Good college for education and sports. Supporting staff, tasty food, and spacious place.

Placements: Average students got placed through campus. The lowest package is 3 lacs per annum, while the highest is 10 lacs per annum. Hitech, Star Air, and Tata were the main recruiting companies. Almost all students got the internship. Even aptitude programs are conducted by colleges to help students during interview and placement procedures.

Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is very good, with a spacious place, greenery, and a friendly environment. Classrooms are big and provided with projectors. The library is occupied with various types of books. Food is good. Hostel rooms are big, clean and spacious. Hostels are provided with all facilities and full security 24/7.

Faculty: Teaching staff is helpful at clearing our doubts and good at teaching. Theoretical and practical knowledge is provided. The exam is based on the syllabus covered and the passing percentage is above 40. Practical knowledge helps students seek industry knowledge and be ready for it.

Other: I'm pursuing aeronautical engineering and I was always interested in aircraft, the sky, and fighter jets, so I selected this course. Anyone interested in sky and space can go for it. Will get to learn very new and mesmerizing things. Our college also organizes Aero events to increase enthusiasm.

Everything in my university is good but still every university has its own pros and cons.

Placements: The placements are good but this year very few companies came for campus selection. As many students are looking forward to higher studies, the company wants to make a bond, so the reason students choose to go with off-campus internships/training is that many even got selected on campus too.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SGU is the best, as the classroom, labs, library, mess, food court, ground, and hostel are all the best. It's just that there isn't any availability of any Wi-Fi connection for students. To be very honest, SGU has the best hostel facility with cleanliness.

Faculty: Our department faculty are very knowledgeable, with good experience and very helpful in small needs. The curriculum goes well with extra online course learning. The exam system is good too, as there are two exams that are conducted before the end of the semester, which is really very helpful for getting good grades.

Other: Our university is the best. It's just that many events are not conducted.

Good for college life or enjoyment, not for career.

Placements: There are 4 to 5 students placed only in my batch. According to my friends, the highest package is 3.5 lakh. Only small, medium, or state-level companies are recruiting. Almost all students have got internships. Software Developers, Full Stack Developers , and Security Analysts roles are offered.

Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure are excellent for any department except the swimming pool. There are many facilities in the hostel like furnished rooms , hot water , cleaning, etc. There are two messes and one canteen available on our campus. Doctors are available on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are good enough but they failed to complete the curriculum on time as well as they well qualified for their roles. Some courses curriculum relevant but curriculum is easy and simple it doesnt make you industry ready. Exams are quite enough .

SGU, Kolhapur Honest Review.

Placements: Placement percentage is less than 70%. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top companies are Bentley, TCS, Tribe, Accenture. More than 80% of students got an internship. Data Analyst, Web Designer, Client Handling, and more roles like Software Developer were offered.

Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi, standard classrooms including projectors, and a great library. The college has offered us great food with various activities like sports, gatherings, and other events, which I participated in to gain more knowledge and, of course, to enjoy college life.

Faculty: The college offered us knowledgeable visits to various industries as it has great staff. The difficulty is medium regarding the exams. Yes, the course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Internship offers provide a good amount of knowledge regarding relevant courses. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: To make myself IT industry-ready and obtain a responsible position in a company, the college should improve placement status because only 2 or 3 companies are offering jobs. Events are great, and I participated in many events and also got a scholarship.

Faculty can be improved in terms of practical and coding knowledge.

Placements: Campus placements are good but not the best. This can be improved. The highest package is 13 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and placed students are 57/120. 10-15 students got internship plus onboard opportunities, and the remaining directly got their placement. Roles include Software Developer, Business Analyst, and UI/UX Developer.

Infrastructure: The course has advanced classrooms with projectors, additional labs, and a library. Hostels have high-speed Wi-Fi, clean rooms, and needed amenities. Mess and canteen food can be better. Sports and medical facilities are much better than at other colleges.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, but teaching quality can be improved. The course and curriculum are outdated and too old. There is a need to add more advanced subjects for students' improvement. The pass percentage for exams is good. Medium-level questions will be asked in the final exams.

Other: Practical sessions and faculty can be improved. Choosing this college will provide you with the best campus and the best college days.

Best college campus ever, as well as the best facilities; their staff are also good.

Placements: Only 10 to 20 percent of students got placed. I don’t know the exact figure, but the highest package is 10 LPA. None of the top companies visited our university in 2023. The average package for computer science engineering is around 3.6 LPA. Almost all students get internships in start-ups or small-cap companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best; there is no doubt about it. They have the best classrooms as well as labs. The college also provides a common library, but no students go there; however, it is available 24/7 for all serious students. The quality of staff in the hostel and canteen is good. Additionally, there are games available for any medical emergency, and doctors are available on campus.

Faculty: Teachers or staff are qualified enough to teach the course, but they do not complete the curriculum. All teachers are helpful. If you are interested in the course, you can get help from any teacher at any time. Tests or exams are very easy. If you study well, scoring higher is very simple.

Other: The college is good, but it lacks hard-working students. Most students come from wealthy backgrounds. If you are a hard-working student dedicated to studying, then you can do better than the college curriculum. Also, do not feel pressured by any college academics if you are interested in other fields.
