It is a good college academically, but the campus life is not good.
Placements: There are no real placements as in MBBS. The college has an excellent hospital, which is RL Jalappa Hospital. It is a district hospital which has approximately 2,000 beds, and the exposure provided to various diseases and course of treatment is very good. Mainly the course offered is MBBS, along with nursing and allied health sciences.
Infrastructure: The college and hostel are Wi-Fi enabled. There is a 2-floor library which is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi. There is a digital library also. The labs in all departments are well-equipped. The men's hostel is very good with twin-sharing rooms and attached washrooms. 4 lifts are available. Food from Sagar Group is good. Proper laundry system is available.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and are MD holders in their respective subjects. They have a writing thesis. Not all teachers are good at teaching, and some are excellent, while some are below average. It is not difficult to pass the exam if you study well, but being an MBBS student, you can't pass by reading for a week before exams.

It is a nice college to get an MBBS degree.
Placements: It is a deemed university, so most of the students are from the upper and financially middle-class families. Placements provided to us are good, and students who have good marks in NEET exam are also studying here. Around 70% of the students got internships from our college. They are practising well during internships, but the stipend offered to them is less. Overall, everything is good here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is perfect, and the campus is good. But the food served is not good, and the Wi-Fi facility doesn't work properly. Internet connection is poor. However, there are good restaurants around the campus. The library is the best place to study, and it is peaceful and helpful. There is also a canteen, but the food served in the mess is not good. Laundry facility is not available in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members here are nice. They all are well qualified and helpful. They always ready to help students in academics and also in non-academics. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students a good doctor so that they will progress in their future.

Good college but need improvement in campus life.
Placements: The hospital is really good and will provide you with a lot of variety of patients. You will get hands-on experience with the patients. Doctors are really cooperative, as they'll provide you with besides teaching. New cases as well as recurrent cases keep coming, which gives good experience.
Infrastructure: Campus is big. There are lots of trees. There is one single university building. The hospital is within walkable distance. Labs and diagnostic centres are well-equipped with the latest technologies. Practicals are held on time, and unlike other colleges, you get to do practicals on your own.
Faculty: Clinical faculty is quite good. The syllabus is finished in time. The curriculum is well oriented with the CBME pattern. Time-to-time examinations are conducted to evaluate your progress. There are 4 university exams that you need to clear before doing an internship.
Other: Campus life is good. Students are from all over India. They are quite interactive, and they provide a lot of exposure. Seniors are very helpful. It is a completely ragging-free campus. Serious action is taken if anyone is found guilty. It is a smoking and alcohol-free campus; if found guilty, serious action is taken. Hostel is good. Rooms have enough space for two boys and three girls.

Review of Sri Devraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research.
Placements: More than 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered was approximately 2-3 lacs per month, while the lowest salary offered was Rs. 60,000 per month. Maximum students will get placed on their own in hospital chains like Apollo, etc. About 80% of the students got internships. Students pursue MBBS and MD super speciality in most of the clinical subjects.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel. There is a centralised air-conditioned huge library with separate sections for PG students and UG students. Teachers teach through projectors in the classroom, and there are well-equipped labs. Hostel rooms are satisfactory, but there will be some issues with food as they mainly focus on providing South Indian cuisine. Our college has a gym, cricket ground, basketball court and football ground for students.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified as they are mostly speciality in their field. Their teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is completely relevant, and students should maintain 75% attendance. Mainly they teach through projectors. Students are also prepared to do presentations on various topics.
Other: I have chosen MBBS as it is the most respected profession, and also I want to serve my nation. Our college organises both inter and intra-college fests regularly.

Satisfied with the college, and it can be improved.
Placements: Placements are good here. Approximately 70% of students get permission for good hospitals, but I think we need to pay if we go out for placements such as north side. Well-reputed hospitals like Apollo, etc., offer placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite popular here, and everything is good, especially the library, as it's huge enough to accommodate 500 students. It has a good and peaceful atmosphere. All the required books are available, and no need to buy any book outside.
Faculty: The faculty are a little strict, but it's okay as it is a medical college. We have semester-wise examinations, which is good. Each semester is for 6 months.
