Q:   What is the seat intake for B.Tech at SSIU?

A: 

The admission process at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University (SSIU) is designed to encompass a diverse range of programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, and lateral entry levels. Prospective students are encouraged to carefully review the admission criteria specific to their desired course before initiating the application process.

SSIU offers a full-time four-year BTech programme in 13 different specializations, including Blockchain, AI, Data Science, and more. Admission to the BTech programme is merit-based, with the final merit list determined by scores obtained in HSC. Eligibility criteria for BTech admission include Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects. The overall seat intake of BTech programme is approximately 550 students. The seat intake varies from specialisation to specialisation.

Q:   Does SSIU accept JEE score?

A: 

Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University (SSIU) is a private university located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The university was established in 2017 and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). SSIU offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, technology, management, and science. 

SSIU accepts JEE score for admission to its BTech courses. The cutoff for the General category for the previous year was 12000 for the 1st round, 15000 for the 2nd round, and 18000 for the 3rd round. Candidates are also required to have a minimum of 45% marks in Mathematics and Physics in their 10+2 examination.

In addition to JEE score, SSIU also accepts Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) score for admission to its BTech courses. The cutoff for the General category for GUJCET was 30000 for the previous year.

Q:   What are the required documents for admission to SSIU?

A: 

The application fee for the PhD programme at SSIU is INR 2,000, and it can be paid online using debit/credit cards or net banking. Alongside the application fee, candidates must submit several documents during the admission process, including marksheets of Class 10 and Class 12, certificates for Class 10 and Class 12, graduation and postgraduation degree and mark sheets, character certificate, transfer certificate, migration certificate, and, if applicable, a caste certificate. These documents collectively ensure a comprehensive evaluation of an applicant's eligibility for admission.

College with Apple labs and incubation center for innovative ideas.
Placements: Basically, I am not a passed-out student; I am currently in the 5th semester. The average placement packages are around 4-5 Lacs. Many local and mid-cap companies come for placements. 80-90% of students get placed. The job roles are like trainee, assistant software engineer, and very few get higher posts according to their skills in coding and all.
Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi campus, and it's only available in labs and libraries. My college has Apple labs and computer labs. We also have an incubation center where we can give our inventions or innovative ideas. We have an incubation cell for innovative ideas, and we also get capital if our idea is good. The food is much better. We have free Wi-Fi available in the hostel. There is a Bed and a separate river for everyone.
Faculty: Yes, some teachers are very helpful, and some are not. Not really, all teachers are not that much qualified because they don't know how to teach students in an easy way. The teaching quality is poor. Yes, it makes us ready for the industry as we have labs where we can practice on our own. Exams are not that difficult, but some papers are lengthy, and we are unable to attempt all questions and write them. The passing percentage is 34%.
Other: In my batch, we are 70 students, and all are friendly. I chose this course because I like software and games. The best thing is we keep learning new things about technology and about futuristic developments which will be based on computers and cyberspace. I wish we should also have subjects in foreign languages in our course. It will help us snatch away jobs easily in foreign countries. We have events like sports, including football, cricket, basketball, and kabaddi. We also celebrate days in our college like celebrity day, traditional day, group day, signature day, and many more. The campus is full of green plants and nature.

After all, if you are a person who is easy.
Placements: My batch has a total of 90 students when I was admitted to this university. The highest package of 50+ LPA has been mentioned in the uni prospectus. Well, the internship has been very less provided , and yes, the placements too. Companies like TCS , Google, IBM , and many more are seen.
Infrastructure: Every facility seems pretty decent and I have no complaints regarding it. Everything works perfectly fine for me in the uni premises. Hostel rooms have a total capacity of 5 people per room allotment and yes it is very good , no problem at my end.
Faculty: Not gonna lie , teachers are not okay. I can't cope up with them. The only concern of the college is that yes, the teachers are very helpful if any problem arises. You can always reach out to them. They will help you. The semester exams are just a piece of cake. It’s very easy.
Other: Lots and lots of events happening in the uni. No doubt

Placements: I'm currently pursuing a Diploma. The scene of placements here is not that good. The least minimum job you'll get in the name of placements is a job in the college as an admission cell workman, assistant professor, etc. Do not refer to the website because it's fake.
Infrastructure: There's no Wi-Fi, but yes, the infrastructure is good. It is equipped with a separate library for engineering & medical sides. There's a big cricket ground, football ground, tennis court, badminton court, and a proper full-fledged medical ward/hospital. For engineers, there are 2 different computer labs: Windows lab & Apple lab. A separate seminar room is also available. It's equipped with almost everything a student wishes for. And there's a good canteen too.
Faculty: There are 3 types of professors: 1) cocky & egoistic, 2) neutral but not knowledgeable (those are actually students who are pursuing their Masters and also working as assistant professors). 60% of professors here are like this. 3) Only 10-20% of professors are actually good at teaching, but they tend to leave fast because of the toxic and corrupt work culture. For computer engineering, there are only 50% of subjects that are relevant. And for the difficulty of exams, they are actually quite moderate and easy to pass. You just have to learn key segments, that's it.
Other: I chose this course because I was too scared to go back and clear 12th Science PCM board exams. I didn't have an option. There is only one good thing about this course: you'll get the certificate, that's it. This won't improve; maybe the next generation will not suffer like me. Yes, events happen here, and they're actually quite good. The place where the college is situated is not that good. 75% of the college crowd are mannerless village students. Alcohol consumption, cigarettes, and intoxication products are common here.

Placements: In our college, almost 60% to 80% of students were placed. The highest and the lowest salary packages are determined according to the students' skills and knowledge. Our college students are now working for leading pharmaceutical companies. Almost 70% of students got internships. Top roles offered were QA and QC.
Infrastructure: In our college, all classrooms had air-conditioning. All facilities were available in labs. Both the gas line and water supply were properly installed. In our college library, all types of books were available for knowledge gain. There were various types of references available. The food served in the canteen was good and healthy.
Faculty: Our college faculty members were very supportive and humble. Their teaching quality was excellent. That difficult topic was simple to grasp. Our college organised an industrial visit to gain knowledge. The exam pattern included two class tests, two midterm exams, and one internal practical exam.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: We had to apply for registration in ACPC through the online process. You get admission to college according to your rank. The ACPC rank sums your HSC and GUJCET marks with a ratio of 60:40 respectively. The highest and lowest salary packages were offered based on the company and the student's ability.
Infrastructure: The quality of food was so good in the canteen. There was a good environment for education.
Faculty: All teachers were qualified. Their teaching quality was good. There were two class tests, two midterm exams, and one internal practical exam organised by our college. They were not easy to clear. The course was moderate. It was not so difficult because of the highly knowledgeable faculty members. Every subject had different teachers, particularly 2 or 3 for each. They explained everything thoroughly and answered all our questions.
Other: Our college annual and tech fests were organised. Sports week was held once a year.

It has a good course curriculum and placements. It lacks practical exposure.
Placements: Almost 89% of students get placed in our course. The average salary package is offered in our course. Top recruiting companies visit the college to hire students from our course. About 60% of students from our course got internships. The top 5 roles are offered in the Bachelor of Computer Application course.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are available in the college. It has fast Wi-Fi, powerful labs, the best classrooms, the best library, and the best hostel. The food quality is average. Medical facilities, sports, and games are available specially for students. The environment of my college is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching techniques are quite good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. In the 5th semester, exams are difficult. Students should at least score a 3.5 CGPA, and I scored a 7.2 CGPA, which is the most difficult section.
