Placements: Students with impressive resumes begin receiving job offers at our college as early as their third year. The college helps students get jobs by getting reputed companies to conduct on-campus interviews. Most students with a good GPA get placed.
Placements: Due to COVID number companies visited the campus was less than the previous years. Most of the companies are IT only one or two core companies. In Electronics department the highest package I know is around 7 lacs and the lowest package offered was around 2lac. Walters kluwer visited our campus and after aptitude test, technical interview, HR interview and VP interview they simply cancel the post they were offering means they took no one from campus saying we no more have openings.
Placements: Only 60 students got placed out of 160 students from our batch. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. I am absolutely dissatisfied with placements in the mechanical branch. The fee charged was way above average compared to the fee charged by any other engineering college.
Placements: Placements in our college are good, and if you maintain your CGPA, then you can get placed. Our college provides an internship for students. Take admission in this college if you don't get COEP or VJTI.
Placements: Students have good opportunity to get placed in a dream company. Also, 90% students got placed in my batch. There are mass recruiter companies like Accenture, Infosys, TCS and L&T. Even if you didn't get placed in the passed out year, you are eligible for placements in the next year.
Placements: If you are looking for direct campus placements, the record for mechanical engineering is not very impressive as few companies offered jobs for the mechanical branch. However for computers and IT branch you can get good placements. The highest package offered was 16 LPA.
Placements: Placement was good. Companies like Larsen & Toubro, Godrej, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, etc. visited for recruitment. They hired almost 50% of the students. Placement team is not very efficient. However, it changes after every 3-4 years hence probabilities of a better team are there.
The college is a good place to study. The students get good exposure to extra and co-curricular activities. Also, attendance is not that stringent. The college is accredited and so holds a good reputation especially for mechanical engineering. The campus is really huge with a hostel facility and there are lots of canteens. The bad side is poor infrastructure as compared to the fees charged. Teaching and faculty could be better. The college is autonomous since 2015, so its really a good choice to...
It is an average college as compared to other top colleges in Mumbai. The professors are well experienced but very few have in-depth knowledge regarding particular subjects. The labs are very well equipped with the required instruments. The college lacks in terms of others facilities like the playground and International/Domestic exposure. Also, it has a single building.
KJSCE is one of the most well-known engineering colleges in Mumbai. Also, it has got autonomy last year and only 2 colleges earlier in Mumbai had this prestige. Good points: - It has the biggest campus in Mumbai. Nearly all the students get a job through the campus placements. This does not mean that you will surely get a job, but 1 thing is sure, that opportunities are plenty, it is you who should know how to grab them. There is Wi-Fi in the building and good computers to work on along with a ...
It is nice college to explore yourself personally as well as professionally. Fees: Rs. 1,10,583 per year. Keeping the facilities and infrastructure in mind, the tuition fee is exorbitant. Faculty: Lectures are certainly conducted in English and most of the professors are M.Tech/PhD holders but striking a chord with the students has always been a problem here. Placements: Students take admission here because of the placements. Placements at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering are good and have ...
Overall, KJSCE is a very good college and should be amongst the top choices of a student, if s/he resides in this part of Mumbai. For others, travelling becomes a disadvantage. A good bet for an average scorer. While placements is one of the strong plus points of this college; average faculty has been a perrenial problem. With its recent autonomous status, KJ Somaiya will surely strive hard to become one of the top engineering colleges in Mumbai.
