SUMUM Doctors Turn Around Critical Elderly Patient

November 24, 2022: A 79-year-old man suffering from acute pneumonia was successfully treated after 57 days of hard work by medical professionals at SUM Ultimate Medicare.

On September 23, Nikunja Kishore Das was admitted to the hospital with a fever, breathing difficulties, and bilateral pneumonia.

The patient was immediately placed on non-invasive ventilation and admitted to the intensive care unit. It was difficult to manage the case because he already had several co-morbidities, including diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism, chronic kidney disease (CKD), arterial fibrillation, and angioplasty.

The patient was treated by a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, including intensivists, cardiologists, nephrologists, pulmonologists, and plastic surgeons.

He added that it was difficult to wean the patient from the ventilator due to his co-morbid cardiac and renal conditions, but it was gradually accomplished over the following few days, and the tracheostomy was closed. Unexpected complications during the course of treatment made it more difficult, he said.

After a 57-day stay, the patient was finally let out from the hospital.

The multidisciplinary team's daily care plan and the ICU team's round-the-clock surveillance helped to win the war, but repeated, upbeat family therapy was the key to the treatment's success, according to Dr Mishra.

It has good placements and really good faculty members.

Placements: Nearly 100% of placements are offered in my college. Due to the current market scenario, the salary packages offered by the companies are less than usual. The college has a dedicated placement team for great guidance. The college provides a great number of opportunities for paid and unpaid internships.

Detailed and genuine review for the college.

It is mostly because of the activities conducted by the placement cell that include aptitude training and mock interviews, resume-building workshops, pre-placement talks, tech training programs, etc. The institute has an impressive placement record and attracts renowned IT companies. Recruiters list includes Capgemini, Deloitte, Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Bosch, GyanSys and many more. The maximum roles offered here are SDE and IT consultant. ...

Good infrastructure, faculty, but limited events, scholarship opportunities.

Placements: B.A. LL.B. as well as BBA LL.B. are both eligible to sit for placement, and the maximum number of students are taken. The company named Quislex recruits a number of students from our college. Other companies too come for recruitment. This year, in 2024, DWF Pune took a number of students from the batch 2020-2025 for internships. Generally, the minimum to maximum package goes from 12k to 30k, respectively.

Good college, good facility, good teachers.

Placements: It’s a professional degree, so you don’t get placements, but yes, you can get an internship for your practice and for your knowledge to get better jobs or to perform well in your job. To add a little bit more to your profession, you can also get a stipend.

The average package which was given this year was approximately around 20000 per month. 4 to 5 companies come to the college, for hiring which might increase in the future.
