Placements: Placements have taken a hit after COVID. Earlier, Microsoft used to hire properly. In 2023 and 2024 that did not happen. Only interns who had done their summer internship were given ppo. Even the internship process itself was shady. I had a CGPA of 9.7 when Microsoft came and the college only allowed the top 30 students to submit their resumes. I was able to submit my resume but after that, I do not know what happened and only five students were randomly selected. Even their resumes were not tha...
Placements: Placements for 2018 batch were a big disappointment. Jobs were offered only to the students of computer and IT branch as if the mechanical department doesn't even exist. The status here is same as any other engineering college. SMIT is not even able to offer good internships, and placements are only a dream.
Placements: Placements in the college are not good for civil and mechanical branches. In the previous year, none of the students got placed from the mechanical branch, and only 5-10 students were placed from the civil branch. However, placements for the CSE branch were good. Majority of CSE branch students were placed in the previous batch. Apart from CSE branch, ECE branch has decent placements.
Placements: Not up to the mark. Many companies like tcs don't recruiter students from here. There are only 4 to 5 companies which take 7 to 8 students. This is condition for B.Tech. If you are planning to do Masters from here, then please make sure not to have great future.
Placements: There are no placements at all for our batch. It's pathetic by the management, and they have abandoned us. People who are in management are the worst. Nothing is good. Everything is pathetic and demeaning. You will be ragged by teachers and students.
Placements: Placements in this college are negligible. Only mass recruiters come to this college for picking a handful of students. Companies don't prefer to come to this college, rather the management put more efforts to get more placements for their branch or Jaipur Manipal's.
Placements: The placements in civil engineering is zero percent, but college will show 96%. Department is also Non-cooperative. So according to me, this college should be banned by AICTE. In the banner, the college will show you 100% placement to the students who are eligible, but they do not provide the placements to the eligible students. The eligibility criteria is 6cgpa. I got 7.2Cgpa, but they haven't called a single company for the placement of the civil department.
Placements: From last two years i.e., 2016 and 2017, the placement is very poor. Forget about core companies (for mechanical, civil and electrical). They are even unable to bring IT companies too. For example, TCS cancelled their drive in 2016 and blacklisted the college from 2016. The college authority show 94% or 95% placement. I don't know how they find this percentage may be they have created a new theory to find the percentage and very interestingly this year also the percentage of placement is very p...
Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, a majority of students were unplaced from my batch. Maximum students who got placements were from computer science or electrical and electronics branches while the rest 8-9 branches were vacant in case of placements. No core company visited our campus for placements and TCS even blacklisted our college. Companies like Infosys, IBM, Accenture and CTS never visited our college.
Placements: The placement of my batch was very poor as only 10-12 students out of 120 students got placed, which was in IT companies, whose salaries were around less than 3.2 lakhs per annum. This situation was not only my batch but every batch of the mechanical department. The highest salary was 3.2 lakhs and the lowest was 2.4 lakhs per annum. The companies visited were Wipro, Capgemini, Ericsson, Tech Mahindra and Poornam. Generally, they offered for Analyst or Software Tester roles. It is better to not ...
Placements: The college provides maximum placements like in any other colleges is in the CSE department. They also provide quite a good number of placements in the mechanical department but mostly in the sales sector. Core placement is very low. You would be forced by the college to attend in placements and take the sales job just to complete the criteria of 100% placements.
