Q:   What is the admission process at Sri Venkateswara University?

A: 

Sri Venkateswara University admissions to all Undergraduate, Postgraduate courses and research programmes are administered by the Directorate of Admissions (DOA). SVU Tirupati conducts the Sri Venkateswara University Common Entrance Test (SVUCET) every year for admission into MA, MCom, MSc, MPEd, and MLISc courses offered by the constituent and affiliated colleges of Sri Venkateswara University. The selection of students for the PhD programme is made on the basis of the SVURECET conducted by DOA from time to time. Shortlisted candidates through the entrance exams needed to appear in the viva voce to complete the admission process.

Q:   How can I get seat in Sri Venkateswara University?

A: 

To get seat in Sri Venkateswara University candidates must follow the belwo steps:

Step 1: Qualify the eligibility criteria of the cousre you want to pursue. For example: To pursue BTech, you must have twelve years of school education with 45% aggregate. 

Step 2: Clear the course based entrance exam. For BTech, you must get a valid score in the SVUEET/ AP EAMCET exams.

Step 3: Sri Venkateswara University application process will be required for admissiom. You must visit the official website to apply for the cousres.

Q:   Is there any entrance exam for Sri Venkateshwara University?

A: 

Yes, Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) in order to provide admission to candidates in postgraduate courses such as MA, MCom, MSc, MPEd, and MLISc offered on campus and through its affiliated colleges. The SVUCET is a university-level entrance exam that is conducted annually in order to offer students admission to postgraduate courses that are offered at the university. The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode, i.e., as a pen-and-paper test. The duration of the entrance exam is 90 minutes. Candidates must pass their qualifying exam with at least 40% marks in the concerned subject.

Good academics, average placements, and facilities.
Placements: However, placements are limited, with around 10-20% of students securing jobs. The highest salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. A few students get internships mainly in local industries or research labs.
Infrastructure: PVKN Government College provides well-equipped and well-maintained labs, spacious classrooms, and a library with ample resources for M.Sc. chemistry students. The hostel is basic but clean, with average food quality in the mess. The canteen offers limited options. Sports facilities are decent, with courts and a playground, but medical facilities are minimal.

Placements: Placements in our college are 70%- 80% percentage for some years depending on the course and batch. The life at the sri venkateshwar university.
Placements: The percentage of students were placed in the college in my course are about 70 percentage but the remaining students are left out with out any job and internships. The highest package in my course is about 16 Lacs, the lowest package is about 4 Lacs and the average package is about the 6-7 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The college has the most beautiful and wonderful infrastructure which is the one the reason why the college has the most crowd in the campus. The college has the most wonderful facilities, the campus is enabled with Wi-Fi 24/7. The facilities at the hostel are really very good and the food quality is just awesome .
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and highly qualified and highly knowledgeable, there teaching quality is just awesome, they treat us very clearly and as many times we ask with out any irritation. They even teach us from the basic without disrespect and the insult.

Really good infrastructure, facilities, and good placements in 2023.
Placements: 70% of students got placed in my batch, the highest package being 20 LPA and the lowest package 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and IBM. 50% of students got internships at Tech Mahindra and Accenture. Top roles offered in my college are developers, software engineers, and system administrators.
Infrastructure: Well-designed classrooms, digital libraries, audio-visual facilities, and auditoriums. Separate hostels for boys and girls, well-maintained canteens, all types of food available, indoor and outdoor facilities for games and sports, and a health care center for students to get medical care.
Faculty: Teachers in our college all have postgraduate backgrounds, and teaching quality is superb. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit different; the pass percentage is 80%, and our faculty will conduct study hours.
Other: I chose this course to improve my knowledge and got placed in a well-reputed company. Spend more time in the lab. In our college, every 3 months there are events, and I got a good scholarship while I'm pursuing a lot of extracurricular activities. The college surroundings are very nice, and the atmosphere is good.

The crowd is very amazing, I mean the best.
Placements: From the 7th semester, students are eligible for the placements. The highest package in our college is 8 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Nearly 60 percent of the students are placing in different companies. Internship here in college, and for 6 months, college will send you to a few places; it's around 7-10 places for internships. Places like Pune, Gorakhpur, Hisar, Rohtak, East India, and a few places in the South are stipend-free.
Infrastructure: Social life of a regular college is very good, but Venky is just different. We get a lot of Venky stuff, and we think it couldn't be just better because it's the best. The social life is just amazing, and the extraordinary minds, the interactions, and the diversity are just good, like not just but extra good.
Faculty: Faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20. Faculty is genuinely approachable; all the teaching staff is always there for help. Assistant Professors are helpful and friendly in nature. Regarding exams in BVSC course, annually 3 internals occur of 40 marks each, out of which the best of 2 internals are recorded, and the requirement for external is set up. 2 external exams are conducted for each subject. The difficulty of internal exams depends on the subject teachers. A few of the subjects were stuff, and internals were also stuff, especially for the 2nd and 3rd year. If you are consistent with your studies, you can surely gain good marks.

Placements: There is no percentage evaluation for placement in our college. The highest packege is 4.5 LPA and the lowest is 2.2 LPA. We got an internship but those are not paid any money because it is a graduation-based course that everyone should pass.
Infrastructure: Coming to the faculty, they were good at all the things and they explained everything. Coming to the infrastructure, which is not that good, we have a Wi-Fi facility but no access for students, poor classrooms and a library that is not even used at all.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very perfect and qualified. Coming to the semester exams, we practically studied very hard and the exams were conducted at the university, which is affiliated with it, and we happily finished.
Other: I chose B.Sc. for my computer science education, which is very good nowadays in the IT field and the best thing is that we have learned many computer languages like C, Java, etc. We celebrated many events and even I got many prizes.
