Q:   Does SRMU Lucknow accept JEE score?

A: 

Yes, SRMU Lucknow accepts JEE score. At SRMU Lucknow, if you score really well in the JEE Mains exam and get a rank up to 25000, you'll get a special 100% scholarship that covers your entire yearly tuition fee. If your rank is between 25001 and 50000, you'll still get a good 100% scholarship, but it will cover your semester tuition fee. For students with ranks between 50001 and 75000, there's a nice 50% scholarship on the semester tuition fee. Even if your rank is beyond 75001, you're not left out – you can still get a useful 30% scholarship on your semester tuition fee.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for MBA at SRMU Lucknow?

A: 

The candidate must have completed their graduation or an equivalent programme in any discipline from an accredited university or an AICTE-recognized institute or college with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks, or a CGPA of 5.5 for general/OBC candidates, and 45% of marks, or a CGPA of 5.0 for SC/ST candidates, according to SRMU Lucknow's eligibility requirements.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University: The best private university in Lucknow.
Placements: Nice placement, and the highest package was 30 LPA. This year (2024), the highest package was 14 LPA. But the average package is around 3-4 LPA, so you have to study hard for a good placement. Multiple multinational companies visit our university for placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There are good and high-tech labs available for us, but the hostel building is not so developed and doesn't provide lifts in the hostel. For sports, a basketball court, cricket ground, and tennis court are also available. Overall, the infrastructure is above average.
Faculty: Faculty is good, supportive, and kind-spoken. Curriculum activities are also good. A lot of sports and activities like dance and singing are also available. Exams in our course are not so hard, but you have to be sincere and attentive in class. Overall, it's not very tough to pass.

This college *, the placement scene is really bad.
Placements: My college is good only to look at; some scenes inside are not good. Functions always go on here, and the placement scene is very bad. Here, they only take admissions; they have nothing to do with placements. They take the admission of 500 students, and only 30-40 students get placed.
Infrastructure: The college hostels are good. The Wi-Fi in the computer lab does not work properly, and sometimes some systems do not work. The food in the hostel is almost fine, and all the facilities in the hostel are good. The fans work properly. The hostel here is very good compared to others.
Faculty: There is no point in teaching them here; they only conduct exams. Two sessional exams are conducted in one month. If the course is not complete, I would send it as a PDF so that you can study it yourself. Some faculty members do not come to class at all; sometimes, they come only two or three days before the semester exams.

My college has really good infrastructure.
Placements: My college placement is very poor because not all students attend regular classes, and only 15 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest salary package is 11 LPA, the lowest salary package is 5.7 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. This package depends on the interview and companies.
Infrastructure: My college facility is not good, but the infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is not available, and labs are available, but computers are not. The library is available, but books are not. All classrooms are well-built. Mess food is not good, and canteen is not available.
Faculty: My college faculty members are not helpful, qualified, and not knowledgeable. The teaching quality is poor, and no faculty member clears doubts for any students. The course curriculum is not relevant, and students are not ready for the industry. Semester exams are easy.

My experience at SRMU (Lucknow).
Placements: I am currently studying B.A. Economics Hons. About 71% of students get placed in my course according to their marks, CGPA, performance, and interviews. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc., visit the college to hire students. About 69% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: There are 5 departments and every department has its own department library and Wi-Fi connections. There is a central library for all students. Every floor has washrooms for men, women, and staff members. Hostel facilities are average but the food is good. There are also some extracurricular activities in the university.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are very helpful. They provide every study material for each student, and in gaps, we can study in the library. If students have any doubts, then they make sure that doubt does not arise again. They take weekly tests and presentations to make us prepare for stage performance to build our confidence.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an IPS officer and for that, I have cleared the UPSC examination. I thought instead of choosing B. A will choose B.A. Economics Hons which can be my plan B if I fail in my UPSC exam.

Placements: Around 60% of students from the CS branch are placed. Top recruiters include companies like TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, and IBM. The highest packages are around 14 lakhs, and the lowest packages are around 2.5 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc. About 50-60 percent of students got internships last year.
Infrastructure: Basic classrooms with standard teaching aids. Computer labs have necessary equipment and average internet speed. The library has a moderate collection of books and resources. Cleanliness is maintained, but rooms are simple. Mess food is average in taste and variety. The canteen provides limited snack options. Medical facilities are available but limited to basic needs. Sports infrastructure exists but may not be well-maintained.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and possess good subject knowledge. However, the teaching quality varies among professors, with some being helpful and approachable, while others may not be as engaging. The curriculum is moderately relevant to industry standards, with a mix of theoretical and practical subjects. It focuses on foundational concepts but lacks advanced, industry-specific skills, making self-learning essential. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing mostly on theoretical knowledge. The pass percentage is relatively high, as questions often revolve around the syllabus and repeated patterns.
Other: B.Tech in CSE, Batch 2023-2027. Why I Chose This Course: Interest in technology and its vast career opportunities. Best Things: Strong programming foundation. Practical learning through projects and workshops. Improvements Needed: More focus on advanced topics like AI/ML. Better lab equipment and placement training. Campus Life: Regular fests and cultural events. Diverse student crowd and peaceful surroundings. Scholarships are available for merit and need-based students. Extracurricular activities include sports, cultural clubs, and tech events.

Review of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University.
Placements: 80-90 percent of students were placed in good companies like Wipro, IBM, Infosys, etc. last year. The highest package offered last year was 13 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.1 LPA. About 70 percent of students got internships last year in companies like Zomato, Infosys, IBM, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided to the students are quite good. Proper Wi-Fi connection, lift facility, and well-stocked library are present for the students in each building of the campus. The quality of facilities is good in the hostel as well. And food quality is average. Medical facilities and sports facilities are available on the campus.
Faculty: Not all teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Sometimes they can't even arrange a teacher, and it results in the loss of students in their crucial period of time. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not easy; you have to study hard to pass the exams without any backlogs, else you will get a backlog.
