Prof. (Dr.) Gopal Pathak, V.C., SBU, Ranchi, the day's Patron, welcomed all the guests and stressed the need of reskilling and upskilling. He stated that society has suffered greatly as a result of the pandemic. As a result, it's critical to comprehend the importance of upskilling and reskilling. He remarked that everyone must keep up to date in their respective fields. He used the survival of the fittest as an illustration. He also emphasised the necessity of work-related resilience, tolerance, and flexibility.

The first panel discussed how to respond strategically to changing skill demands. The panel featured distinguished speakers who discussed the process of gaining new abilities or teaching workers new skills in detail. A career pathing program can be used to implement reskilling and upskilling initiatives in the workplace. Career pathing has several advantages, including satisfying future demand, identifying latent abilities, and creating a talent mobility culture.

The Second Panel was primarily concerned with the company's skill development. The panel featured notable speakers who provided a full overview of how to find people with talents that are similar to the new skills that the organisation demands. It offers a lateral learning opportunity. To bridge talent shortages, an upskilling culture entails teaching employees new, advanced skills. It engages team members in ongoing training and assists them in progressing along their existing career path.

May 21, 2021: Sarala Birla University, today,  hosted the HR Leadership Conclave 2021. The event was witnessed by the active participation of eminent industry personalities.

The first panel focused on the ‘Essential Skills Required for Implementing Industry 4.0,' with distinguished speakers providing a broad overview of what the future holds and how we can welcome it with open arms. The speakers underlined the significance of ‘Remaking the Skills,' since the new era necessitates completely new abilities. Only the strongest and most efficient will survive the impending period, dubbed the ‘Digital Tsunami’. Aside from this, enhancing mental wellness requires special attention. Previously, many people's primary focus was monetary growth, but things have changed, and emotional and mental stability has risen to the top of the priority list.

The second panel discussed ‘Redesigning the Curriculum in Light of Industry 4.0.' The panellists expressed their thoughts, which are extremely important and must be embraced in order for students to be future-ready. The curriculum needs to be revised so that students can become ‘Job Givers' instead of ‘Job Seekers.' They are committed to bringing more cohesiveness to the content and process of teaching. Students will need to gain an altogether new set of skills, which will be doable if appropriate changes are made to the curriculum.

The session was very interactive and informative

Out of 5 star I will give 4 and the reason are some poor faculty and less placement offers.

Placements: Only 50–60% of students are getting placement. The 1st batch of this college had recorded a good percentage of placement, but as the year passed, the percentage rate increased. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Aditya Birla Capital, Aditya Birla Insulators, Grasim Industries Limited, TCS, Earnst & Young, Dell Technologies, HCL Technologies, and many more are the top recruiters.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Approximately 80% of the students are placed every year in our university. The highest package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Aditya Birla Group, etc. In the second year, all students get internships from a number of companies.

Satisfied with faculty and infrastructure, good placements.

Placements: Currently I m pursuing btech CSE. I m in final year. Till now no one is selected for placement from my batch. Some of the companies are coming for drive. According to previous data, 20-30 percent of students get placement every year. Top recruiting companies are Aditya Birla Group and TCS.

I am satisfied with the faculty, and an average placement is done.

Placements: The means of our university are average; the highest package offered is 15 lakhs and the average package is about 5 lakhs. The recruiting companies for our courses include L&T, Byju's, Vedantu, Birla Group, etc., and many more companies. About 95% of students are placed in the university itself.

Worst college, unmemorable

Placements: Worst batch, bad experience. Don’t take admission; no placement, and no teacher is interested in teaching. Only a limited number of companies come for placement. Please don’t take admission. I don’t think there is more than a 4 LPA package offered by any company.
