A Great Value for Those Committed to Preserving Limbu Language.

Placements: The main focus of Sikkim University M.A. course in Limbu is on academic progress, not on direct placement. About 30-40% of this course's students go for further studies after completion; some of them pursue a Ph.D. in Limbu Language, an assistant professor posting, or a B.Ed. to be qualified enough to teach in government schools, especially PGT Limbu Language.

Infrastructure: Presently, Sikkim University is housed at Yangang, South Sikkim, for the M.A. course in Limbu as the whole university is in the process of shifting from its main campus at Gangtok. The infrastructural setup includes a well-equipped classroom and a library with all the basic resources, but not as elaborate as bigger varieties. Hostel facility is provided with basic amenities available. The food in the mess is not bad; there is a variation of meals, but it might not cater to the taste of every single person.

Faculty: The faculty of M.A. in Limbu at Sikkim University is fully qualified and experienced in the field of Limbu language and culture. They have been said to be friendly and cooperative, hence making it easier to build up an appropriate learning environment. The syllabus is also well-structured, focusing on making students proficient in the language and ready for their academic or teaching careers. My masters in Sikkim University.

Placements: Our college provides good placement offers to all our students. There are individual placement teams to manage all these activities. Nearly 80+ companies approached our campus for placement this year. And 86% of students got placed in good companies with average salary packages.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on our college campus. Our campus is maintained properly and neatly. The foods available at our college canteen are of higher quality and acceptable to eat. And our students are asked to concentrate on their interests in sports activities.

Faculty: Our faculty members were highly helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. They keep on motivating our students in all situations. It's very easy to crack semester examinations with the help of our teachers and our college management. And they always prefer to take practical sessions.

Placements: There is a separate department for student placement that assists students with their placement process. The highest package offered by companies is around Rs 6,00,000/- per annum for this course. Additionally, the college provides internships to students.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped with smartboards, projectors, and other study materials. There is a well-stocked library with a wide range of books, journals, and study materials. The college also offers medical facilities to students.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and guide students for their future and careers. They are well-qualified and possess great knowledge in their respective domains. This course prepares students for the industry and provides a comprehensive overview of it.

Review of Sikkim University.

Placements: About 10% of all the students were placed from our course. This institute is a government-based institution, so we only had to pay admission fees. I studied bachelors in economics in this college, which is based on our 3rd chief minister of the state Sikkim named Nar Bahadur Bhandari.

Infrastructure: There is a library, indoor gymnasium for games, girls restroom, boys restroom, labs for every respective subject and every other thing which is needed in a high-level educational institute. There is a canteen which has reasonable prices.

Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable with decent behaviour. Their teaching quality is really good. This course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students more than ready for the industry. Semester exams are more or less difficult and depend on students.

Our university has very good faculty members but campus is not available.

Placements: Placements provided in our college were very good for students who completed their masters in geography. They gave special emphasis on individual placements. There were top companies for recruitment. It is a central university.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university lacks behind. University did not have a campus so it functioned through rented houses in Gangtok. Labs were moderately equipped.

Faculty: Faculty members in our university were well-educated, helpful, thoughtful, and enthusiastic to teach. The teaching was good. The course curriculum was top-notch. They were more concerned about teaching and imparting knowledge. The exam system was fair and the pressure was less.

Other: An annual fest held was the biggest event in our university. Many programs were held and were very enjoyable for students.
