Bitter but true talks about SRMU.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is only 2% or 4%. The university's advertising is very misleading and only meant to attract students. Usually, the highest package is approximately 10 lacs for BCA; it can be up to 30 lacs, including B.Tech. The lowest is approximately 2 lacs. Many companies visit for internships and campus placements, like TCS, Wipro, Zebronics, and iTel, but students mainly get selected in TCS. From the regular BCA program, approximately 11 students got internships with three companies, and from BCA specialization, 17 students got internships. Mainly, class representatives get this opportunity. Roles offered include software engineer, web designer, front-end developer, and back-end developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very disgusting. The university is deteriorating day by day in terms of infrastructure, with walls breaking down and paint fading. However, some parts of the university have been renovated recently, like the admission cell. Wi-Fi is not available for students everywhere, but you can get Wi-Fi in the central library, which usually doesn't work. When it's not crowded, you can use the Wi-Fi freely, and it works. Classrooms are good, and benches and desks are in average condition. Authorities check fans every week. The library is quite big, seating approximately 800+ students and having a large number of books. In terms of hostels, Ramswaroop is the best because the fees are not very expensive, but the facilities are worthwhile. You get a full meal with fruits and milk for breakfast, tasty lunch, and a delicious dinner. There is a medical room in the B3 block with a nurse usually available during university hours to assist anyone injured in sports, etc. Sports and games are quite interesting. There are grounds for many games, like basketball, table tennis, kabaddi, football, and volleyball, but the badminton court is covered with cement due to ongoing construction. This year, a famous female Indian wrestler inaugurated our sports meet.
Faculty: The teachers are interesting, but to succeed and pass the examinations, you have to try on your own. If you depend only on your teachers, you will definitely regret it. It doesn't mean that teachers don't teach well, but this is not school, so teachers just come and do their work, provide assignments to students, and leave. They don't have time to explain properly. Besides some select teachers, all are boring and have poor teaching quality. This course is suitable for students coming from any stream in 12th, but the university should update its syllabus according to industry needs, as it has been running for many years. There are three internal tests for every subject before the semester exam, which give students a basic idea of the level of the end-semester exam. I think this is the best thing for students to improve themselves. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: Some of my friends from previous years used to say that this college is better, but BBD is also good. The fee structure of both BBD and SRMU is the same. I chose this university because one of my elder brothers is pursuing his B.Tech degree here, and he forced me and explained the benefits of taking admission here. Things that should be improved are: Exams should be held on time. The syllabus should be completed before the exam. Practical and viva schedules should be informed in advance. The university website should work properly, as students' money often gets stuck on the server during fee submission. Many events and fests are organized regularly. We even get the chance to go to Ramswaroop College, which is in Lucknow city. Connectivity is average, as it is approximately 10 km from the city and in a village area. The surroundings are very beautiful, with some big industries, banks, a police station for safety, a petrol pump, many restaurants, stationery shops, a CSC, etc. The state government provides scholarships based on attendance and percentage in the previous class. We get approximately 30% of the total fee as a scholarship. Extracurricular activities like seminars, hackathons, and games are organized, and prizes are also distributed.

Too much attendance problem. One classroom has 80-90 students.
Placements: Around 50% of students get placed in a job. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro. About 40% of students get internships, mainly in startups. I am a first-year student. They taught me basic Python, HTML, and CSS, and I am learning JS.
Infrastructure: College provides Wi-Fi, computer lab, library, and fan-attached classrooms, not air coitioner. They provide food four times a day, except on Sunday when it's only three times. Only vegetarian food is available. Sports facilities are poor. They have a ground full of grass. No sports kits are available.
Faculty: Our teachers are qualified, they are from IIT. They told me that curriculum is based on recent job requirements of industry. It's my 1st semester. They taught me basic Python, HTML, CSS, and I'm learning JS. It is difficult as they gave questions from medium websites for Python. My number was 3 out of 10.
Other: My JEE percentile was 85%, hence I had to choose any private college. SRMU gave me a scholarship of 50%. I chose the most important stream, which is CSE.

My college has really good infrastructure.
Placements: My college placement is very poor because not all students attend regular classes, and only 15 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest salary package is 11 LPA, the lowest salary package is 5.7 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. This package depends on the interview and companies.
Infrastructure: My college facility is not good, but the infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is not available, and labs are available, but computers are not. The library is available, but books are not. All classrooms are well-built. Mess food is not good, and canteen is not available.
Faculty: My college faculty members are not helpful, qualified, and not knowledgeable. The teaching quality is poor, and no faculty member clears doubts for any students. The course curriculum is not relevant, and students are not ready for the industry. Semester exams are easy.

Living Dream college life.
Placements: 90% of students from my college were placed in the CSE branch of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University. The highest package at my college was 25 lakh, and the average is 9 lakh. Top recruiters at our college were Amazon, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, Daikin, NIIT, and Metacube.
Infrastructure: SRMU is one of the best colleges in Lucknow, known for its legacy and dignity. The infrastructure of our department is very good. There is ample Wi-Fi in the department building, which provides the best experience. We have an excellent library with almost every book on the planet. We have the best facilities for sports, both indoor and outdoor.
Faculty: The teachers at SRMU are the best. They are professionals from very high-ranking colleges and have adequate knowledge about the subject, as well as about practical life. They are ready to help you with any subject or matter and are always there for you.
Other: I love computers and have a lot of interest in the field, so I chose the B.Tech in CSE course at one of the best colleges. We have many events, including sports tournaments. Every year, there are fests for freshers and other events too.

Good college for studies with average placements and no campus life. Come if you want to study.
Placements: 60 to 70 percent of students are placed, and in CSE, there is a slightly higher percentage. The highest package last year was 48 LPA, and as I am in the first year, I don't know much about the lowest. The average is about 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great, but you can surely live with it. The mess food is just okay, and the hostels are good but small. Wi-Fi is available in both department and hostel buildings. Classrooms are mostly clean and there is also a big central library where you can study.
Faculty: The faculty is good and experienced, but the curriculum is old, so we have to study outdated things. Teaching is 7 out of 10. It doesn't make you industry-ready. Semesters are very easy if you study; papers somehow become tougher if you don't.
Other: Good studies but no campus life.

The placement opportunities offered are below par.
Placements: The university's placement rate for this course stands at an average of 50-60%, with only a limited number securing favorable placements. Last year, the highest annual package offered was 10 lac, while the lowest stood at 72 k. Key recruiters include Wipro, Infoseek, Cognizant, among others.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are moderate. Lift services are available exclusively for the faculty, not extended to the students. The Wi-Fi connectivity is notably poor with very low speeds, and the area coverage is limited. While the classrooms are decent, they become challenging to endure during summers due to the absence of air conditioning throughout the campus.
Faculty: The faculty comprises proficient members who occasionally assist in project work and problem-solving. However, some instructors lack a helpful disposition. While the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, their teaching quality is commendable and easily comprehensible for students. The difficulty level of semester exams tends to be average.
