Best College for Agriculture and Allied sciences.

Placements: The placement percentage was above average. They have separate clubs for placement where top agricultural companies like Rasi Seeds, etc., hire for good postings across India and Tamil Nadu. Roles offered include Field Officer, Farm Manager, Sales and Marketing Head, etc.

I'm satisfied with faculty members, but not with placement. Really good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are not good. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is Rs. 65,000 per annum. Top recruiting companies are agriculture-related.

Good environment with a strict college-like school.

Placements: As far as I know, only 2 have been placed in a sugar factory, and the package is around 10-12 LPA. The company's name is Parrys Sugar. They have been trying to get more companies, but mostly students join themselves in a company related to the agriculture sector.

Palar Agricultural College is best.

Placements: The placement in my college is at an average level. The percentage of placement is about 50%. The package is 15k per month. Most of the students are willing to join the government sector, like in competitive exams such as UPSC and TNPSC, which are the most interesting jobs for the students in this agricultural course. Moreover, the annual package is a minimum of 2 Lacs and a maximum of 3.5 Lacs.

Satisfied with this college because of the best memories, friends, and staff.

Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in top recruiting companies in this course with a salary package of 3 LPA - 4 LPA in sales and marketing roles. Students got internships from our course in companies. Top roles are offered to students.

Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing my BSc in agriculture, I do have many friends who are pursuing the same.

LPU is accredited by ICAR. It is the 1st private university to get accredited by ICAR(Indian Council of Agricultural Research).
