December 14, 2023: Swami Vivekananda University established the Centre for Tagore Studies and Performing Arts, emphasizing the university's commitment to conserving and propagating Rabindranath Tagore's literary heritage. Chancellor Dr. Nandan Gupta presided over the opening, which included distinguished guests such as Prof. Basabi Fraser and Prof Neil Fraser. Prof Subrata Kumar Dey, Vice Chancellor, and Prof Deb Narayan Bandyopadhyay, CEO, were also in attendance.

Through interdisciplinary studies, this program, inspired by utopian aspirations, attempts to bridge literature and performing arts. Prof. Rituparna Chakraborty, Head of the Department of English, emphasized the center's dedication to studying Tagore's writings and contributing to academic debate. December 14, 2023: The Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship inaugurated its dedicated website as part of the Vidyasagar Academy's celebration of Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's 203rd birth anniversary. State Education Minister Bratya Basu launched the website, which aims to help academically gifted youngsters from low-income families pursue higher education. This scholarship is available to students in classes XI and XII, as well as undergraduates, postgraduates, and those seeking M.Phil and doctoral degrees at state-aided institutions. During the event, Basu emphasized the launch of the Vidyasagar Academy website.

The new website is an excellent resource for anyone interested in Vidyasagar's views on India. In addition, the book "Mahasagar Vidyasagar," a collection of his writing and poetry, was released. District-level events were held in Purulia and Alipurduar districts as part of the academy's state-level outreach. Among these initiatives was a District Level Essay Competition held in cooperation with Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University and Alipurduar University on the theme of 'Vidyasagar and Bengali Modernity.' Students from these universities took part in various courses, and the program was overseen by professors Sumit Chakrabarti from Presidency University and Pinaki Roy from Raigunj University. Winners received commendation certificates and prizes, with the first prize being Rs 5,000, the second prize at Rs 3,000, and the third prize for Rs 2,000.

One of the best University in West Bengal.

Placements: 90 percent of students were placed from here. The highest package is 240000 and the lowest is 96000. 100 percent of students got internships from our university. We can be good and helpful physiotherapists from our university. All over it is too good. You can go for it.

College is average but the locality and the roads are in such bad condition.

Placements: About 60% get placement. The highest package was 7 LPA. Woodland Nursing Home, Apollo, and Neuro-Science, such big names came last year for internships. Roles are always offered as a junior physiotherapist, but I will suggest opening your own clinic.

Average college, faculty good, infrastructure and placement average .

Placements: 50-60% students got placement in B.Sc. (H) Agriculture the highest package - 3LPA and the lowest - 1.5LPA Big basket, Pan SEED Haldiram 70% got internship from our course in Pan sees and Haldiram Roles offered was Sales Executive, Quality analyst, Sales and marketing .

Placements: 60% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 50,000, the lowest package is 20,000, and the average package is 30,000. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, HCL, Amazon, and Cognizant. 75% of students got internships at Infosys.

Average faculty, campus life is average, labs are good, classrooms are air conditioned.

Placements: In the B.Optometry course, almost 90 percent of the students get placed on average. Top recruiting companies are Odisha Eye Hospital, Netralaya, Lenskart, and some other hospitals. The university tries to provide internships to almost everyone through some companies. The average package is around 2.5 LPA. The maximum is around 3.5 LPA, and the lowest is 1.75 LPA.

Good placement and faculty and they are very helpful.

Placements: About 80% of students at our college every year got placed. The highest 12 lpa and the lowest 1.5 lpa. Many companies like Tata and Wipro are available. From my course, 70% of the top students got placed. Students got internships from my course in companies like Sy Biogenesis and Tioscass. They provide internships for every student. And the average placement package in our college is 3 LPA.
