Not much satisfied by the faculty and campus life.

Faculty: The teachers are also not that very much helpful. I took admission a little bit late, but when I asked the teachers for extra classes, they just refused to take them. They said study on your own, so the teachers are also not that very much helpful. You have to do everything by your own.

Sister Nivedita University Kolkata is quite popular for its placement opportunities.

Faculty: The teachers are absolutely amazing and very much dedicated and committed towards their students. The exams taken by SNU are moderate, neither too difficult nor too easy. Our marking system and curriculum are such that they make the students ready for the future.

Average college and college life.

Faculty: I liked the faculty at Sister Nivedita University. They were well-qualified and approachable, and willing to help students with doubts and extra guidance. However, some students feel that teaching methods could be more engaging and aligned with industry practices. The curriculum is fairly up-to-date, particularly for technical and professional courses, incorporating relevant topics and skills. However, more focus on practical, real-world applications and hands-on projects could enhance the learn...

It is a good college for average students with poor placements.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. But their teaching quality needs to be improved. Course curriculum is bit outdated but similar to what other colleges provide. Although it does not make students industry ready and they can opt for masters. Semester exams are fairly easy. Pass percentage is 98%.

It is a roller coaster life after school.

Faculty: Teachers are very biased towards some students. Teachers are unable to complete the syllabus. They are very responsible for informing students about any event, holiday, or exam. They are lenient with the exam. Sometimes they provide us with questions that are out of the syllabus and that have not been taught to us by teachers. They did not have proper timing for labs.

No events for fresher's are there.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers of our course are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is up to the mark. However, they are not interactive. Yes, this course is curriculum relevant. The semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 89%.

SNU is bizarre, with poor facilities, infrastructure, and placements.

Faculty: Teachers try their best to provide the best materials. I feel that they are not experienced, and lack skills and knowledge. They have poor communication skills, and their teaching quality is just average. The course curriculum is not at all relevant, and it does not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is 85%.

It is a great college indeed. I recommend others personally to visit and decide.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified with higher degrees. They work for great companies. The teaching quality is great. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready if they want to pursue their career in the animation or graphic Field. Exams are moderate. Around 85% of students pass every semester.

This is a very good college.

Faculty: Yes, there are teachers, not bad at all, and most of them have passed their Ph.D. What Andorra teaches, we study B. Teach computers so that it will be useful for other civil service exams. The way the Andorra ship guides us is very helpful and they are very friendly in nature.

Sister Nivedita University: A Hub for Holistic Education and Innovation.

Faculty: The faculty members at SNU are highly qualified, with many holding advanced degrees such as PhDs from reputed institutions. Several professors have significant industry experience, which helps bridge the gap between academia and practical applications. The teaching approach is modern and student-friendly, involving interactive classes, practical demonstrations, and the use of technology like smart boards and simulation software.

This college provides good education .

Faculty: The teachers help students very nicely. They are very communicative and active and have good behavior. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Our department does many seminars and also an annual field trip so that students don’t only get bookish knowledge but also outside real-world knowledge.

Faculty members were really good for my department.

Faculty: The best thing about my college experience was the faculty members. The HOD of the psychology department is particularly helpful and very approachable. All the other faculty members are helpful, educated, and very good teachers. The course curriculum is well-constructed and relevant for future professions. The semester exams are quite easy, and the faculty members give good marks. Usually, people pass if they study well.

My perspective regarding my own college.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is sometimes relevant. It may make students ready for the industry if they take it seriously. Being autonomous, semesters aren't that tough because you get common stuff over there.

Inside Look: A comprehensive review of Sister Nivedita University

Faculty: Our faculty members are too good to us. They are so supportive and helpful. They are also friendly with us. They scarcely sold us. They are always involved with competitive things like coding competitions, coding workshops, quiz competitions, etc. The exam is held in our college in two times. One is midsem, which is held in the middle of the semester, and another one is end sem, which is held in the last period of the semester. Minimum 30-35% is the pass percentage of our college exam.
