SHUARTS B.Com faculty and their pros and cons.
Placements: Only a few students get placements in the college. Around 5-10% of B.Tech students get placements. The average salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj and local companies are Nandi Agro Private Limited, etc. There is no company that recruits B.Com students. Internships are not provided by our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. They have a lush green campus with a hundred trees. It gives you fresh vibes every day. Classrooms are clean. There is a huge central library inside the college. They have a basketball court, a football ground, a badminton court, and a beautiful garden with a fountain. There are 3 messes and 5 restaurants in our college. Medical and sports facilities are provided by our college.
Faculty: Faculty members of commerce are very good. Teachers are highly knowledgeable and experienced. The quality of teaching is very good. The difficult level of exams is normal. The passing percentage for the course is 40% in every subject.
Other: I chose this college because it is very close to my home like 5 minutes walking distance. The best thing about the course is it provides knowledge and makes you industry-ready. Our college conducts many extracurricular activities, sports days, and events. Scholarships are not provided by our college. The campus is not very crowded.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2024

Satisfaction and good infrastructure.
Placements: In B.Sc. Agriculture, we have 400 students, with 125 members in each section. The highest package offered was 13 lacs per annum, and the lowest was 4 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are VNR Seeds, Amul, Godrej, Bayer, and many more. Top roles include lab assistant, field assistant, HR, and management.
Infrastructure: The college is spread across 1160 acres. We have Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, a poultry farm, a dairy farm, and fields. Both North and South Indian food is available. We have an international hostel and mess with air conditioning. There is a college hospital for medical purposes. We can play games, and tournaments and annual sports meets are held.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and are Ph.D. holders with research experience. The teaching quality is good, enabling us to understand theory, lab work, and practical applications. The college prepares students for the industry with a mandatory 6-month industrial training program and a 6-month field training program. The exams are tough, requiring strong practical knowledge to succeed.
Other: I chose this course because farmers are the backbone of India, and I come from an agricultural background. Agriculture will be crucial in the future. There are few events and fests. The campus crowd is approximately 10,000, and merit-based and sports scholarships are available.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2022

Faculty is good but placement is very poor.
Placements: I completed BBA in 2022. In the last year, few companies came like BYJU'S, JIO, and a few local companies situated in Prayagraj. Mostly offered sales jobs with an average package of 3.5 lakhs. In my class, out of 60, only 6 got placed. Internships are not provided by the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good except for the Engineering and Bio Tech departments. Classrooms feel like we are studying in a local government college. Every department has its own library and computer lab. Wi-Fi is available only in some departments. The university has both girls' and boys' hostels, which are decent in terms of facilities, and the quality of food is average. Sports facilities are good; a cricket ground, volleyball court, badminton court, and gym are available.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified and has good experience in teaching. The curriculum is updated as per the trend. The department also conducts industrial visits, case studies, seminars, and guest lectures to help students understand the current market trends. Exams are conducted from time to time, which are easy to moderate.
Other: Overall, it is a good college, but it is not worth the fees they are charging. Also, facilities and infrastructure are not good compared to other colleges that charge similar fees. The college should focus more on practical knowledge.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2026

Dissatisfied because of events and fests. Good placements were offered before 2020.
Placements: 1) There are total around 400 students in my course. 2) The lowest package is 15k, and the highest is 25k. 3) Agriculture sector companies, fertilizer companies, etc. use to approach. 4) Around 30% students get internships in Titan bitotech, Ajanta soya, etc. 5) Agriculture Officer, Farm Manager, SEED Technologists, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: 1) Labs, classrooms, libraries, Wi-Fi, fields for research—there were all things that are required in college. 2) Food was good, but the hostel feels disgusting; there was a hygiene issue, a water issue, a light issue, etc. Medical faculty is good because college has its own hospital. Sports and games land are sufficient enough.
Faculty: 1) Yes, all teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable enough. The teaching quality was the best. 2) The course is curriculum-relevant. 3) Exams were pretty easy because the subject contains all the marks according to field practical, so somehow it was easy. The pass percentage is around 70% of strength.
Other: 1) I chose this course because there are vast options in agricultural government jobs. It's most practical-based. 2) There should be more industrial patterns or practical things. 3) There are negligible events. Crowd is good. Scholarships are better.

Now the College is Best.
Placements: About 40% of the students in my college are from my batch. In B.Sc. (Honours) Agriculture, the lowest package offered by the college is 8 LPA, while the maximum is 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course include Haldiram, Cadbury, seed processing companies, and fertilizer companies. Approximately 20% of the students secured internships through our course at Amul and in organic farming (Uttarakhand).
Infrastructure: There are three types of hostels for students: OH, NH, and IH. The NRI students are placed in the IH hostels, which provide all the necessary facilities for outsiders. There are three canteens or mess halls in our college, one for boys and one for girls. The food prepared is hygienic, freshly made, and delicious.
Faculty: The teachers in this course are the best; some are very well trained, and others come from ICAR. They teach very well, provide regular assignments, and cover many practicals needed in the agriculture sector. In the end-term examination, the test papers range from moderate to high difficulty, with a passing percentage of 45%.
Other: Our college provides excellent fests, such as food fests and craft fests, as well as events like Esperanza and Divergence, where all students have the opportunity to showcase their talents outside of their studies.

SHUATS is an okay place for agriculture and dairy related courses.
Placements: There are very few students that get placed through campus. In dairy and agriculture courses, the success rate is a bit high, but other than that, colleges are not giving placements. Most of the students get jobs through their own link, or offline placements help them secure the jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the aesthetic pov is great. Labs and fields are maintained in a very decent way. The on-campus experience is quite good, but out of campus, the area is not as well developed as we look or desire. Overall average rating is best preferred for the infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful, well-learned, and versed in their respected fields. Exams are also conducted smoothly every year. Marking is also pretty lenient. All in all, professors and assistant professors are a plus for the reputation and working of the college.
