The somaiyians life. The college with good environment.

Placements: Placement of somaiya has placement team managed by students of somaiya. Every month placement is provided by placement cell by registering with the placement cell. There are many companies like icici, many private organisations offering flexible working hours with the average package.

Great college for BMS, with great infra capabilities.

Placements: 40% of the batch was placed. The highest was 4 Lacs, the lowest was 1 Lacs and avg was 2.5 Lacs. Top recruiters were Jaro education, Body talk, roles were entry-level in sales, marketing, finance, media. About 40% GOT internship from college which was run by student-led campus drives. Overall placements were fairly good in terms of various industries coming to campus.

Faculty members in the college have vast experience.

Placements: KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce doesn't provide many placement opportunities. However, the college provides an opportunity or rather guides the students to attend the interview processes in companies. The college should focus on the placements of students as it is an autonomous college, and they also guide the students in the right path.

Satisfied with the college as the faculty members are good.

Placements: The placement process is conducted mainly from January to March. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Zensar, and Symphony, etc., visit the college to offer placements. The average salary package offered was around 2 LPA. A few companies do have the criteria of 60% score in academics. Placements have been improved a lot in the last two years. Overall, the placements are good, and we are hoping the best for our batch.

Good college with good placements.

Placements: The placement for our batch was average since most of the students want to pursue further studies like MBA. Around 30 to 40 percent of the students got jobs in finance and insurance sectors. The highest CTC was 1.5 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 1.2 Lacs per annum. Companies like ICICI, HDFC, LIC visited the campus. Hardly twenty students went for an internship. There was no stipend offered. The students have their own placement cell which is moderately effective.

K J Somaiya Arts & Commerce.

Placements: Placements were overall good. There were not much placements for BMS at our time but for other streams the were good. The internship that I got from college was really good. Got to learn so much from the internship. Some of my friends even got placed from campus interview.

Overall a good experience, enjoyed the fest in all the three years, satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Placements were good enough for students to get the exact know how. L&T infotech visited kast year for our senior batch. This year the placements arena't much better. The minimum salary offered currently is 15000. Placements were mainly focused around sales, finance and marketing related jobs.

Good brand name along with a decent placement record, very good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Altogether, decent placements for graduates. Our senior batch had good placements with companies like ICICI visiting the campus. We get decent packages for graduates. Roles and profiles offered were challenging and were a good learning experience. Placements are improving but after all, it all depends on knowledge and skills.

Great infrastructure and other facilities with no placements.

Placements: There is no placements committee. No support from the college and the course coordinator with respect to placements. Each and every student tried themselves from outside for placements. There is no internship period during the entire course of three years. Apart from all this, one best thing was that we students were given opportunities to go to various corporate events which helped us in networking and finally for placements through networking and personal contacts. ...

The campus area is extremely big which actually provides students with a lot of options and places to roam around, sit and study, eat and many other things. It's one of the best colleges. It's a huge campus and has all the possible courses. Divided into 5 major institutions within the campus, it's one of the most desired colleges by the students as it is quite an ancient college formed around 60 years ago and has a very renowned place all over India at least.
