** and not worth your time at all. The library is easily accessible to everyone. It's open until 10 pm, and lecture halls remain open during exam time. Sports are not a good and strong point about HIMS; it's a lost case; maybe the government needs some more money. Hostel food is not a good option at all. We usually eat out twice a week to satisfy the taste buds.
Faculty: Finding it easy and simple would be a mistake of yours. It's full of crazy obstacles that you may face as you move forward in the range. The faculty is well-skilled and qualified. Exams are done in a timely manner. Regularly, we are questioned about our personal and professional life. Exams are easy-going, and anyone who can get admission to a medical college should be capable of passing it with ease.
Other: The fest in my college occurs during the month of August or September. It's not so bad, but compared to urban colleges such as B.M.C. or M.M.C., it's *** and not worth your time at all. Choosing MBBS would be a dream for anyone, and to achieve it by yourself is an achievement.

    MBBS life at Akash Institute.
Placements: There are no placements in the MBBS course. We have a one-year compulsory internship. They also provide a stipend, which is around 10,000 per month in our college. All students have to do a compulsory internship for one year. We are posted in all branches during this period.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, with all the lecture halls and practical demo rooms well-equipped. The library has a wide variety of books and is spacious with a peaceful environment. A cafeteria is present in the college, and the canteen is present in the hospital. A sports ground is available, and a swimming pool is also present.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and have a lot of experience. They have worked in reputed institutes. The teaching quality is top-notch. The course is based on real-life scenarios. Very helpful. Exams are yearly, and they are moderate to difficult. The pass percentage is around 80%.
Other: I like MBBS since childhood, and I like the doctor-patient interaction. Fests are conducted once a year, and Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated grandly.

BMCRI college life for MBBS students .
Placements: We have 250 students in our batch. This course is 5.5 years, of which 4.5 years is all about studying and writing countless exams. For the next 1 year, we will have to work as doctors in the hospital attached to our college. Here, we will get a stipend of 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: We have very well-equipped labs for practicals with all the facilities. The physiology department has a hematology lab, human physiology lab, and clinical physiology lab. For anatomy, we have histology and dissection halls and also osteology. For biochemistry, we have a biochem lab. We also have sports like Cricket, Basketball courts, and Volleyball courts.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and very cooperative. We have around more than 10 faculty members for each subject, including PGs, HODs, assistant professors, and professors. We will have to write 3 internal exams followed by the final exam in the 1st year. All the exams are very difficult and not easy to pass.
Other: We have a yearly fest called Cobalt Skies conducted by our seniors. It is my passion to do MBBS.

Extremely outdated and irrational rules, good infrastructure and average faculty.
Placements: It is a reputable college and they have a hospital of their own which pays comparatively well (75,000/month for tutors after MBBS), but stipends for further education are either very less or non-existent. Many pursue exams like USMLE and exams abroad.
Infrastructure: We do have AC classrooms and a very well-equipped VASA simulation laboratory. The library also has central AC and most books are there along with tables which have a Prepladder subscription. There is a self-study room too. The hostel, on the other hand, is the worst. Rules are extreme and the infrastructure is very bad. Food is quite poor and many students fall sick from it.
Faculty: Faculty is pretty okay. Some are good, a lot of them just read out PPT. Mostly have to study by ourselves. Exams are sometimes purposely made hard in an attempt to make us study harder. The 1st year of MBBS, 50 people failed in the 1st attempt at finals.
Other: The rules are extreme, security is crazy. Dress code has uniform and a clean-shaven face for boys and strict adherence. They threaten with suspension for everything. You will not be treated respectfully. Till now only 2 fests have happened in the college’s history and both were namesake. So if you only want to study, don’t ever want a social life, then join.
