Is B.E./B.Tech at SVSU - Swami Vivekanand Subharti University a good choice?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

    Pros:

    * Good placement record: About 60-70% of students from the CSE branch get placed, with an average package of INR3-4 Lacs per annum.
    * Well-qualified faculty: Majority of the teachers are M.Tech/PhD qualified and are helpful and supportive.
    * Modern infrastructure: The college has well-equipped labs, classrooms, and hostels with Wi-Fi connectivity.
    * Good academic performance: The pass percentage is relatively high (around 40%) in most subjects.
    * Variety of courses: The university offers a range of courses, including Bio-stream options.

    Cons:

    * Limited exposure to top companies: Few reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, leading to limited placement opportunities.
    * Average package: While the average package is decent, it could be higher considering the qualifications and skills of the graduates.
    * Infrastructure issues: Some students reported poor Wi-Fi connectivity and occasionally malfunctioning smart boards.
    * Limited opportunities for internships: Few internships are available, and those that exist might not offer competitive stipends.

Overall, while SVSU has its strengths, such as good faculty and infrastructure, it seems to struggle with limited placement opportunities and lower-than-expected packages. However, the university appears to be making efforts to improve its industry connections and placement records.

Recommendation: For students seeking a strong educational foundation and a chance to develop their skills, SVSU might be a suitable option. However, those looking for extensive corporate connections and higher-paying job prospects might consider alternative institutions.

    Really good infrastructure and campus.
Placements: Placement in our college is based on skills. Many companies come and interview students, providing jobs on that basis. Eighty percent of students get placed every year. Those who have good skills and various companies come here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus are also good. The campus is very green, neat, and clean, and the discipline is very good. In our college, there is no ragging or other misbehaving activities. The hostels are also good and have good facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are also very good. They are regular and on time, and they teach everything properly. They are very supportive and motivated in every situation, and they always tell us the right things. The courses are also good, and exams are based on the syllabus.

College is good according to the price it is charging but not that great.
Placements: Almost 50–70 percent of students got placed. College brings some companies that give average placement. It is neither high nor low. It is quite moderate. If we talk about internships, then previously there were no such opportunities, but currently college brings some companies that give internships to the students.
Infrastructure: College provides all the facilities that a student needs for a happy life. There is only one thing that the college doesn't provide: there are not so many events like fests conducted in the college. Hostels are also very nice; you'll love them. Food in the mess is also good.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are very helpful. If you need any help, then they will definitely help you. The course curriculum is also up-to-date as per the current demands of the industries. The semester exams are moderate, which means if you study regularly, you will definitely pass them.
Other: The crowd here is good but there are not so many fests conducted at our college. That is one thing that I want my college to improve.

Review of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University.
Placements: Around 10 students were placed in 60 students. The placement record of this college is not good; the average package is 3–4 LPA and very few technical companies visit this college. Most of the students apply for out-of-campus placement. Actually, the college asks for an internship certificate at the end of the first year and they also tell us what to do.
Infrastructure: The classroom is very bad; even the smart board doesn't work sometimes. Wi-Fi works. The library is well installed, with AC and fans. Only AC hostels are good, except that none are good. Yes, there is a playing field in every hostel and on campus with a large area and yes, there are NCC cadets also.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are good, whereas others are not. Some are from IITs but they don't know how to teach, even though they have knowledge. Yes, the college makes half of the students industry-ready ; the rest of the work we have to do on our own. The semester exam is moderate. The teacher shares a tutorial sheet with the student for practice and on the basis of that, questions come in for the exam.
Other: Actually, there is no such reason to choose this course, I always wanted to do a B.Tech. from any well-known institute and I've also tried for JEE but I couldn't. The things I wish to improve are no dress code, an upgrade in system, a new teacher with friendly behavior, and a well-qualified person with a sense of humor. Yes, fests and events are organised by our campus but I didn't go; I had only attended my freshers party. Yes, scholarships are also available in college. Every year, students get 15-20k in extracurricular activities. I have made an RFID door clock with my friends.

Satisfied because of good placement, study environment and resources.
Placements: 1. 60 to 70 percent students are placed from the CSE branch in this year. 2. The highest package is offered 4 to 5.5 Lacs pa, average is 3 to 4 Lacs pa and the lowest is 2.5 Lacs pa. 3. The top recruiting companies are tcs, map my india, viraj venture and mobilloitte.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is really excellent and campus life is also good. Wi-Fi is provided in all over campus and hostel and college. Labs are well working, classrooms are awesome there are many virtual classrooms hostel infrastructure is excellent all services are provided but quality of food is average some time it's better but some time worst. Canteen are there in hostel and college and so many canteens are present in the university campus. Medical facility is best and quick action is done by organisation. There are so many sports grounds like football ground, tennis ground, cricket ground.
Faculty: Faculty members are so helpful and qualified. Course curriculum is average for industry work but still college is improve in this field. Semester exam in not easy and not so difficult but difficult exams are conducted by Subharti university on time. The pass percentage is 40 percent in every subject in the course .
Other: We wish to improve placements and industries level course curriculum event and fest are organized by college time to time like fresher, farewell, cultural fest, and sports activity on university level. Scholarship is provided by university.

Placements: Around 65 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 4.6 LPA and the lowest is 2.6 LPA. Recruiters include Wipro, Justdial, etc. There are no internships available. Top roles offered are software engineer, account handler, etc. We have a training and placement cell where we prepare ourselves for the interview.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and modern. The hostel is good. Wi-Fi and labs are available. The quality of food is average. A canteen is available outside the hostel, which is open 24X7. Sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They will help if you have any problems regarding your courses. Almost all teachers are Ph.D. holders. The method of teaching is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not difficult. You can easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in computers, and the world is going to be more technical.

If you want to be a great engineer one day, if you are going for only a degree, then it's okay.
Placements: Placements are provided for an average number of students, except for the Computer Science engineering branch. Students who have cleared all papers are placed. The minimum package offered is 3 LPA for average students and more. Recruiting companies include Paytm, MapmyIndia, etc.
Infrastructure: In the hostel and campus, Wi-Fi is available for different areas like classrooms and common areas, but not accessible all the time for students. In the hostel, Wi-Fi is available but the speed varies. Food is average like hostel food, and for sports or games, the ground is open for all students.
Faculty: Teachers and all faculty are well-educated and supportive, but in different departments, there are fewer teachers, which may cause a burden of subjects on the same teachers. Students face the same teachers again and again throughout the day. Courses and curriculum are well-prepared for their respective branches. If you don't study, then you are not going to pass with a good percentage.

    Admission FAQs

Q:   How many students can do B.Tech at Swami Vivekanad Subharti University?

    A:

The limited intake of 50 students for B.Tech programs at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University signifies a deliberate focus on maintaining smaller class sizes, fostering a more personalized learning environment, and ensuring individualized attention for each student.

A smaller cohort of 50 students per year can offer several advantages. It allows for closer interaction between students and faculty, creating an environment conducive to collaborative learning, in-depth discussions, and a more personalized educational experience. This can contribute to a stronger sense of community among students and facilitate better access to resources and support.

Additionally, a smaller class size can lead to more effective mentorship opportunities, enabling faculty members to closely monitor individual progress, provide targeted guidance, and address specific learning needs. The intimate setting may also encourage students to actively participate in class activities, fostering a more engaging and dynamic learning atmosphere.

While the limited intake of 50 students may restrict the overall size of the B.Tech program, it underscores a commitment to quality education and individualized development. Prospective students considering B.Tech at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University should weigh the benefits of a smaller class size against other factors such as programme curriculum, faculty expertise, infrastructure, and overall university reputation to ensure that  the educational environment aligns with their preferences and learning goals.
