The NIRF 2022 ranked SOA University in 16th position. SOA University has been continuously ranked among the top 20 Universities in India by NIRF. SOA is approved by the UGC and accredited by NAAC, ABET, and NBA. It is also recognised by the Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO). The SOA University's placement drive for the batch graduating in 2022 has been successfully completed. According to the most recent data, INR 42 LPA was the highest salary package provided during the 2022 placement drive. The hostel fee structure for SOA University depends upon the number of accommodations, for double sharing with Air conditioning the fee is INR 1.20 Lacs per annum. For triple-sharing rooms with Air conditioning, the fee is INR 90,000 per annum. Siksha O Anusandhan University provides separate hostels for boys and girls with 24-hour security and Wi-Fi facilities. There are 13 boys and 11 girls hostel. The hostels also have mess facilities providing hygienic and nutritious food. The mess charges are not included in the hostel fee, candidates need to pay INR 36,000 per annum to avail of the campus mess.

Siksha O Anusandhan University admissions to all courses are entrance-based. Siksha O Anusandhan Admission Test SAAT a national-level entrance test is conducted by Siksha O Anusandhan Deemed to be University every year to select students. The test is being conducted for different programs offered in constituent institutes/schools of Siksha O Anusandhan. A separate merit list for all qualifying candidates shall be prepared on the basis of SAAT. A candidate selected through the counseling for a course is admitted and registered as a student of SOA-deemed to be a University automatically.

Good college in Odisha, ITER.
Placements: If someone is pursuing BCA, they become eligible for campus placements in their final year. For B.Tech students, eligibility starts from the 3rd year. The highest package is 4.5 LPA. Each year, over 2000 companies visit and offer comfortable packages to deserving candidates. Around 80-90% of students secure placements with decent salary packages. I plan to pursue MCA after completing my BCA.
Infrastructure: The hostels are really nice. The food is nice. Whenever I had any problems, I just filled out a form, and within 24 hours, the issue was fixed. Although the hostels are quite expensive compared to other colleges, they provide flexibility and comfort. The central library offers all kinds of books. Book lovers would really feel like they are in heaven there. Each classroom has projectors for digital education. Students involved in clubs and social groups may find it difficult to manage everything, but it is manageable if one tries.
Faculty: The quality of teachers and their knowledge is very important in the IT sector. To be honest, our college provides the best in class. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite impressive, as SOA has more than 500 faculty members. There are only two exams. They are mid-semester exams and end-of-semester exams. The mid-semester exams are usually tougher than the end-of-semester exams. Around 20% of students fail to clear each exam. The course curriculum is a little old, but it is being updated as of 2024.

Top recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, and Goldman Sachs. Around 70% of students secured internships with leading companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, and Deloitte. The top roles offered are Software Development Engineer, Data Analyst, Cloud Engineer, Full-Stack Developer, and System Engineer, with strong industry demand and excellent career opportunities for the batch.
Infrastructure: Our course offers well-equipped classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern labs, and access to a comprehensive library. The hostel provides clean rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, and basic furniture. The mess serves decent, hygienic food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. A canteen offers snacks and beverages. Medical facilities are available on campus with a resident doctor and emergency support. There are also good sports facilities, including a gym, football ground, basketball court, and indoor games like table tennis. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic and personal development effectively.
Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, with good teaching methods. The curriculum is relevant and includes practical elements that help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty which focus on conceptual understanding. With regular preparation, exams are manageable. The pass percentage is generally high, around 85%-90%.
Other: I pursued B.Tech in Computer Science (2022-2026) due to my interest in technology. The course offers good practical exposure through labs and projects. However, more industry tie-ups and internship opportunities would help. The campus has a vibrant crowd, regular fests, and active clubs. It's well-connected and located near essential amenities. Scholarships are available, and sports and extracurricular activities are well-supported.

It is a very good college. It is a top college.
Placements: Placements are very good. Placements are dependent on the performance in the interview. There are different companies like Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc that have visited our college. Wipro is the top recruiter. The highest package offered is 2.8 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 1.7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi all over the campus and CCTV security. There are 4 boys' hostels and 3 girls' hostels inside the campus. Labs are spacious and digitally updated. Classrooms are ventilated and air-conditioned. There are a cricket ground, a volleyball court, and a badminton court present.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. The course curriculum is good. It makes us ready for the industry. Faculty members use simple language, which is easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessions, which are conducted by the college.

Placements: The college campus was good. A maximum of eligible students got placed in our college placement. The highest package in our batch was 16.4 LPA, and the average package was 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Media-mint, Zomato, etc., come to our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is so big because it provides B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, and M.Sc. courses on one campus. All departments have separate blocks, and inside the campus, a food court, indoor games, and a gym are available for all students. The college campus is fully Wi-Fi-enabled, and all labs are available for practicals. Hostels are also inside the college. They provide good quality food and full Wi-Fi access inside the hostel.
Faculty: Our college faculty members were good and well-qualified. Their teaching quality was good, and they are fully cooperative with all students. They also provide placement training for all students and prepare them to be industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. Most regular students pass all semester exams.
