Strong placements and vibrant campus life with scope for curriculum update.

Placements: Only 60% of students got placed and the highest salary package offered was around 34 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 3.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, AMD, Honeywell, etc. Only 55% of students secured internships. Top offered roles were special programs.

Infrastructure: Library is not that much good. It is okay library and labs are similar as I said for library. Classrooms are somewhat better when compared to library and labs. Hostel food is super tasty. They maintain high quality when it comes to food every penny that we are paying for a hostel is value for money. Our college does not encourage sports and that is the main disadvantage of SRM University. Instead of sports, they keep cultural activities like dance and much more every week.

Faculty: Faculty members at SRM University are knowledgeable and approachable, often going beyond the syllabus to help students understand concepts better. Teaching quality is commendable, and I would rate it 4 out of 5. Course curriculum is designed to cover core topics but could include more industry-relevant advancements like blockchain and DevOps. Semester exams are relatively easy, with questions often repeated from previous papers, making it easier for students to prepare. Pass percentage is high due to the structured curriculum and accessible exam format. Overall, the teaching quality and exam structure ensure students gain a strong foundation in their field.

Other: I pursued B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (2020-2024) at SRM Institute due to its robust curriculum and strong placements. The course offered hands-on learning with supportive faculty members and diverse opportunities. Events like Aaruush (tech fest) and Milan (cultural fest) added excitement, while the campus connectivity, amenities, and vibrant crowd enhanced the experience. Scholarships and extracurricular activities supported holistic growth. However, the syllabus could be updated with emerging topics like blockchain, and more industry collaborations would improve practical exposure. Overall, SRM provided an excellent blend of academics, events, and career support, ensuring both personal and professional development.

It is a brief experience of my college life.

Placements: Almost 100% of placements are in SRM University, so I don't need to worry about the placements for freshers in SRM University. TCS and Accenture top companies come and recruit the students in the campus interview. The salary package offered is 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel is good and they provide good quality food and good quality rooms for their students who stay in the SRM hostel. There will be safety for students who stay in the campus hostel. They help students at any time they seek help.

Faculty: So many staff working in SRM University are well-professional staff. They guide the students and help students during their academic. They treat a student like their own kids. They support them at any time and boost their self-confidence.

Other: There will be so many events conducted by SRM to boost and relax their students. They provide opportunities for students in the culturals to student showcase their talents on the stage.

Good placements are offered in our college.

Placements: Very low level of students only got the placements. The highest package is 8 lakh; the lowest package is 4 lakh. The average is 2 lakh. Good companies are offering jobs to the college students. But, nowadays placements are poor.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was neat in the collage, but the dogs are always on the campus; no Wi-Fi for us. The library is okay, the quality is so good, and the canteen food was so good. Medical facilities are there, and games are good. No mess is there in our college.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, very talented, and qualified for good teaching for us. Students are made ready for industry. The teaching quality was excellent and beautiful, with a friendly and humble tone. The pass percentage was 40 percent in the exam.

Other: BCom is a good degree and basic. The improvement was to reduce the rules and placements. Events, festivals, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular activities, etc. are so good.

Good placements, teaching, and infrastructure.

Placements: The reason I'm studying in this College is its placements. It has very good placements and also the recruiting companies are of top tier. The highest salary package offered is 14.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Many students are placed with good amount of packages.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in SRM Ramapuram is so cool, there are 6 blocks of buildings here and separate places for transportation. Labs are very useful and classrooms are organised. Every classroom contains digital screens to teach the students. Canteen is everywhere and good.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced and knowledgeable in subjects and syllabus. Teaching quality is above average, not perfect because some teachers don't know how to teach. Course curriculum is relevant and syllabus oriented. This College contains various streams.

Other: I'm currently studying MCA in generate AI, because it's new course and valuable course.

It is a superb college where we can get placement easily.

Placements: There were 560 students placed in our campus placement with a very good package, and everyone got a good package. The average package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 9 LPA, where most of them got a good package, and they are very happy. Staff were so helpful at placement time.

Infrastructure: In SRM Ramapuram, there are very good labs. For engineering graphics, there is a superb lab with more than 70 systems and an AC lab where a main projector staff member will be explaining and clarifying our doubts. Two staff members will be available for the lab section where they can help students.

Faculty: Teaching will be good, and faculty will help in every way to score good marks in exams. There are two class tests before every semester, which will convert into internal marks. In SRM, there are 60 internal marks, and we need to write a 75-mark university exam, which will be converted to the remaining 40 marks, where we can score good marks.

College is okay but a great place to create memories and learn a lot in life.

Placements: They always focus on 100% placement. They will do their best to get you a placement and cooperate. However, cooperation is based on the teacher or the person in charge. Some departments have responsive in-charges, while others don't. Also, only after all the students from the main branch are placed will others receive good placements.

Infrastructure: The girls' hostel is better compared to the boys', and the college infrastructure doesn't feel like a college. Construction is still ongoing. They destroyed a basketball court to build a new one but won't let us use it. The canteen doesn't have much variety and is a bit pricey.

Faculty: Partiality is based on each department. I am a CSE student, so it's fine, but other departments have their issues. Don't worry about exams; eventually, you will pass. Just focus on your health and placement. CSE teachers are okay, but whatever you do, have a good image.

Other: There is no freshers' party or farewell.
